This rug is one that really makes me zone everything else in the room out. I love how it sounds and looks as its scrubbed. It holds a lot of dirt and a lot of water!
I’m glad to hear that! I just recorded a video today with this same type of rug but wasn’t dirty but I made it into a scrubbing ASMR video and scraping too. But mainly just lots of foam and scrubbing slowly and sometimes but faster… I didn’t edit yet but it’s a long one! At least an hour. Might publish it on either Thursday or friday ♥️

I've thought about scraping & wonder if you can over scrape it? You sometimes scrape several times & really get the water or soap out. Most everyone else just does it once & moves on. Seems to me that the more you scrape the less you need to rinse it.

I scrape a lot because scraping is very satisfying part of the video and I think a lot of people scraping once “waste” on a lot of satisfying good scrapes they could be giving us viewers. Being that I’m obsessed with watching rug washing I try to give my viewers all that sometimes some creators don’t give me but wish they did. Extra scrapes, scraping the back of the rugs, hose under the rug(which I can only do when I have access to the hose and the hose happens to glitch like it did for me in this video and the trigger was stuck on the on and the water didn’t stop shooting even after I took my hand off the trigger 😂,) hand scrubbing etc…. I used the rake for scrubbing too it gets deep into the fibers and lifts up the embedded mud that was in there. And then of course to serve its purpose as a carpet rake at the end 🥰
*PS: being that I don’t wash these professionally and for clients, when I wash these I wash them from a viewer’s point of view and not from a professional point of view. Heck I don’t even do everything I want because I could easily make these videos be 2-3 hours long but then most people won’t watch such long videos until the end or without skipping parts which all could potentially end up hurting my channel’s performance.

Scrubbed a large rug yesterday and a large one today, my son helped me both times. Theres no way I could record these tho because I get tired every 1 minute and have to stop. All the brushes I got from temu don't work right. They are flimsy and the white brush with the squeegee on it goes back and forward from the squeegee to the brush so I cant scrub with it. I used my blue hand brush like yours and got rug burn cuts on my fingers from scrubbing and I guess I was scrubbing my skin off 😂. I still had fun with all the soap tho 😆 I would have to just do tiny rugs by myself. I definitely need a cement pusher too.
Ugh I’m sorry! I have loved my temu brushes! You do have to be careful scrubbing some rugs especially the back of some as I have also gotten my fingers scraped and burnt on them! Ouch!! The white temu brush with the squeegee is one of my favorites! It’s is flimsy but if you’re careful enough it works wonders. It’s my favorite to use at the moment. Just wish the handle was longer because it’s a back breaker!
@RugWashingASMR so I finally got my cement Placer and my floor squeegee and 2 different scrub brushes with long handles. I agree that they need to be longer tho because my freaking back can't handle it. That's why I'm afraid to record any videos because I have a hard time.
@@lovelyrenee6395 well just record it for yourself and then if you like it and comes out good you can post it. You can also edit out any parts you don’t like for example when you have to stop and sit and rest. Trust me, a lot of this goes on behind the scenes when I wash these rugs. I just never show it. 😂

The metal scraper isn’t heavy thank god!! It’s super light. You don’t want heavy because it’s hard scraping rugs as it is. It’s actually a concrete placer and from Amazon. Most brushes are from Amazon as well. Are you going to start a rug washing channel? Let me know if you are I can help you.

Yes depends what soap I use. The liquid dish soap smells delicious! The red one I’ve been using lately. This video I don’t remember which soaps I have used. But most the times they smell nice once I get rid of all the mud 😂
