Side note after the fact: that Homunculus s1 strip (frost ray purify) is not good. Go FULL BOTTOM ROW for water homunculus, I've never seen him land his strip. Still 100% success rate, but on the rare chance the right tower gives dragon immunity, his strip has never activated that I've seen, and it's always been loren removing it. Much better to go the normal "control style water homunculus" with full bottom row choices and s1 aoe freeze. (frost ray fluctuate, icy magic bullet chain, ice mist)
Another team that everyone should already have without having to build anything that is 99% reliable 2000 runs with a single fail. Runs 1:37-2;00 is Verd spd lead turn order Loren 2a Spectra 2a Bella 2a Kro and Verd moving last.Bella makes it safe through the waves and between Loren and Bella the boss is constantly stripped of immunity and never gets a turn Kro and Spec do lots of damg together and Verd keeps the turns rolling nicely.All runes are mediocre only thing i rec is vio shield on Bella to help with sustain through the waves.Give it a try I've been running it since patch with zero issues,and again most people should already have these units all built so no need to build new units or change Homu around

To be fair, if that rune quality on Loren is unattainable for you, then you should still be in giants getting swift runes. Not dragons trying to get Vio runes. Vio is mainly for PvP. Does extra turns help in PvE content? Sure, extra turns always helps. But it's not necessary at all to complete pretty much all PvE content.
Almost 1,000 crystals worth of farming with this team, 0 fails. (nothing is 100%, it will one day fail, just want to say it's extremelylyyyy reliable with all the safeguards in place)

Hey Bagel, your video is the most anticipated. Because you give us a farmable team. I've tried runs with this team, but I replaced the water amazon with raoq. It works too. Maybe it helps for the other who wants to build db12 but doesnt want to build a specific unit just for db12. Its like 99% consistency and Im quite happy with that. I already runs in 300 crystals without fails so I can recommend this team.
I have run this with both Roaq and Lapis instead of Ellin. My lapis is only 5* on violent and makes it super safe due to att bar reduce on S1 and S3, no skillups needed to reduce turns on S3. Roaq is not 100% reliable, but I think with good runes and speed it will be much better. Lapis on the other hand just wrecks DB12 as 5* and doesn't even need amazing runes.
Exactly my thought. I had to reskill the homie on my alt, he was built for wind rift. On my main I have him built for TOAH, fortunately I have Yen for Punisher.

The gaming dino I got gb10, NB10 and DB8 down after only 30 days using Lapis, Shannon, Loren, Fran, and Belladeon (not even 2A) for all three dungeons work pretty well with good runes. Farm more runes and you’ll be solid.

I am running a team with the same concept of attack gauge reduction: Verde, Tyron, Spectra, Taor and Raoq. Only with tyron and spectra the boss and towers barely get a turn. Good video!

