  • Hi all.
Its a bit of a long one, but in this video i show how i remap the function keys on my Loksound V4 fitted class 168, to make it easier to use on the layout.
This is done using a Lokprogrammer.
Im coming up with a standardised function list on my fleet of passenger units which is roughly as follows:
    F1 - sound/engine on
    F2 - horn high tone
    F3 - horn low tone
    F4 - brake sounds
    F5 - doors open/close
    F6 - station sounds
    F7 - station sounds
    F8 - compressor/random sound
    F9 - flange squeel
    F10 - AUX 1
    F11 - AUX 2
F12 and above, depends on whats available.
For Locos, its mostly the same, although F5-F7 are things such as coupling sounds ect, F8 is drivelock ect.
This means you dont need to refer to the function sheet all the time, as they are generally the same accross the fleet, meaning you can spend more time operating trains!
