Your car channel really put a smile on my face, so good to see a young petrol head in full 'Max Power" mode running and subsequently tuning a V8 Supercharged Jag to make it sound better and then giggling like a big kid every time you nail the accelerator. I don't know if it was planned or it was a coincidence but the irony of you stood by your fire breathing supercharged V8 Jag while a boring EV sits on charge behind you was not lost on a fellow petrol head like myself 😀

Just caught up with this one. Glad you only just changed the intake pipe!! The offer of a look at the F Pace SVR still stands if you fancy getting your socks blown off.
I’ve replied but I think UA-cam detected I had tried to put my email address in albeit disguised! Anyway if you can suggest how to get in touch to follow up we can move forward.

Caldoofy intake has been proven to create power losses on the dyno and the stainless steel construction raises IAT1 and causes the ECU to pull timing and boost. This has been observed multiple times on multiple cars. That intKe absolutely DOES NOT increase power by 15-20hp. It’s more like 4-7hp and only in the mid range. No peak power was observed on the dyno, just a small bump in the mid range. This $20 stainless steel exhaust pipe is actually a horrible mod that hurts performance and raises intake temperatures.
@Darcysdrive We have already done a ton of testing and have videos comparing the two. Unfortunately no further testing is being done as we collected data from about 5 cars over the past 4 years. Nearly a dozen first hand cases where cars either made 10+ hp more with our intake, or sent us data logs showing better IAT and more timing and boost due to the ecu seeing lower IAT. I will state that I am speaking in regards to the 76mm or 3” stainless steel “Intake” that Caldoofy makes. We have not tested the 90mm or 3.5” aluminum “intake” sold by Caldoofy. There are several flaws to the design that create turbulence such as where the J-Pipe and plenum meet. One opening is round and the other is oval. The caldoofy intake paired with the range rover plenum made 14whp in the mid range and nothing at peak rpm at the top. That was on a car with headers, exhaust, pulley, tune, etc. The screamer intake made 20whp in the mid range and carried 12whp to redline on a stock car. The oem plenum design is poor for making power, it’s also cast aluminum and heats up faster than cast iron. There’s a bottleneck at the back where it flattens and turns down 90* into the TB. I would highly recommend looking into better designs or at least moving up to Caldoofy’s 90mm aluminum J-Pipe over the 76mm stainless one at the minimum.
Where is you evidence to support this unfounded claim? Your pipe is same diameter but made from aluminum which conducts heat better than stainless steel and therefore does not insulate against under engine bay heat. Very unprofessional comment.

Thank you so much, I didn’t even notice the EV. They’re so boring they’re invisible to me 😂 V8s forever!!!
As a fellow XJR owner, you never stop admiring them 😊
The song in the background has a very "the Cure" sound to it!
its that engine - the 4.2 s/c is just a gem. Currently 24k miles in 2 1/2 years in my 2008 Super 8 Daimler.
Amazing! Had any issues with it?

damn, a 2008 Super 8 Daimler with such low mileage is rare af
I’ve just watched this twice, epic sound and looks great!
That XJR sounds the bizz now
Transformed it, just needs that supercharger pulley now & cold air intake, flying machine.
Mate that car sounds wicked, great investment.
That looks way better and sounds awesome way better. Also love the sunroof ❤
Glad you like it 👍🏼
That sounds criminally addictive. You’re going to destroy your fuel economy but have a Cheshire Cat grin👍👍👍👍😊😊😊

Sounds like the dog's Bzzzzcks. Brilliant drive by sounds a bit like a little Merlin engined Spitfire. Keep em coming. Cheers.
Thanks, will do! 😁
Yes! I
thought this too.
Very aviation like.
..
And airplane engines were supercharged as well....🤔
Now that's character!
You guys are funny. Love the sound. Your power steering has a leak, hope you find it and repair it soon.
that car sounds soooooo good!!
Oh my! It's singing now! 🎶❤️
The single pipe forcing more air out and create more power.
Is that your dad? He is cool as hell
It is indeed 😎
Makes me want one too!
(The intake, that is…) 😂👊🏻
That made me subscribe.
Awesome, welcome to the channel 👍🏼
Sounds AMAZING 😍
Thanks Willie! 😁💯

So what's next? The LSD from Tom Lenthall? Or the S/C upgrade kit from JagSTR2004?
Damn, makes me want another Jaguar again. Jaguar should have just bought the rights to your video instead of the rubbish they came out with recently.
Where I can but that pipe mate ? Great channel 👍

🔥🔥🔥
You have to wonder why Jaguar didn’t do this in the first place !
Jaguar spend thousands trying to keep the SC noise unobtrusive with that pipe and coating the SC blades
That supercharger whine Was VERY loud as the car passed by?
What does it do to the gallon.
About 20mpg
Glad to see you boys are OK, what's going on with the bike chanhel? No content for a while, car sounds awesome by the way.
Thanks buddy, we had a week off but new video is available now on the bike channel 😊

This is interesting to hear, it looks as though you also create intakes? Would you be interested in providing me one for a video about this?
Interesting, can you buy Banshee intakes in the UK?

Just on eBay

So what did you do with the valve cover breather pipe?
Plugged it into the new intake
Installed. Why do Brits take the long way round saying “I fitted such and such to my blah blah instead of just saying INSTALLED?
