I've never been to Cebu. But based on what i've seen in many other vlogs, Cebu seems to have it all - white sand beaches, turquoise waters, rich marine life, stunning falls, beautiful and unique mountains, fun adventures, cosmopolitan living (Cebu City), historical structures, the grandest festival (Sinulog), and i'm sure many more. It's truly the queen of the south :)
Btw guys, just need to add these to the food list i gave you before. I think these are also must-tastes if you get the chance:
LA PAZ BATCHOY - a rich noodle soup originating in Iloilo province.
ARROZ CALDO - a chicken ginger rice porridge with many toppings.
:)
It really does seem to have everything!! We have heard a lot about Sinulog and really hope we get the chance to attend as it sounds amazing!
@@TravelstoFreedom the biggest and most fun festival in the philippines, you will have lots of fun, lots of vloggers will converge when it happens too!!
Cebu looks beautiful! The resort you are staying in looks like paradise! I love those views of the temple at the end too!
It really is beautiful and has a little bit of everything! The temple was hard to capture as there were so many places we couldn’t record but it was a really cool place to see
I've been to these places and plan to visit many more. I'm flying back to Cebu on Christmas Eve and then I'm going to Siquijor and Bohol and not decided where after that but excited about it. The Philippines is a gorgeous country with wonderful people, so happy and friendly.
Hi Michael, try to visit Dumaguete and in Valencia heaps of foreigners lived there, you might meet Mark he's on you tube called " Everyman has a story" all the best..
@@benjaminbeber9894 Thanks I plan on visiting there because I’m hoping to retire in a couple of years, so maybe I might retire there
I came from that island, I've been away far too long since the 80's but every now and then, I go back for a holiday and stayed for a few months and back again to my adopted country. Hopefully one day I'll be staying for good as I'm getting closed to my retirement. San Jose not far from Dumaguete , it's very peaceful there and cheap too. All the best...
@@benjaminbeber9894 I’ve visited quite a lot of places in the Philippines and finally I will get to visit Siquijor and Borocay. Good luck with your retirement plans and I hope to retire too in a couple of years
That sounds like a good plan! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas in the Philippines☺️
Omg! that pancakes, bacon and maple syrup is delish.. my favourite too 😋
Beautiful Cebu.
They celebrate the biggest festival in the country every 3rd week of January called Sinulog.
@@TravelstoFreedom Sinulog Festival grand parade will be on Jan. 15, 2023.
Good thing that you have been to sirao. I have been waiting for other vloggers to visit that place but nobody does.
Been following your adventures from Manila to the Cordilleras, Palawan and now, beautiful Cebu. There's a significant improvement in the quality of your videos. What didn't change is your sincerity and curiosity.
Many vloggers have come and gone, you two are one of the most engaging to watch. I hope more viewers discover your vlog and sub.
Thanks so much Anthony! We really appreciate you watching our adventures and your kind words!💛
Oh no! You missed the Tops garden. It is beautiful during night. If you’re still in Cebu come visit Tops garden

Hello and welcome to my home city of Cebu🤗. New sub here. There is so much to see and do in Cebu! We have the city vibe and the island vibe altogether.
The Bluewater Maribago Resort is definitely a good choice👍.... There's much to see in the mountainous area of Cebu City other than Sirao Gardens e.g. Temple of Leah, Little Tokyo and several restos and cafes with great views of the city and the mountains. Many vloggers tend to miss or skip this area and directly head south for the canyoonering, sardine run, whale shark and Osmeña trek experiences... If you have time, head north of Cebu and there's many white sand beaches in the island of Bantayan and Malapascua!
Hope you can come back for the grandest festival of all - the Sinulog! It's held every 3rd Sunday of January and making a comeback in 2023 after 2yr hiatus due to covid lockdown.
Enjoy Cebu and keep safe 😷
Hey and welcome to the channel, thanks so much for subbing!!☺️
It was an amazing resort and we are so happy we stayed there! We have checked out the Temple of Leah, I’m actually editing the video right now 🤣 we have a couple more spots we are hoping to explore before we head down South. We didn’t know about the beaches in the North so we’ll do our best to check that out too!
The festival sounds great, that would be amazing to see 😍

Nice to know you made it to our island of Cebu. Make sure not to leave till you get some Lechon either in Talisay or in Carcar. Or visit Ricos Lechon in the city.
Thank you! We actually tried our first Lechon last night & will have a video out for it next week ☺️
hahahaha Louie was actually right on with that fruit. It is commonly called as a foxhead, nipple fruit or cow's udder. That is inedible though and more for ornamental purposes.
Woohoo I was right about something 🤣 they look very cool that’s for sure!
Definitely a bee's knees, my friends. But with all that exhaustion, I'm pretty sure you're kinda feelin bloody "Hank Marvin"! Hihi🤗😍🇵🇭🇺🇸🇬🇧

I bet u have'nt seen more other temples where old monks are present, also some jewish temple.
In Thailand we saw a lot of temples with monks present but haven’t seen many Synagogues that’s for sure!
There are in Philippines, but prefer private, their are also orphanage manage by taoist/buddhist monks and orphanage of christian monastery, filipino jews synagogues are hidden in public, me product of refuge migrants long time ago(history) 💖🇵🇭👍
Liked and watched!
