I hope they come out with camera update soon for the s24u.
The cameras are massively improved over last years. They removed the over saturated colors and over sharpening to give a more natural look. Sure to a random person they may think thats worse but in reality thats an extreme improvement. Samsung is finally making their cameras much better

The usefulness of Samsung MST probably depends on which country you're in. I haven't swiped a payment card with a magnetic strip in over 15 years. The last time I swiped a card was with a loyalty/store card but now these have also moved to digital QR/barcodes or NFC based cards. Although Samsung MST is relatively newer tech, the magstripe/swipe card readers that it communicates with at payment terminals/checkouts is very old tech (introduced in 1970s). Hence it has been replaced with newer tech like chip & pin and NFC in many countries. This year in Europe some payment card companies will begin removing the magnetic strip from their cards. MST might have had a longer life if Samsung made the technology non-proprietary and allowed other phone manufacturers to use it.
Yes very true. In the US when Samsung removed it, was a big deal. Three years later NFC technology has finally become almost ubiquitous, but credit cards with magnetic strip are still very common and not all terminals will do chip readers either. I’m still grumpy about it 😜
I've been using it for months now. I like how the black titanium body is not easily scratched. The AI features make a lot of things easier-so easy to copy any text/number from anything even picture by using the circle to search. The built-in photo editor is very handy and practical...far ahead compared to that of the iPhone (I own an iPhone 15 Pro Max). The bigger, bright, squarish display is brilliant. I always avoid using my iPhone to watch Netflix and such because the curved display makes the experience less enjoyable, unlike the S24 Ultra's. Just my personal experience with it.
Circle to Search translation is my most used feature so far - translation was never easier - no more bixby vision, foto taking and then analysing - just pretend on making a foto and circle
Good review, you pointed out good things I don't think of. Is true I used Samsung pay a lot at one point because of the MFT. Unfortunately they got rid of the MFT along with SD card. Still good phone over all.

I use the AI for photos all the time, I do love it, now I don't have to go to another app. I miss the camera onthe 23 ultra. I am a little disappointed with the 24 camera. I am a basic photographer. I'm going to compare some some photos soon. I don't have the 23 anymore. But took stunning sunset photos in Carmel. Even sold some.
Samsung should have put a 50Mpix 3x zoom to cover the 5x range, and then also put a 50Mpix 10x to also cover the 20x range. While they're at it, put a 50Mpix on the 0.6x, and put them all horizontal across the top of the phone like a pixel so the phone sits evenly and doesn't rock on a table. That's what they need for the S25!
I bought the S24 Ultra and had to return it after 2 weeks because I hated the design. Instead, I swap it with the S24 Plus since they have the same display & refresh rate
There is a very annoying bug in this pho ne rn. if you use gesture for navigation, swipe up to exit the app and then quickly swipe up and hold to open task manager, it glitches. It is very annoying. Other than that i got no problems with this phone.
Coming the s23 the s24 is worth the upgrade , I dropped my 23 from only 13 inches with a case and it broke , this s24 I dropped from 4 feet and it survived, also the flat screen is way better
Can someone comment about how long Samsung supports its phones? I had an S2 and it was essentially obsolete a month after getting it as they wouldn’t keep the OS updated and android apps wouldn’t support the previous generation of OS. So just wondering if things have gotten better. I have an old iOS phone and it gets updates and apps for years.
I also had an s2 but I don't remember the device being obsolete a month after, about the s24 lineup it'll get 7 years of OS and security updates, after that time you can continue to use the device or do whatever you like with it.
@@alexdaraujo At the time, AT&T put the blame on Samsung, and Samsung put the blame on AT&T. Sounds like things are better now. I use Google for many things, so Android would probably be better for me.

