- Sheila's fourth studio album, Legenda album was released in 1990 simultaneously in Malaysia & Japan. The album features reimagined modern interpretations of classics by the late Tan Sri P. Ramlee & Saloma.
This tribute to the great legends captured the imagination of the nation. Little wonder that in the same year, she was awarded the Ahli Mangku Negara (A.M.N), a federal honour, by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong IX.
Afterwards, a nationwide tour was in the works and this time, she had songs from Legenda, her best-selling album to date to woo people with. Needless to say, the two-year tour was hugely successful. It culminated in a concert at Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur which drew a record-breaking crowd of more than 10,000 - so far the biggest by a solo artiste at that time.
This Legenda concert was digitally recorded on 27th November 1991 at Stadium Negara.

I was a staff of EMI (M) Sdn Bhd and obviously, I was here too! It was a night to remember. Sheila was in her element, and the backing musicians were all in top form!!!!

I was there too on that night. World class musicians, Tower of Power Horn section, you will know who are they if you google. Steve Thornton on percussion played with the likes of Madonna, Stevie Wonder Michael Jackson, Mac Chew musical director, and the sound- And light featuring Japanese expertise.

I got to know this song frm Sheila , after tht theres no stopping to listening to Yamashita's city pop , loved it. I think ths song Sparkle song has been her "staple" song in her every concert since then.💖💖💖

I bought cassette for this compilation of concert as im sabahan n was still in my upper six. Now im49 and currently working in kl n hopefully able to attend ths coming march 2023 comcert.

I bought the cassette set I recall during my Polytehcnic days in Ipoh around 1992 I guess and I would play it over and over again until I could practically memorize large chunks of the songs, sequences and even the instrumental parts. I recall vividly singing while washing my clothes and being able to gauge how long the time passed by each 30-minute side without a walkman or a watch. Until today, I still remember many of the songs from this concert as the only version I love, so much better than the original studio version. She is truly the queen of our hearts.
