Thank you Gwen. I feel good all what you say. The people like you, like us, inemployable, but creatifs and curieus, make the world better. I'am a very happy full time artist. The best for you.

That is just so lovely, thanks a lot. Just had my first exhibition in about 35 years and wow, I had about 3 weeks to put it all together, it worked :) Your advice is so good, many do not have a plan, I am sort of one of them, but I know it's very important. The workforce is very much based incorrectly with art and creativity often overlooked in the workforce, we see things differently we combine un-combinable things together (on the one canvas) we say they are related, we break many of the cultural boundaries, especially now after covid. Here comes the new renaissance and it's the artists that bounce back first, because, they face themselves every day. We tend to be optimists, and we know how to create, let's get to it. Thanks for your beautiful advice.

I was going back and catching up on some of my bookmarked videos and just watched this, so glad I did! Wow such an inspiration. You hit the mark on everything I needed to hear. I'm stuck on the marketing thing but I really needed to realign why I'm doing this and not be deterred by the minutia in the process. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and great advice.

Wonderful insight, Gwen. I would add that the most difficult challenge for many in becoming a professional artist is the capacity to internally self identify. That is, to confidently tell people that you care for that yes, you are an artist.

David....I totally agree with you . Developing confidence is one of the things I should have added.....thank you for pointing this out. As wonderful as it is to be an artist it requires that we
step into ourselves , accept that we are wonderfully different while sharing with the world what is in our heart and soul.

Gwen i am retiring and going full time into, “real people portraits”, portraits need to be revived from the rich privilege to be enjoyed by all. My daughter is helping me build a website. Because of you i have made a giant leap into bright non traditional colored portraits . I will keep you posted when i go “live” eek so exciting.

Good Morning , since few days i looked at many youtube vedeos. Good Artists , good taste or bad taste ( always relativ) but elegance is someting else. You are an Artist. A rich geerous soul. I can see your eyes meanwhile painting; They express more than thousands words.
You are a poet. as well And i can feel it.
I will contact you soon because i do really think i need a coach and never had one during my entire life. I prefer to call a coach A guide, a muse that encourage you to go behind the mirror. best wishes

Antonio....thank you so much for your lovely comment. I totally agree with you on the words used for coaching....a guide or a muse sounds great. I look forward to your email if you choose to do so going forward with discussing future guiding.

Patty....I bet you are referring to the transparent brown that can look like black.....it is Asphaltum by Gamblin. You will love it as it is a fabulous color.
