I remember in Dr. Paley's interviews on your channel so many sent in x-rays after getting messed up. So this is a great initiative. However do your due diligence and make sure their stories are true before giving them a platform - some maybe from competing clinics trying to ruin the reputation of another clinic

Hi Cyborg, I appreciate you for all the content you create. I remember you did a video rating doctors on their level of expertise, but never mentioned Dr. Kevin Debiparshad. What do you think of him
@@logical_lb3059 You _could_ do it with 2 surgeries, but you'd have to do 15.4cm to get 6 inches, meaning ~9.5cm on femurs and ~5.7cm on tibias, which is quite a bit and you'd probably have complications, bad ballerina foot, a long recovery, and not ever quite recover to 100%. 6'1 would be far more doable, only requiring 5 inches or 12.7cm total - only 7.8cm on femurs and 4.9cm on tibias, which are both considered to be within the "safe" lengthening limits of 8cm and 5cm, respectively. This also allows you to use Precice II, Precice Max, Guichet Nail, or BetzBone - while trying to get to 6'2 would require the use of LON (ouch - avoid if possible due to pain, scars, pin site infections, etc.). I would shoot for 6'1 if I were you.
Can you make a video talking about Dr Giotikas I’ve heard some good things about him and his clinic but i wanted to know if you knew anything about him to kind of get your prospective if he is a good and trustworthy doctor
Hello again vic. The question is why the max length is 5 inches. What is the obstacle preventing from gaining more height? There have been cases of lengthening 30 or more cms. If it is about muscles and soft tissues, it means once they fully healed you can do another 5 inches, or it does not work like that?
@@Cyborg4Life im about the legs, what i mean is the limit of 5 inches leg lengthening can be surpassed just by doing it in several surgeries, first 3 on femur and 2 on tibia, once fully healed you do 3 more on femur and 2 more on tibia= 10 inches in total. The reason im asking this is i wonder how they do 30 cm lengthening, and if it is technically possible at all
I really want to thank you for making these videos. Do you think that in the next few years new methods that are more affordable and safer will come up? Also do you think that 8cm of tibia lenghtening trough an internal nail is possible? If I were to ever get 7-8cm of tibia lenghtening done, would that also lenghten my calf muscle? making it seem as if my calf inserts lower on my tibia? or would it just lenghten the tendon and give me a very high calf insertion?
I think there will continue to be advancements in coming years so yeah things will get better (hopefully). I do think that much on tibia is a lot and probably more than you could handle safely in one lengthening
Hey Victor, I'm watching all of your content abou LL, proportions etc. I was wondering What’s the normal difference in length between femur and tibias. A femur naturally 6 cm longer than tíbia is normal? Thanks
Your tibia length ideally is 80% of your femur length. You can calculate that ratio via tibia length/femur length. Anything within ±3% is still considered within the average (normal) range, so 77% to 83%. Anything below is a comparatively short tibia and anything above is a comparatively short femur. In a video where he mentioned this, he used this example: Ideally, tibia = 32 cm, femur = 40 => 32/40 = 0.8 = 80% Using my own measurements, as best as I'm able to take them, my tibia is 37 cm and my femur 41. So 37/41 = 0.9 = 90% which means my femur is short compared to the average, as I fall outside the ±3% of 0.8=80%
I'm about 5'11 and wish I could have this done. The cost is very high though, but it also looks to be painful and a long recovery process. Also looks to be risky and perhaps with problems later on as one ages. I don't know, having grown up in Turkey I never felt like I was judged for my height. The fixation around height in men appears to be primarily a western phenomenon, primarily more American and British. I'm not sure why this is, but, there are nations where height doesn't determine your worth as a man.
There’s more arteries in the femurs than anywhere else in the body. How can anyone claim this is safe? Also, people have died through pulmonary embolisms cuz of this surgery. If it was safe, that wouldn’t have happened.
