- As the demand for private market investments increases, so does the need for the targeted knowledge and job-ready skills required to keep pace with the profession and client expectations. That’s why CFA Institute is excited to announce the launch of our Private Equity Certificate.
Developed in response to an identified need for private equity training that incorporates financial modeling, the certificate will prepare professionals to thrive in the competitive landscape of private equity. Additionally, the new certificate will cater to the needs of small to mid-sized PE firms by providing them with high-quality content to onboard new hires and improve retention.
Participants will learn how to build robust leveraged buyout (LBO) models, assess deals, and leverage value creation strategies through a self-paced learning experience.
I'm HOPING the PE cert is more useful than the Private Market & Alt Invest cert that was released. Thankfully my firm will just reimburse me once I complete the PE cert so I don't mind shelling out the $900 in the mean time.
If you are going for the CFA charter - these courses are unnecessary. I am a MBA who doesn't need a CFA charter - but wanted additional education in PE. That's who should take this course. Just my $.02.
Makes sense. But, the CFA L1-3 curriculum doesn't have all that much information about PE.
@@straighttalks-ajsrmek323 I am not familiar with it - so that's good to know. Hey - at the end of the day it's an investment in yourself, and if you can afford the $890 - I say why not?
I’m personally interested since our PE managers send us their models when they offer coinvest. Hoping to better interpret their assumptions and make any adjustments on our side
Iam studying MBA finance 2nd year. After Business or CFA best . Please give me answer sir,iam confusion.
Hello AJ Srmek
Is the job of investment banking very risky? I'm asking myself this question because I'm aware from a certain perspective that as an investment banker you invest millions of euros that belong to your clients.
On this basis, there is a dangerous possibility that if you lose money as an investment banker, then....... 🤦👹🤦👹🤦👹 (there is possibly a risk).
That's why I'm asking whether this job is risky or not.
You are describing a buy-side finance job. Investment banking is a sell-side finance job.
