If you want to see Tomo-zo "show-off" more, watch the song "Gacharic Spin - Instrumental - 2018" which is a live song. "Gacharic Spin "I want to take a walk " (Live at Electric Lady Land, 2022/10/08)" is a live online show with Tomo-zo playing a jazzy instrumental which really looks like a jam session. Tomo-zo is very underrated and I think part of the problem is that she is often low in the mix, she likes to dress in "girly-girl" outfits so it is easy to assume she is not a seriously good guitarist and she always seems to have a smile on her face (only Eddie Van Halen would smile this much) so again, it is easy to assume that what she plays is not difficult. Another funky - jazz based song "Gacharic Spin - ミライ論争 (Mirai Ronso) - Live at 豊洲PIT".
Thanks for taking the time to get this one out there after the block issue - 100% I'd love to see them put some Hanatera vids up - If you didn't check it out already they released a live for Reverse Psychology from the new album and features a bit of Angie's screams amongst many other cool things. p.s. I bet a lot of GS fans would still like to see those other reactions, even if you don't say that much - we don't get too many uploads compared to a lot of the bigger name bands so anything is welcomed - especially from someone who appreciates them so much. Maybe you could upload with zero/minimal editing and a description note to say why, though I can understand you're going for more quality over quantity in terms of content (I'm just greedy for GS vids...). p.p.s. I hope you may get a chance to see them in Houston - Aug 12th at Anime Matsuri
Everything the Gnome said x 10.... and I'm going to try very hard not to hate you both for living in a country where you get a chance to see them! *grin* 🤘🏳⚧(⚵⚶⚴𓁴⚳⚢⚸)🏳🌈🦘
@@homegnome2429 Shit! I knew that! you've mentioned it in a few comments! - my bad lol ....And my days of long haul flights are far behind me - 12 hours in a sardine can would kill me *grin* Oh and 10 -11 hours from Sydney to Tokyo 🤨 A comment. 😜 🤘🏳⚧(⚵⚶⚴𓁴⚳⚢⚸)🏳🌈🦘
I'll double up on what HG is saying, if you don't have much to say during some reactions that's fine, Gachapin, Fuki & UM frequently leave many of us speechless with their music. Just try and compose some thoughts for your epilogue ramble and you'll be doing better than a lot of reactors out there, who only check out mindset & maybe 1-2 other tracks. We appreciate the deeper dive down the GS Rabbithole (pun semi-intended). The higher quality and more detailed reactions are awesome, but just genuine appreciation for some wouldn't disappoint me. If you like Hanatera then you might also enjoy Metallic Spin, their hard rock/early metal style covers band project. There's more comedy promo skits out there than live footage but it's still good fun. PS. The retired guitar tech in me really wants to clean up the fretboard and put some fresh strings on that electric, I can literally hear the grime impacting the intonation and taking attack out of the riffage. :P
My guitar baffles my instructor. I've had the same Ibanez for 14 years. It's worn, rusted, kinda warped...but it's all I have. I do love it though. More reaction, more rambling. Can do!
I appreciate that that both Hana and Angie can scream/growl but I also appreciate the fact that they have amazing voices and would prefer to hear their voices the majority of the time… early on gacharic spin did something of a idol parody with their own styles and colors. They also put out a list of all their likes and dislikes. One was their favorite bands and if I’m not mistaken Hana’s was pantera…
I think I saw a picture of the idol parody. I don't recall the name. Yeah, Hana seems to be a big Pantera fan. I think Oreo listed her favorite band as Deep Purple(?)
That copyright-workaround works better than a few i've seen! That said, I don't really mind reactions with just some mindless smirking, it's what 90% of reactors do anyway. I do prefer it when one offers a few insights, comparisons, recommendations or whatnot, but it's by no means a hard requirement for me. P.s. you said “Never say never” at some point in this vid which happens to be the name of a great song and live performance by GS so that’s my next suggestion 😁
Good news you can see Gacharic Spin live at the anime convention in Houston Texas in August before the pandemic they used to perform at this convention every year I wish they would just do a small tour in the US but I don't think they think they have that many followers in the US versus the people on the UA-cam channels and Facebook groups I wish I could go but I'm saving all my money for Babymetal in September in Philadelphia
I was planning on getting into this more in a future reaction but I'm not into anime. I never have been. I feel like I would be frustrated watching a band I like at a convention instead of a concert. As far as the Babymetal tour, Kami Band is really cool (I like Takayoshi and BOH) and I just found out my guitar instructor's sister plays guitar for Dethlok (who I believe is on this leg of the tour) I hope you have a great time!
Funny enough I saw Pantera a week or so back with Zakk Wylde on guitar, he finished most of the songs with an extra 90 seconds of random guitar shred, it was cool but was maybe a bit much I'd be very interested to see a full video of that cover of I'm Broken by Hanatera, Zakk went a bit wonky in the solo for that when I saw them live, that weird bar of 9/8 in the middle of it threw him off I think, and Dimebag's weird synthetic scale and harmonics and whammy bar based approach is very different from Zakk's pentatonic shred style, very curious to see how Tomo-zo got on with the guitar solo and compare
That's Zakk Wylde. I saw Black Label Society almost ten years ago and the set started with 2 minutes of soloing. I hope we get to see some full Hanatera soon.
Glad to see them let Angie in on this side of their personalities. Hanatera is an offshoot of their "Metallicspin" (80's metal cover band with a male singer) alter ego.

I would agree that she is definitely lower in some mixes. Her lead work is creative but you lose some of it if you aren't wearing headphones.

Nope, I’m in the UK so Houston is still 12 hours away which I think is similar from Oz to Japan?

Thank you! It wasn't the original plan but I think it turned out ok.
And it's very cool to see this music reaching so many parts of the world.
If you want to see more of Tomozo, I wonder if you have seen the great Instrumental (live) 2018.
A newer link to said Instrumental 2018 video with the correct song title,"Nicorinsei no Tsukin Rush": ua-cam.com/video/T_K4w76Pe3o/v-deo.html

live version was more baddas
Gacharic Spins fabulous evil twins
Maximum the hormone is a must.
They just popped up on my Instagram scroll the other day. They are awesome!
Salah satu lagu terbaik mereka, tapi saya lebih menyukai lagu mereka karakukuri town dan dragonet, terima kasih atas reaksi anda 👍
And thank you for watching!

Hanatera is awesome. Most bands can only handle one identity, they have like three or four strong ones.
