My oldest sister son look like Bert Convy. He has the dimples and the hair. I think Bert was so Cute. Especially when he smiled. My nephew died way too young also. RIP Bert.🕯️💕🕊️✨🤗🌹💐🌠🌌. Vee J.
In the Seventies, when Tattletales was on the air, on CBS-TV, I wished that my then - favorite actor, Vincent Price, and his third wife Coral Browne Price, were on the show but they never were.
This show should be rebooted. And either Alfonso Riebiero, Chris Harrison, or Terry Crews would be the perfect host of the new rebooted version of Tattletales. ABC should air it too.
Bobby Van & Elaine Joyce were the most entertaining couple of the 70's Bobby Van was a Game Show Host for Showoffs and later The Fun Factory and Make Me Laugh while Elaine Joyce would soon get a Game Show Hosting Gig on The All New Dating Game during the 86/87 Season She left the show so that she can spend more time with her new baby boy at the time and it was the last revival for Chuck Barris Fact: Jim Lange the longtime host of The Dating Game was unavailable due to his hosting commitment on The $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime and Chuck Woolery who would host The Fating Game in the late 90's was busy pulling Double Duties as host of The Original SCRABBLE on NBC Daytime and The Original Love Connection on syndication
l cannot believe Alejandros' wife threw him under the bus in front of the world...l wonder how long it took for him to see this episode and hear all the terrible things she said...and true or not, you do NOT divulge that kind of information on a game show !!! Makes you wonder what caused him to blow up
Kicking in a TV set in 1974 ? With a picture tube ? Not possible. Even if you were able to perform this feat, the implosion would destroy the foot. She must have bèen meaning just kicking it, which would also break the foot, depending upon the strength of the kick.
Joyce: It hurts when (Alejandro) yells and screams at me. He kicked in the TV and smashed the dishes. Alejandro: (Joyce) is having a good time as a woman. Seems legit.
Orson was actually divorced from Carolyn Maxwell in 1981 after being married for 16 years. He then married Allison 'Alley' Mills, known for playing the mother in 'The Wonder Years' and the matriarch in 'The Bold And The Beautiful'. They are still married.
apparently, Orson and Carolyn were swingers back in the day....different accounts have different stories as to whom was the instigator (e.g his biography says it was her)...

I love these couples. One of the best episodes!
Thanks for this peek into my childhood. It brought back so many great memories. Also, I love the vintage gameshow theme music!
Good close game! Some eye-openers too. Thanks! 😃
I love &miss Bert convey....R.I.P
Love these old shows. Bobby Van and Bert Convey died way too soon
Bert Convy died in 1991.
@@paullarue2010 Yes, I remember when he did
Both succumbed to brain cancer 😞
Alejandro Rey died way too soon--57 yo in 1987 lung cancer.
RIP Orson Bean
So sad the way he died...
@@bettycogswell9851 Orson was so funny, witty and handsome, too. Broke my heart to hear how he died. I was sad to hear he broke up with Caroline, too.

I also found it quite distasteful
Idt she should tell us how horrible his temper was with all his violence

I'm glad that the G-T library is kept by FremantleMedia instead of you-know-what.
+Mitchell Hang (Gilblitz112) Phony? :D

+Mitchell Hang (Gilblitz112) Amen to that
What's the matter with Sony (if that's what you're referring to)?

Bring it back with Craig Ferguson hosting!
Episode 45.
April 26, 1974.
Orson and his wife are still married...sadly Alejandro Rey was such a heavy smoker he died young at age 54 or so in the 80s.
Orson was actually divorced from Carolyn Maxwell in 1981 after being married for 16 years. He then married Allison 'Alley' Mills, known for playing the mother in 'The Wonder Years' and the matriarch in 'The Bold And The Beautiful'. They are still married.
Actually, Orson Bean divorced Carolyn. They were married 1965-1981. Alejandro Rey and Bert Convy both died at 57. Bobby Van died at age 51. So sad.
apparently, Orson and Carolyn were swingers back in the day....different accounts have different stories as to whom was the instigator (e.g his biography says it was her)...
I was quite impressed with Orson and Carolyn, they seemed like a good match. And 16 years is not bad.
Alejandro Rey died age 57 on May 21, 1987. RIP. So very handsome.