I have the S23 Ultra and love using the AI photo edit features as I like to find out what it would do, yes it doesn't get it right first time but with more AI learning it will get better. Only thing I wouldn't really use is live translate as I don't travel out of the UK but handy to know it's there
Love your handwriting ❤
No microSD card again makes it a skip for me. Sticking with my S20 for another year
Almost all Flagships don't have micro SD, you will keep skipping
Tbh I went from note20 ultra to S23 ultra with 1tb storage and it's plenty trust. I don't even notice the SD card is gone anymore
@@nigels6786I also Samsung type c flash drive
If micro sd is ur main priority.. Then U will never buy a flagship again mate😅
Get a Sony phone, they like suckers who care about SD cards and headphone jacks. Make sure you pay your $1500 for a 2 year supported phone.
Hi
I am also using S24 Ultra
Check it's Display in Sunlight and How much time it's good visible in Sunlight ???
Wish i could have the newest Samsung. I had to downgrade to a pixel 7a since I'm on a budget 😕 i do however like my pixel 7a currently
Couldn't just compare the battery to your old s22 ultra?
Wow, didn't realize how good that anti-reflective coating is, thx!!
Its matter how i insert the S-pen back to the phone? Bottom upside or with the face down?
On s24 ultra.
The 5 times camera is a much higher resolution. Samsung Pay is better than Google Pay...
5:04 did anyone noticed the zoom effect when she goes from 0.6 to 5x zoom?
the ultra is awesome
I'm Monte! Dog has quite a cool name i must say
My text translate wont work. It says unsupported language when i try to convert English to Spanish
I upgraded from the S22 to the S24, no regrets. I also switched to Google Wallet because Samsung dropped MST (which I also loved).
the shadow eraser and object eraser are pretty old I have it on my 5 year old note 10 running android 12
I went years without a screen protector on my S10 and didn't get any scratches. Made it a month with S24U before it scratched.
Hi..Any links for both Cases you showed ?.TIA
Linked in description!
I must be Blind..Thnx
Lot of issues like ( Screen quality - Green line, camera quality & heat issues ) .. do you have any such issues
Dex,s pen, display, titanium frame, up to 1tb storage! Nuf said! 🫡 And watching this video on my S24 Ultra in titanium violet 1tb storage ❗
Yep
Still love my s23u. I can't see me going to a s24u just for a little less glare...
S24U is really useful, but the camera is not that great.
S7 still works for me. 🤷🏻♂️
I bought the S24 Ultra and had to return it after 2 weeks because I hated the design. Instead, I swap it with the S24 Plus since they have the same display & refresh rate
Circle to search is quite useful, Pixel 6 Pro over here.
There is a very annoying bug in this pho ne rn. if you use gesture for navigation, swipe up to exit the app and then quickly swipe up and hold to open task manager, it glitches. It is very annoying. Other than that i got no problems with this phone.
The jumping effect when you change camara was key to NOT buy it
The screen details were announced months ago when the phone came out. Maybe they’re just emphasizing it more now?
The video outlining the construction etc only came out at the start of April but yeah - definitely emphasizing more now I agree
Will the anti-glare work even if i use a screen protector?
Nope
Coming the s23 the s24 is worth the upgrade , I dropped my 23 from only 13 inches with a case and it broke , this s24 I dropped from 4 feet and it survived, also the flat screen is way better
How much SR
Can someone comment about how long Samsung supports its phones? I had an S2 and it was essentially obsolete a month after getting it as they wouldn’t keep the OS updated and android apps wouldn’t support the previous generation of OS. So just wondering if things have gotten better. I have an old iOS phone and it gets updates and apps for years.
I also had an s2 but I don't remember the device being obsolete a month after, about the s24 lineup it'll get 7 years of OS and security updates, after that time you can continue to use the device or do whatever you like with it.
They support 7 years of major OS updates,
which is the highest even apple does not support more than 5-6 years of OS updates
@@alexdaraujo At the time, AT&T put the blame on Samsung, and Samsung put the blame on AT&T. Sounds like things are better now. I use Google for many things, so Android would probably be better for me.
I have an s23 ultra and my camera is terrible. I really hope they done a better job on s24 ultra..
S24 Ultra Sunlight Display Issue is there, Have you faced it ???
Check your phone How much time the display is Visible in Sunlight ???
WTF? they got rid of mst? I still have a s20 fe and was hoping to upgrade, but not without mst. Why? Does that mean I have to shop at places that have a samsung wallet terminal? I've never seen places that I shop at with samsung anything.
Samsung wallet should work with any NFC enabled terminal (tab to pay). When you see Google pay or Apple pay, it should work for Samsung.
@@yky1628 I like using my phone on ANY card terminal. Which is why I love mst. Not specific nfc Google or Apple pay
I use a screen protector and it completely takes away the benefit of the non reflective screen. I'm not risking scratches tho
Samsung make an anti reflective screen protector.
@@willbuschmann I've read the reviews and it's apparently terrible
Omg, Samsung won't stop paying I see ...
I use the AI photo editing suite all the time.
As an s24u I am bit appaled but the overall development cycle of the phone. Like the camera software is really half baked and this will continue till eoy and we will just move on
Samsung authorised service center when I took the phone for small software reinstallation issue they told mother board problem
Rs 9000 which I solved just for Rs 600 samsung 💯 my trust 💯 they have cheated me.
The best thing about this review is her accent.
I wish they kept MST 😬
