Brilliant video!! I used to live in Helsby as a child. I've never walked the sandstone trail, but now I feel inspired to do it, when I return to the UK. Very interesting, great video, thanks, love the information about geology, wildlife and archaeology. My mother was the secretary at Delamere forestry commission, I used to wander about all day in the hols, getting thoroughly lost and never seeing anyone. A bit eerie in places with small black pools. I went back a few years ago and it seemed more domesticated and full of people. I used to cycle to Beeston castle for the day with my friend, we used to think it was such a long way and incredibly hilly by road.
This is the best Sandstone Trail I have seen, however, there is one error. The helter shelter was sited on Frodsham Hill not Helsby Hill. That is the reason why the Helter Skelter pub is in Church Street, Frodsham.
I really enjoyed the video. Lovely scenery and a good bit of history. Thanks for sharing.

Frodsham is not only the start point of the Sandstone Trail its also the end point if you start at Whitchurch
