Peony Care - Farmgirl Flowers

A few years back we did a poll with some Farmgirl fans and learned that 92% of your favorite flower is a peony. You and Farmgirl, both! Peonies are quite a coveted bloom, with an incredibly short season beginning here in the U.S after the last cold, hard frost (usually April) and lasting through June-ish. We’ve been working with an international farm in Chile to be able to bring you peonies outside of this short window!
These Farmgirl favorites are a feast for the eyes, but require a little extra tender, loving care. Watch for our best tips on troubleshooting these coveted blooms, prolonging vase life (peonies are notoriously short bloomers!), and more!

I like to think outside the box and go against the grain....few days ago i cut some Peony (at a public area in my neighborhood, very 1st time) i didn't know how to care for them so i turned to UA-cam, i had many small unopened, immature buds on the stems with the fully mature ones, based on the suggestions (that the buds have to be a certain size to fully open) i felt bad discarding the baby buds, i decided to keep them and placed them in a small vase of water 5/29/22 & add some cut flower food.
*I AWOKE ON 5/30 & TO MY SURPRISE ALL THE LITTLE BABIES POPPED OPEN, BY 5/31 MORE ARE OPENING....I HAVE ALL THESE PUFFY BALLS OF BLOOMS, SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!😁 🤗🥰💖
