Satoshi has such a free-spirit...(and not bad hula-hands! LoL...) We always miss the place we leave...(and when we come back that feeling returns for where we just left...always the same...) Philadelphia you lived? Me, too...still...(Family from Hawai’i tho...)
Aloha e Shinichi, I know what you mean I too love Hawaii, and I feel that Hawaii is home in my heart. I have never lived there but I have been there over time times now and I have visited all the islands of Hawaii and Oahu is my favourite. I love all the hikes I can do there, and all the delicious food. I love the fact that walking the streets alone is beautiful enough. I hope that you will be able to move back to Hawaii one day, and for me to work as a nurse in Hawaii. Mahalo Nui Loa 🤙
Oahu is just an hour flight from the Big Island and you captured the best of Kapiolani Park. The closer into the beach though, you will find the homeless encampments near the public bathroom, but that is city living. When I was looking for a home over the ocean after living in New York and then San Francisco for over 20 years, it was the Big island of Hawaii that I chose to call, home, and not Oahu. We are far enough away from the hustle and bustle of tourism and I grow all my own fruit and vegetables right on the property and am still able to see the sunsets over the ocean. I love Tokyo and can always fly direct from the Big Island now, when I want to visit either there or Kyoto and the gracious people of Japan with all it’s culinary delights! mahalo for highlighting Hawaii🌴🌴🌴🌴
I finally have time to sit down and binge-watch you guys's videos, I've been so busy I haven't been able to keep up the park looks awesome and I hope you guys have been doing well. 🙂
Hi Shinichi & Satoshi!!! Super chilled out video, I love it! Unfortunately when we're in Hawai`i we barely have time to stop & breathe let alone walk around so tyvm for letting me see Waikiki through ur videos. Keep 'em coming! Love, love, love!
This chill time with you is very relaxing. Even the wind blowing was good for me. The park is so huge and looks like a wonderful place to enjoy yourself. Satoshi is crazy as ever. I love it when he let's out his inner child. Love you both. JC
Ha ha, you 2 Crack me up. You said "This is what Hawaii does to him as he is dancing in the background. Yes I am loving these videos. And your sisters also. Ps..... your hair still looks great even in the Hawaiian heat. Love you guys. Have a safe trip home.
Kapiolani park was so beautiful, and it was so nice of the ducks to greet you at the pond! I'm glad you had some time to relax, and enjoy the beautiful view of Diamond Head. Satoshi was wonderful, flying past us and then doing the hula! I think it would be nice if you two could either stay longer on another trip, or even move there at some point. You both look relaxed and happy when you are there. Thanks for another great video, and sending hugs and love your way! :-)
Shinichi you guys really shared a lot of the wonderful things about Oahu. I have lived here all of my life and wouldn't think about moving anywhere else except maybe Japan. Did you get to go hike up Diamond Head? They actually charge a fee, now, not like the old days. There's a great place to eat just up Monssarat Ave called Pioneer. It's owned by a Japanese family (I think from Japan) and the food is great! I'll be in Osaka in October! Can't wait!
Aloha brother! I absolutely loved this video and always always look forward to all of yours and brother Satoshi’s vlogs!! ❤️ Watching this video makes me realize how much I love Hawaii. I was just asking my cousin how much tickets are from the mainland. Yeah..... a little too steep for us at this moment-while Josh is still in college. We will incorporate a few days of visiting Hawaii, when we visit Japan in a few years. Oh, guess what I’m going to do, starting next Wednesday evening? I’m going to go and take hula lessons. ☺️ Thanks for sharing Kapiolani Park with us! I’m sooooo looking forward to all of your future videos, whether they’re on this channel or over on TabiEats’ channel. Love you both so much!
Mindy's Mom Hi sister! I'm so glad you are going to take hula lessons! That sounds wonderful! It also sounds like a good idea to enjoy some time in Hawaii in a few years, when you go to Japan. It will cut down on jet lag, plus give you another place to enjoy on your vacation. Sending lots of love and hugs to you, sister!
Erin Uber......Hi sister! ❤️ I’m so excited! It’s every Wednesday night for an hour. As long as I’m having a good day physically-I’ll be there. Yes, you’re so right about the breaking down that long flight. I cannot wait. Sending you lots of love and many hugs! I’m so sorry that I’ll miss you all at tonights’ live feed! ♥️
I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much green there was in Tokyo (loved Shinjuku Gyoen). And I did discover a more natural (almost wild) area beside the Meiji Shrine. Although the shrine area was very busy the day I was there, I was almost alone in the woods alongside, so maybe you could go there Shinichi when you need some peace and quiet?
This is Cat from Brooklyn NY!🐱 YO! THANKS! I absolutely loved your video! You guys can be so funny! Anyway I wish that you guys would do some sort of collaboration with Mark Wiens. Maybe the next time you go to Hawaii? Or maybe in Japan? Thailand? ❤Brooklyn NY?😉 🌼🍎🗽🐅💖☄☮🐱
Hey shinichi You guys are back now!! ? Looking forward to see you and John meet up!!!! Yes Hawaii is paradise true but u can't compare the food in Japan!!!!!👌
But your hair always looks flawless! So glad you were able to get some time to decompress and enjoy paradise. And a wild Satoshi appears in the background! Can’t wait for the plate lunch videos. Thanks for all the wonderful vlogs!
ALOHA from Hawaii we love you BOTH
One of my favorite hang-out when I go to Oahu, I just enjoy the view.
I grew up there and lived there until my mid-20s, and I'm looking forward to retiring back home there.
satoshi you are so cute when you fly, you make shinichi laugh even when he doesnt seem "up"
Thank you for sharing these Hawaii video's. It is my dream to move there, sooner than later.
Brilliant! Very down to earth commentary and very informative. Get a good feel of Honolulu from it. Thanks. Greetings from Australia!

This is beautiful! I've forgotten what it was like to live there. I'm actually considering moving back to the big island.
You look so happy and relaxed! Hawaii definitely agrees with you. :)
I always enjoy tagging along with you, having you point out the interesting spots and listening to your soothing voice. Mahalo and Aloha!
Hahaha! Real cool video. You chilling and Satoshi clowning around in the back! Thanks again, looking forward to those videosl

Satoshi was being over the top kawaii in the backround. Do you two like to go dancing?
Haha I used to love going out to dance. Satoshi prefers to dance when no one is watching.
