Thank you for attempting to explain these verses. I say "attempting" because it's a bit unsettling for me to understand. I love my family more than anything on this earth, but I've never examined myself if I've loved them too much. I know I love Jesus, too, but it's hard to separate maternal love for family from the spiritual love I have for Jesus. I've loved my husband and children for over 50 years, and have only known the TRUE Jesus for about 10. I'm still learning about Jesus and knowing Him better. This one is difficult and has given me much to ponder.

After praying about it, sleeping on it and watching it again with my husband, I will say that I'm going to continue trusting Jesus to refine me to the place He wants me to achieve. I'm fully submitting myself to any correction He puts on me, as more than anything, my vision is focused on being His servant now and also when Christ returns to set up His Kingdom here on earth. Thanks again for your work in His kingdom.
