Wow,i am exhausted just watching.I see why you do Christmas and Halloween on alternate years.Very festive and alot of work that shows up big time in your video. My parents never decorated much for Halloween but did quite a bit for Christmas. I like both holidays and enjoy watching the passion people have for the two holidays.Nice work indeed.
Thank You. I loved every room. There is so much inspiration. It makes me want to take vacation from work so I can put my Halloween stuff out. I can’t imagine the time, planning and work it takes to decorate your home. I appreciate u sharing via home tour. 🎃
This is absolutely fantastic, so stylish and classy, you've made your whole gorgeous collection look seamless, such a treat to watch, must say it's given me some inspiration to change my whole Halloween decor to something like yours, well done fantastic job and effort, ohh and thankyou.
I have a permanent SMILE while watching this!!! I look so forward to your Halloween AND Christmas home tours!!! Just in awe! How fun to live there or be invited to a party! SO MAGICAL!!! THANK YOU, for REMINDING all of us of our child like spirit! To wonder and be in awe and amazement! IMAGINATION AND WHIMSY are Soooo good for the soul! THANK YOU, again and again! Just Awesome!!!~Leslie from MO
WOW!!! The best Halloween display I have ever seen!!! I love it all and I can appreciate all of your hard work! I also do seasonal decorating inside and out and love doing it! Happy Halloween and thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous displays!!!!
Wow! I can’t imagine how much time and effort you put into decorating your house. So much detail!! And I thought I loved Halloween ☺️😉 This is awesome! Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed watching.
INCREDIBLE HALLOWEEN MASTERPIECE! SO ENJOYABLE TO SEE! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR TIME,ENERGY and "SPIRIT" in creating this Ghoulish wonderland! Scott W. , CA
Wow,wow, wow, you are certainly a fan of Halloween and you have done amazing job decorating your house. I bet all your friends and family love coming to your house for the season.thanks for sharing ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Glad to hear your child enjoys the video. We throw a little kid's (10 and younger) pizza/trick-or-treat party. Kids come dressed up and we put about 25 candy bowls throughout the house and they "trick-or-treat".
You definitely win ther prize for the most Halloween under one roof! Great collection of Halloween and those comic books what a treasure! Thanks for sharing! 👍🧡🖤🎃🕸
Just Wow!! What an effort and hard work you've put in there! But it pays off, the result is fantastic!!! The best Halloween decorations I've ever seen. Thanks for the upload. By the way my favorite is the "Halloween tree" Never seen one before, very original and great ornaments.
First of all let me tell you I envi your big house that you can have so much decorations, without looking crowder and also I envy your good taste, jajajajaja love, love, your house, I truly enjoy your video, thanks a lot.
Patty, thanks for your comment. Prior to meeting my wife, I owned a relatively small starter home built around 1960. Low ceilings, small rooms. My wife and I were independently Halloween and Christmas collectors, so when we met all hell broke loose! One thing that was clear was we had to move, and our #1 requirement was a house with an open floor plan and high ceilings. We obviously met this goal!
Beautiful !! The detail to everything. Love everything from the villages to Day of the Dead room, etc. Also, that Super Friends lunch box, I had one when I was in Elementary school. That brought back memories. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! I appreciate the time and effort it took you to do this beautiful decor! Love that tree/ shelf you have for the small village. Well, I think they are small. Great job!
Helene, thanks for your comment. The village items on the black tree/shelf unit are regular-size Lemax pieces. That tree probably goes up about 10 feet.
I so look forward to your videos! Your home is amazing and the way you showcase your collections is really great! I wish I had half of those collectibles, I love seasonal decor. Halloween is only second to Christmas and with both you hit it out of the park!!! Thank you as always for sharing with us! Happy Halloween!!!🧡🧡🧡🎃🎃🎃🍁🍂😈😱☠💀👻
Everything!!! But Oh my goodness the bedroom! (Except for the two skinny guys ) I truly love Halloween and enjoyed your home so very much. Thank you for sharing.🎃
RJ, thanks for watching. The spooky amusement park was new in that part of the house. We used to have a pool table there but got rid of it, which opened up a large space to expand the amusement park display. My favorite part of the house is the Day of the Dead stuff in the master bedroom.
