A rare creativity depicting a treasure and cute friendship between haves and have-nots. Childhood is more "understandable" and sensitive than adults. The best of scripts and direction with its slow music an icing on the cake. An extraordinary depiction of two worlds that have become so common not only in African nations but India et al. as well. Congrats to show our bleak future in such a powerful but simplified manner.

Best moral story based film. Children shud watch ,how much they are in comfort zone. Shud know the pain of orphans . Shud not waste food . This film vl tach them to share and be kind to unprivileged section of the society.

One of the most difficult aspects of a sensitive movie making is depicting the subtle emotions without overdoing it and at the same time not lacking the requisite proportion. It has to be in appropriate levels. "The Apple" has that perfect amount of emotions which makes it a wonderful watch. The way both the teenagers show their emotions and connect onscreen is truly commendable. I loved watching it albeit with moist eyes.❤❤

Okk now my story when i was six or seven years old , i used to throw away my tiffin everyday , my mum used to give me apples , one day a senior caught me throwing my tiffin , she scolded me a lot after which i never threw my tiffin..
But now i realize wht level of heinous crime i was doing and i still feel if God comes down and gives me punishment for tht i will bow down before him and accept all punishments , my father who worked hard to just feed me healthy fruits , my mother who herself never ate fruits but always packed one for my tiffin , how the hell could i throw them off ?? This incident i never told my parents , but i remember it for my whole life and i regret it , i wish i could hold their feet and cry and say " please forgive me , i was a senseless idiot " , but its okay i started to realize value of food as i grew up and i am 18 now ..
Big hug 🤗. This story is inspired by my childhood memory when I used to dump apple from my lunch box inside my study desk but many days later my dad found out 😊
