I love how you share the way art can be therapeutic and heal. I rediscovered my obsession with art a year and 3 mos ago ( but whose counting lol) after rehab for a substance issue. It has since become my new addiction. Thank you !
Thank you! I will try to get to that before summer at least, I have a few videos lined up that is "almost done", but I too really want to film a flip-through of this journal! :-)
I am using acrylic paint here. There are a lot of different kinds of acrylics if you look in an art store and maybe get to try a few brands. Also, if it's not opaque enough for my liking I mix in some white into the color, that always help. :-)
@@iHanna Excellent! Thank you so much for the reply! I'm signed up for a 12-week online Abstract Art course starting at the end of the month and will look into acrylics as a medium to play with. Thanks again! :)
@@iHanna I'm in Toronto, Canada and it's a course run by the public school board here in the city. They offer a wide variety of courses called Continuing Education courses that the public can take (for a fairly reasonable fee). They offer everything from dance, yoga, cooking, to accounting, computer stuff, different kinds of art and craft, etc) and while they have always been in person (I took pottery through it for years), now because of the pandemic it will be online for the winter session. I'm excited about it though! It will be fun to have something creative to do one afternoon a week for 9 weeks (not 12 as I thought originally). Excited to learn and will definitely look into buying some acrylics to experiment with!
No! It’s definitely not too much! I love it and think it would be great to see a flip through of that journal. I love your work.

Yes, I do agree. Don't know what came over me when I wrote/thought of that? LOL

It's not too much. If you love it, and it's how you felt at the time, it's perfect!
Thank you, I'll take it.
@@iHanna btw, I love it!
Inspiring! Would love to see a flip-thru :)
Love it! Yes-- would love to see a flip through. I'm glad I found your channel. I believe I have seen your work on Flickr and admired it there too.
Thank you, I'll try to get to that when there is a bit more light out, right now it's like literally dark ages in Sweden...
I don't think an art journal page can ever be too much because you can always change it or cover it and start fresh.
I love your work,,would love to see a flip on this

Haha, yes, I will make one - eventually. You know me, everything takes time for me to get to...
Yes, a flip through would be so wonderful! This is so beautiful. Question: do you use gouache or is this acrylic? I love how opaque the paint is.
