I think he didn't intend to build more dudes, but when he saw a yellow dude running down he built another Barack just so he could deal with yellow. All other dudes was bussy with protecting and was spread out.
Both reasons given are correct. A lot of players sell their barracks to get some money back and to save on the power they use. I also made a mistake as i was not sure how far away the first ore patch was so the building were blocking where I wanted to place my ore refinery.

You could even build some walls in front of these teslas and bridges.
If he just repair it, it would be a nice step in micro, and of course know the line of sight of cruisers. Things that is qualified as pro stuff.

I was selecting all units. The default hotkey is shift +A but you can change it in the options.
"Q" will set waypoints for your units. It "queues" move commands for them.

Is there a reason you don't repair the tesla coils when your economy is good.
