Someone unmentioned by the video is that glass seems to be the material least affected by 035's corrosive liquid.this meaning 035 may be intentionally preserving the glass to be looked at and higher the chance of getting a new host.

I read an SCP story where the spirit in 035 claimed to be a jester in an Italian court centuries ago until, due to a long series of incidents relating loosely to the Scarlet King, he was banished to inhabit his mask. He spent so much time studying the mask in an attempt to be free of it that he ended up literally writing the book used to craft Dr. Bright’s medallion, aka SCP-963.

Nope, he is a godlike being from the kingdom of Alegadda. The ruler of Alegadda is The Hanged King. Everyone in Alegadda wears a mask that is forbidden to take off. The kingdom is actually a different world and that looks like an old italian festival.

Heard a story that 035 once rejected a host. A D-Class, listed as extremely dangerous and borderline insane, was offered privileges if he put the mask on. Immediately the mask demanded then pleaded to be removed from the man. When asked why by the lead doctor it said, I am familiar with pain and suffering. Insanity and death. But whatever lies in this mans soul is more than I can attempt to deal with. It literally is hurting all of my existence. Once removed the D-Class asked if he failed because he fell asleep. But commented on the wonderful dream he had about his father.

For anyone that wants to know why scp-035 causes people to commit suicide. here is the full story.
There was once a king of a city-state in Alagadda, where he governed as a corrupt tyrant, suppressing and exploiting monarchs. He indulged himself in base pleasures and possibly practiced ancient, dark magic from the abyss. As time passed by the civilians got fed up and decided to overrule him, killing him by breaking his jaw, replacing his robe with ragged clothes and chains as he walked at the street,They also killed his loyal companions like his "jester" He got hanged but no crow ate his rotten corpse so he got buried.the next day crows started to gather around the grave of the dead King and strange noises could heard from beneath the earth, though this was only heard by a homeless man, who was dismissed the rest of the people. The day after that, the river that flew through the city turned red and started to smell like human blood, and many citizens fell ill, started to bleed and tremble and were bound by chains. Those who stole from the palace suffered the most, growing weak and eventually dyiing.

@@rein9407 this is what the global occult initiative would prefer that was done to the items like this. The foundations otter conviction that they need to research these things is a risk at the very least. They do however have a point in that some of these entities are much more destroy for example this mask I would really presume people have tried to destroy it in the almost two millennia that it has existed. The shape and style of the mask indicate that it is from one of the Grecian occult experiments which unfortunately have left our planet in severe issue many times before. I do agree that containing it anywhere near humans seems to be suicidal. Honestly considering it's extremely corrosive nature what I would do with it is place it in one of the disposable second sections of a space platform and send it on its way into a far orbit of the Sun. After that we would no longer be having to deal with it in the slightest seeing as it has no propulsive powers of its own. If one of the extra dimensional entities find it... Worse luck for them.

Rules if avoiding death:
1. If your life is on the line you must break your spine.
Containment is impossible, yet SCP-49 literally just locked him in a room and left him there for god knows how long without any issue.
Just drop him in wet cement, cover in in lead, bury it deep underground, then seal all the entrances with cement/lead/etc..And then leave it be. Only reason he is an issue is because you keep trying to talk to him.

I never understood the purpose of deleting the history of the SCPs exploits, work, and other stuff to document how the acquire entities. I understand that some require you to not know, but wouldnt it make it easier for future generations of the SCP Foundation to continue to contain, study, or even recapture entities if they left a paper trail documenting everything?
It's just something the earlier articles did to maintain "realism" or "mystery." The later SCPs don't really redact information all that often
You never know if they did redact the info or restrict it. Especially given how many of the SCP's are better off left alone rather than being prodded at further...
