Really nice work covering a tutorial for this aircraft for those who have purchased it. You’re obviously very knowledgeable aviator/flight simmer and it makes a non study level aircraft look immersive.

@@TiJayFLY Oh this is not study however it's still accurate enough to fly YSSY to YBBN in 1:11 (Sydney to Brisbane) and that's absolutely spot on for the distance and the flight plan I chose. This is my second flight in this "alleged" piece of rubbish so I cannot wait until the REAL airline pilots post their views. I follow A330Driver's channel and he's always spot on and very in depth. I'm a current A330 and former Boeing 737 pilot based out of Europe. On my channel I bring you mostly flight simulation related content such as reviews, tutorials and first looks based on Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane.
For five years I flew the 737 across Europe before I changed airline and aircraft to now fly the A330 to the worlds most beautiful destinations.

@@Julius_1905 the cockpit model is a380, the digital instruments aren’t. FBW will only be an option on pc - some players will be on Xbox

Thanks for this video. Very simple and straight forward. Thank you as well for getting it out so quickly. As an Xbox user and a casual simmer, I will buy this. I know the fbw 380 is NOT coming out for Xbox. We do not have a lot of choice. I am going into this, knowing full well that it is not a study level plane. I just want to enjoy flying the A380!
this is a horrible plane are you're just supporting shit developers, IniBuilds are coming out with an a380 and a350 later this year but sure give bredok your money
@@strzzyg3003 I’m quite worried about the quality of the iniBuilds 350/380 too, as their beta a320 is not good at all. My hope for a decent a380 sits with FBW, but of course Xbox users won’t have that option

Hi mate. For some reason when i disengage auto throttle just before landing the plane accelearates suddenly. Any idea why?
Yup. When AT is deactivated, the throttle is set to whatever position you last set. That's why I say "idle the throttle" at 3:44

So let me cut to the chase. This plane isn’t study level, but sounds,handling, systems, ILS, and textures are all fair?? Kinda like an FSX overhaul for MSFS?? I mean that sounds good. At least you can get in and fly it without having to spend 30 minutes programs g a FMC like on these “study level” aircraft. I appreciate people wanting the realism but good grief. I don’t have time to learn how to program and entire FMC every time I want to make a quick flight with an airliner. I use to love flying commercial in FSX but now these study level mod make it too complicated.
I want this A380 sooo bad, but I’ve had the Bredok3D 737MAX, I know how bad that was… and given with the iniBuilds A320neo… I don’t have too high hopes for the A380… Also, Bredok should’ve at least included an Emirates livery! Are they out of their mind!
Does the plane have passenger cameras?
No but you can set custom wing views etc like any other
I'm disappointed as there is no Emirates A380 (which is surprising given how many Emirates fly)v and that there is no internal passenger seating for either of its famous levels. Also there is no AI autopilot takeoff. Such a disappontment but it is the first. Perhaps there will be updates?
Use the actual autopilot, the AI autopilot is largely abandoned and doesn’t work with most planes these days anyway :)
@@TiJayFLY The AP worked perfectly for me on my first flight from YPAD to YSSY in 2 hours. On descent through a big storm cell it behaved impeccably. I have no complaints.

Something about the nose of this plane doesn’t look right.
A new flyer here, some comments said it’s terrible. Why?
Some people prefer more in depth systems simulation and super detailed 3D models. Of course, those carry a higher price point - and there isn’t yet a detailed A380 available in any case.
There are also people who, either due to inexperience or young age, don’t have historic knowledge of flight sim DLC to compare this to.
Some of the early 00’s flight sim addons were truly dire - see the Abacus A380 video on my Retro Flight Sim playlist, for example.
For people who have been around flight sim for decades, like myself, the consensus is generally that this DLC is perfectly serviceable and fairly priced.
Of course we’d like something better, but this’ll do for now.

On the Marketplace in the sim. I always list where to get the featured product in the video description.
my word just wait for the FBW one which will be free and fully functional. Not worth what they are asking on marketplace. Definately not Vatsim capable.
Agreed, I think it’s ok for casual players or those on Xbox where FBW won’t be an option - it’s definitely not Airbus accurate or VATSIM ready. I would also like to see a lower price.

@@TiJayFLY MSFS 2020 has 90+% who can't even fly any simulator. They are arcade players. They know nothing. This is an excellent product and flies very well and the engines from ignition to spooling up and idle sound amazing! Turn up the speakers!!

Landing below 130Knots=. IMPOSSIBLE FOR AN A380

Yeah it’s all a320 instruments, but remember that Xbox won’t be getting the FBW.
About the landing speed - I ran this very lightly loaded (default payload and 20% fuel at takeoff) cos the flight was so short. Landing speed will increase with weight of course. 140 is a realistic value, which is probably what you’d see on a longer heavier flight in this.
You can’t use the airplane APP page for a recommendation either in this - it recommends landing at 432 knots, hence the need for the player to intervene at DECEL before it throttles up! 😄
