Thank you! Sometimes for those of us with less experience using watercolours it’s fantastic to have someone who can explain and demonstrate with clarity rather than saying suitable for beginners and expectations are so complex you know its not the case ! Books are a prime example of unrealistic expectations from the author who assumes their opinions are meeting all needs ! They dont ! Thanks again.
Feeling is an indispensable element for painting, if you have a good feeling and creativity will give birth to beautiful works of art. The way you instruct is also very detailed, and I learned a lot from this video, just mastering watercolor will make painting easy.
Thank you for posting something about the basics. Although I am aware of the perspective, this particular tutorial offers me an idea to do multiple paintings at the same time in different colors and varying the amounts of water and pressure I use with the brush. they could be cut up and put on the front of simple greeting cards. I’m looking forward to trying this. Thank you.💙🙏🌵
Thank you Harriet. 😊
You are so welcome!

Glad it was helpful!
Loved it
Thanks Angela!
Would love to see landscapes, especially with minimal drawing
Sounds good! I have a few in my landscapes playlist. Check them out!
Hallo, danke für deine tollen und inspirierenden Anleitungen.
Welches Aquarell Papier nutzt du?
Liebe Grüße aus Bayern
Thanks! I always use cold pressed 300gsm paper
This was perfect! Is the perspective series on your UA-cam channel?
Have a look in the landscapes playlist
Also, I struggle with depth, like when I’m painting a rock 🪨 or a cliff so it doesn’t look so flat. Is that addressed anywhere on your YT channel?
We have a few short videos on shadow and shape in the quick fix playlist, that's a good place to start
What watercolorpaper do you use for your youtube tutorials?
I use 300gsm cold pressed Daler Rowney