Totally wonderful again Dave😊. I still say you have the best Halloween collection I have ever seen. You have some of the most unusual pieces. I know I will watch this many times. Watching your video is a great way to start off October. I am still working on my decorating so it will be a little while before I do my Halloween tour. Happy Fall and Happy Halloween to you and your wife🎃🎃💀👻💀🎃🎃
Jean, glad you liked the video. To be honest, I was not happy with it. I bought a camera stabilizer unit because I wanted to do a video walking around without a lot of shake. The unit worked well for that, but reviews of the item said is takes some practice to get used to it and they were right. I moved around too quickly and especially when panning the camera. It's our Christmas year and I am hoping to have some time to practice with it. I think my Halloween video from two years ago is much better. I also did not have much time to edit the video -- we have had a very busy year. I am looking forward to retirement, but that is probably a good 5-10 years away for me. My wife is thinking about next year. We look forward to seeing your fabulous Halloween and Christmas collections this year!
Hey Joe, thanks for your nice comment. We are doing well. Hope you and your wife are doing good. Looking forward to your holiday videos. This is our Christmas year so we are in the thick of it! The house looks like we are moving with boxes and half-built displays everywhere.
BEAUTIFUL!!!! 🎃🎃🎃 truly a Halloween Wonderland. I can only imagine all the labor that was put into this. Truly appreciated and thank you for sharing. HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🌻🌻🌻🌺🌺😀♥️♥️♥️
Sophie, good to hear from you. We are decorating for Halloween, too, but are scaling back this year and are way behind. Usually, we would be done by October 1st. For a number of months we have been dealing with significant health issues with ageing parents that has taken up a considerable amount of our free time. I plan on shooting video but I don't see doing it until after Halloween, so I will likely save the footage for a video next year. We are probably putting up about 60% -- none of the Halloween village displays this year. Sadly, we will not be having any of our usual parties -- just too much going on. Plus with continued COVID issues...
@@Ho-Ho-Boo Thank You for your reply. I completely understand about the aging parents, I've had it myself. I was pregnant with my last child when my mother was in the final stages of dementia and Parkinson's disease. It was extremely stressful and draining to see your parent slowly decline (she was diagnosed when I was 17 and died when I was 28) she died 6 days after my son was born. I want to say to you just enjoy the decor you have put up, you are under no pressure or obligation to do anything more than you can handle. I would also like to say, Christmas brings me great comfort (I know we are taking about Halloween bit Christmas is my favourite!) Sometimes through my hard times, believe it or not, I have put your Christmas videos on to cheer myself up. I feel so sad you are now experiencing the same difficult times with things regarding our parents and the virus etc but would also like to reiterate how much joy your videos bring, whether you realise it or not. Lots of love and best wishes to you and your family from across the pond in the UK xx
I've been looking forward to this video! I love all of your fabulous collections. The pottery/dish pieces are probably my favorite but its so hard to choose a favorite. I see one area and think " this is my favorite" and then you pan over to another area and I'm like a kid in a toy store, I'm like "no that's my favorite" and so it goes on like this for the entire video! LOL
@@Ho-Ho-Boo understandable. Unfortunately all our plans have gone the same way, I am sat in a costume and my children have no motivation to dress up because we have no where to go. I am in the UK and am sat waiting for our prime minister to announce we are going back into isolation yet again until Dec 2nd. So I'm now wondering on our Christmas plans and whether or not I can get presents in time now the shops will be shutting! Its a sad time for us all. Take care Dave and I will soon be switching to watch your Christmas videos instead ✨☃️🎅🎄🎁
I Just Love Love Love this so much!.I am always so excited to see when you put up a video! Your collections and decor is on my wish list. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS WITH US. I have watched this several times and every time someone comes over I show them this video.Ive made my husband and kids watch it idk how many times.lol I do have a couple questions if you dont mind, where and how do you store all.your stuff? And When you decorate do.you have a plan as to where things are going or do you just go with it? Whenever I pull my stuff out I put it in the middle of my floor and then I get so overwhelmed! I struggle to get things to come together?? AGAIN ,THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS AMAZING TOUR WITH US, HOPE TO SEE YOUR CHRISTMAS, I LOVE THAT JUST AS MUCH🧡🍊,YOUR FRIEND FROM N.C.
