The CompanY was always in awe of the power, talent, and fire of Christine “Flash” Blando.
Since 1984, when we were still the Ateneo College Glee Club, Christine's skill and magic in Jim Paredes’ musical BAYANI left us mesmerized. Flash brilliantly portrayed Sisa!
Our last collaboration was at The CompanY’s 15th Anniversary Concert, Company 15, at the Music Museum. Christine choreographed our opening number. The concert, directed by the late Floy Quintos, featured wardrobes by the late Danilo Franco, and was line produced by our late album producer Margot M. Gallardo.
It's painful to see so many of our dear friends pass on, but we are eternally grateful for the deep union of creative souls we experienced. We had the privilege of working with the best.