THANK YOU! I've been saving up all of my crystals until I got a reliable DB12 team, and this is it! Wellll, I actually never saved a Water Amazon, and I got impatient waiting for one, so I used my good ol' Verad instead (my pride and joy). He works mostly the same, but instead of 4 hits to decrease the atk bar by 15%, he just hits once to bring it to 0. Sounds better, but isn't quite as reliable. Fails sometimes. Fortunately, like Bagel said, the team has so many backup plans that I still haven't failed a run yet. I'm at 3 minutes until I can get better runes. And this is how it's gonna happen!
Dude, first of all keep up the good work and thanks for sharing... I didn't know water amazon had ATB reduction...so I might build her, or just use two 2A spectras. However, your Loren is actually insane, 282 speed with EVERYTHING ELSE that she needs, is not just "OK", it's fairly unattainable for a lot of people who would be watching your video. I wouldn't need ideas for teams if I had access to runes such as the ones on your Loren. I was hoping you would actually take out here speed rune and run it that way.
You can try to use your Lapis instead of Ellin first. I been running my 5* Lapis on violent spd/crtdmg/accu and had great success. Lapis has att bar reduction on S1 and S3, no skillups needed to lower turn. I am yet still to fail a single run... running a 5* Lapis, that is pretty crazy. Though the time is a bit slower, I am running about 3min with Lapis. I also used Roaq to achieve better time, but less reliable.
@@dankis1990 A good way to get passed that (I just found this out) is to pretty much add more aoe control, such as lapis (with very high accuracy to get passed resistance). It should only be in extreme situations when loren should strip the boss... So just add more control, focus purely on the efficiency of runes, then it should be a bit easier, even though it might take a while. I would focus on spd too. Remember, consistency over speed. :)
With new veromoes buff, you can replace the water anazon with him, his s2 will decrease all attack bar by 50 to the side crystals, and his passive can cleanse if the dragon gets a turn. his s2 also now does damage base off of the dragons hp, but a bigger multiplier then the water amazon's s1. vero also has decent damage on s1, and his aoe decrease attack bar is 3 turns, rhater then water amazon's 4 turns
If anyone isn't high on speed runs and wants a more beginner-friendly db12, I run Verde Fran Loren Spectra Chilling. 6 min average on runs, so this video here could be considered the next level, but I think my comp is a bit more beginner friendly since I barely have any towers done for Arena. Spd Totem is Lvl10 (+8%), that's my highest. No CD units, and no 100% accuracy needed. You can run with lower stats, can't guarantee consistency though. But Chilling is insurance if Loren misses on strips. I usually have 10/10 runs. Stats are approx. as follows: Verde - Swift/Rev, +12k HP, +550atk, +350def, +102spd Fran - Vio/Will, +20k HP, +400atk, +400def, +102spd Loren - Swift/Rev, +18k HP, +300atk, +400def, +151spd, 80acc Spectra2A - Swift/Endure, +16k HP, +100atk, +400def, +133spd, 53acc Chilling - Swit/Rev, +15k HP, +300atk, +300def, +118spd, 76acc I did try swapping out Chilling with a s1 strip CD Homu (the rest is the typical bottom track), and did manage a similar average runtime. Won't guarantee anything with that, but if you don't want to build Chilling you could try it. But I'm not relying on the Homu for the strip, just for faster wave-clearing and the atb pushback on the crystals. My Homu is unskilled though, so it probably could be faster. WaterHomu - Despair/Rev, +14k HP, +1050atk, +400def, +37spd, 46acc, cr/cd 60/140 I use Fran, Loren, Spectra, and Homu in my main TOA team, and the former 3 are in my sf10 team as well. So these builds work for multiple pve content areas.

This is a great idea for a team! Since my Spectra isn't second awakened and I am not going to 6* the Water archer I was looking for replacements and as someone else was saying here, Lapis might be a better option instead of the water archer and instead of Spectra I just used Poseidon who works quite well.
This video was great. I've built a safe DB12 team following the idea's Bagel showed here using Verde, Loren, Spectra and replacing the water amazon and homie with water sea emperor and Sig since I already rebuild my Homie for PB10.

@@Lynxwire I was just testing the amazon cause she seemed interesting and she can work very well but I have a taor, the star of the team is the spectra so changing that just made the clearing waves faster :) Lapis is such a great option too I just never 6* her.
I am early game and have 3 min pretty consistent runs. Verd Spectra raoq Loren Fran. You focus the right tower and the the boss. Spectra kills the tower quickly. Even if only Fran and Loren survive, they can solo the the boss. But normally one unit dies and you win, it doesn’t matter which unit they take. Just sometimes if Loren dies they fail, but that is unlikely cause she has low damage. Loren and spectra good accuracy, everything somewhat ranks, best over 18k hp and 800 def.
Nice one. I have been running db12 with verde kahli spectra kro loren. I swapped kahli for water homie and it's a lot more reliable lol (and not that much slower. No atk buff but with all those dots, kro still hits freaking hard)
I love these vids and they help me much. I had to switch 2 mons and now it looks better. I know the focus is on f2p teams, but even f2p people have sometimes luck and get good nat5s. Maybe at the endling a section where you tell us what you could switch, if you have them? I switched water amazon (didn't build her) for water sea emperor.
Hey Bagel, im a new player and i was looking into using the homunculus as a full aoe build for the fire rift boss. do you think the rune requirements would be crazy high to achieve enough dps for fire rift boss while having enough speed and acc for the db12 team ?
I'm running a kinda similar team, but with roaq and lapis and kahli instead of ellin and homie and loren. i reckon more people will have those units, and it's still running consistently. it's pretty much the same idea but with more damage.
Bagel! Try Tyron? It does well in freezing and reduces attack bar if there's a Spectra as well! Also, you could try using those Pixies that detonate dots to make it faster, right? :)
I like the team, but i was wondering would you be able to speed it up by using a tatu? I saw a video of somebody using rica, tatu, water homie, loren and verd team and I was interested to build it. Im in the process of 2aing tatu, so im not sure if the team will work and if it will be reliable, but tatu might help to speed this team up?
My God, this team is crazy interesting! Didn't know Water Amazon could come in THAT handy. Working on Spectra will be really hard, tho, that's my only problem about his runes.
Question I notice your spectra has high damage, but you said just needs Speed, CR, CD, and accuracy. So long as I have those the damage isn't really that important?