Tammy, glad to hear you liked the video. Almost everything is stored in an unfinished basement. Foam bases for the village displays are wrapped in plastic and stored in the garage. We don't formally plan things out, but we talk about general ideas. We try to change things up a bit each time we put it up, but nonetheless most of it goes in the same place because we have found over the years what works best. For instance, the "wall of spiders and webs" in the first room (entryway/living room) basically has to go there because that is the only large wall where it will fit. The Halloween you see was actually from last year. We are doing Christmas this year. However, doubtful I will have time during the holidays to shoot and edit a video. I have gotten into the habit of shooting the videos after the relevant holiday and editing the footage during the summer when I have more time. So more likely than not, this year's Christmas displays will be posted next year. It all depends on how busy I am at work.
This is my first time seeing this is a warehouse full of fun I love haloween as a child even though I don't do the hunted houses anymore I can't wait for haloween to come
Penny, glad you liked the video. Yes we made that tree. The platform levels are removable plywood sheets cut in the design you see painted black. If I recall correctly, the "trunk" of the tree are three 2"x6"'s, about 9' long or so, which are screwed together. We then had to build a base for the trunk to sit in. The cool thing is when you join the three 2'x6"'s it leaves a space in the middle to drop a couple of those electrical cords with three plugs spaced along the cord (generally used to run up the pole of a Christmas tree. You drill a hole through one of the boards where the plugs are and fish out the plug to use for lighting the pieces.
I wish I had even half this stuff I'm literally in complete awe so much so I keep commenting I just randomly stumbled on this video and it's like my dream Halloween in one video like omg 😍😍😍👻👻👻👻🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕸️🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️🕷️🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Glad you liked the video. Both my wife and independently collected before meeting each other so combining two independent collections added significantly to the size of our collection. We've been collecting for about 25 years. A lot of after-Halloween sales, coupons and sample sales at the local merchandise mart went into putting the collection together(lol!) And time, of course.
Wow👻 you did a great job. I think I would sell my soul to the devil for those villages😈 I also go all out for Halloween. It's definitely my favorite holiday. Take care and TFS

OMG YOU HAVE NO LIFE!!! 😝 I kid I kid! SERIOUSLY SO INSPIRING! Most impressed with the Xmas/Halloween trees!!! The one with the wooden levels-did you make that yourself? Now I know what to do to ‘recycle’ my crappy fake tree!!! This also makes me feel like an amateur while thinking I had a lot and did a lot HA! Have a seat will ya-you’re making the rest of us look bad!!! Bwahaha 😂 HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃 THANKX🙏🏻❤️🌟
Linda, well you might be partly right about the "no life" comment. We do spend a lot of time putting up, living with, and taking down Halloween and Christmas (lol!!!) But we do alternate years between the two holidays which helps. We did make the village tree you mentioned. See my reply to Penny Reese if you are interested in how it was made.
Dave T. THANKS DAVE! Plywood and black spray paint? Don’t tell me you hand paint coz I’ll come for you!!! Lol 😂 just in case lemme say omg! Seriously tho, I get it, when you love something so much one can spend countless hours having the best time, look up at the clock and exclaim ‘it’s 3am??? Where’d the time go?’ Can’t wait for the Xmas decor so I can drool...❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for your kind comment. Hard to say how long it takes? My wife and I both work full-time jobs so we do it on weekends and evenings. Generally start around the beginning of August with the goal of being done by October 1st.
Wow! Amazing collection. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit-thanks for sharing!!

you somehow managed to make Halloween super cozy and I love it, awesome display.
Hey thanks. I think the trick is we don't do the gory, "Spirit Halloween Store" type displays. We aim towards child-friendly, fun Halloween.

This shit is goals and like I'm obessed with your collection
This is epic ....how long does this take ....however long , it’s so worth it ....just amazing 😉 thanks for sharing this .
Thanks for your kind comment. Hard to say how long it takes? My wife and I both work full-time jobs so we do it on weekends and evenings. Generally start around the beginning of August with the goal of being done by October 1st.
