когда я захотела котёнка, мама , сказала, если увидишь на улице приноси домой, так и сделала, объясняла, что ухаживать/кормить/лечить надо, им тоже уход нужен, а так понятия ноль было/вот ноль, 30 лет прожила кошечка, очень умная была

Моему племяннику подарили щенка смесь лайки и хаски. Тоже слезы лил как подарили, а потом всё пошло по обычному пути. этот щенок чуть подрос и отдали его во двор частного дома их бабушке. Для меня всё было предсказуемо. Родители дают всё что захочет их сынок и неважно что он и не будет за ним ухаживать, он же ведь так давно хотел щенка, а сами родители и думать не думали как они будут в квартире и с работой с ним управляться. Безответственность и потребительское отношение к животному как к игрушке.

@@alienuser3583 Ну, что сказать! Как нужно отказами (взять животного в дом) довести ребёнка до слёз! А у нас с этим проблем Нет, от слова Совсем! Хочет дитя животное, значит возьмём! Поэтому у многих, помимо собак и кошек, есть аквариумы с рыбками, черепашками, клетки с птицами, ёжики скребут пол коготками и вместе с кошками с одной миски пьют молоко!

You can't do much about it, no matter what, The kitten has just Been separated from their siblings and their Mother, taken to a new home, so no matter how many people there are, The kitten Will be terrified at first.
All My Cats have Been brought home as kittens and there have Been a variety in number of people present during those times, and The kitten has always Been scared out of their mind.
The Right way is to let them be in their box with The door open for them, and let them come out and explore once they are ready. But showing them a bunch of Kids under supervision isnt bad either, it teaches The kitten early on to get along with Kids and noise. Wich is crucial to do in a family that has a lot of children.

I remember my Da got first kitten -a rescue- 60 years ago after a trauma. He saved the kitty, and me with that act of kindness. And I 'm watching THIS post- weeping with joy snuggling my 20th rescue fur baby, Calico Sassy the IV who my daughter rescued for me, after my SassyIII died during CoVid. SassyFace 4 is now a certified support animal, loving, keen, and SO funny, she SAVES ME every day.

@@peanut-z8d possibly six children, but I’m guessing that since it says the surprise was for his “granddaughter” then maybe the children are cousins rather than siblings. There seems to be three still using pacifiers/dummies/soothers and I’d imagine that if you were the parent of all six, you’d try to wean them off their pacifier before than next baby is born 🍼👩🏼🍼👶🏻🧒🏼👧🏾👦🏿

My twins were two years old when we introduced them to our new 7 week old kitten. He lived to 18. It has instilled in my children a respect and lifelong love of animals. A little supervision and good parenting for both the kids and pets goes a long way. 🙄
...and vice-versa,you could say a kitten is gifted with a kid/friend/buddy.