If it works i'm thinking it might be faster and a good replace for her since a lot of people would have then built instead of ellin. I'm going to try it with them though. Although I don't have a problem with db12 because i got martina lol.

Very much late on this but I haven't seen anyone using my team yet which is Verde (L), Lapis, Poseidon, Sigmarus, and Loren. Lapis and Poseidon are still 5* but waves rarely move anyway and neither do the boss and crystals. Works for me 99% of the time. If I fail is because of RNG resis from the left crystals. Lapis, Poseidon, and Verde are violent, Loren is swift fight and sig is fatal energy, lots of accuracy and hp. Sigmarus obviously is the dmg dealer, since I have bad runes, the HP% dmg helps a lot. Can be replaced with any other relevant DD, also spectra for even more control, I just like SIG for aoe freeze on waves and also elemental advantage. AVG RUN 3.50min/4min. Slow but consistent Working on Water homie to replace Lapis and see how it works.
I been using Water Homu for D12, he's the only reason I can beat it lol, tried so many different combinations since I have no Taor or Poseidon. Water Amazon tho? Didn't expect her to be in here.

Thats what im using. Rica(replaceable with fire imp) water homu, tatu, Verde(L) and Loren. Focus right tower, is pretty consistent. Even better if you put everyone on Violent
Verad Lead, Vero, Fran, Loren, Rica. 95% success. Target right tower, the double atk bar reduction doesn't allow for the tower to take a turn, and rica's s3 deals 45% of the boss's hp over 3 turns. It is a 4min clear until you can do a tricaru
I don’t have good runes but I have good units. Trying to start shifting from playing casually to maybe farming a little. What are some good monsters to try out that don’t need outstanding runes?
I've seen a video of a similar team with water hommie, rica, and fire 2a pixie to detonate the dots. The only issue I've found there is that the only atb reduction was water hommie and spectra, but worked rly well and was faster
One thing about homu I don't know if I like. One of his main things is to dot like crazy. But with both spectra and loren atk bar reducing, those dots will probably never proc. So on the dragon he feels kinda pointless except a bit atk bar reduce...
A lot of ppl going full toa on the dragon with water homunculus, Mantura, Rica and Tatu. You could add Tatu instead of the amazon, it would make it much faster because you waste so much dot damage.
Does Abigail work as a alternative for Amazon and if so what runes? Plus is there an alternative for fire Griffin (drawing a blank) as 2a is sooooooo time consuming
Water amazon is for the added atk bar reduction since its AOE (specifically for towers so those dont get turns), I don't think Abigail would work as a replacement
Okay real talk... My Loren (swift) is not as fast as yours but she's +148 spd and 74% acc +15k hp. my Spectra (swift) is at +110spd and +10k hp, 81% acc. My water homie (vio) is +112 spd, +13k HP, 100% acc. Ellin (vio) is +98 spd, +15k hp, and 100% acc. My Verde (vio) is tank/dmg build at +72 spd, 100% CR, 144% CD, +1352atk, +8.5k hp The team is not nearly as consistent as your team and I think my runes are definitely on par with yours. Granted I didn't build homie and Ellin for dmg but just support+ max acc. But most of the dmg is coming from Spectra and some from Verde. I have watched the team performance over and over to see what the issue is. The cleanse+immunity dragon tower resists the atk gauge decrease still often. I mean I can some times go 10 times winning straight, but then I'll start another auto farm and I'll lose the first battle, start another and lose another battle along the auto farm. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Plz help :( Edit: Loren is maxed skilled, so is Ellin. Spectra only has his 3rd skill maxed (got lucky with 2 devilmon), water homie is not skilled up at all, and Verde has 1 skill up. Is the problem that my water homie + Spectra are not maxed skilled?
I have done this team and the lapis team but both arent reliable for me. My whole team is around 100 speed, 100% acc, around 60% crit and rough crit damage ( I focused more on hp) most of my units are spd crit dmg and acc but they die ALOT...what am I doing wrong? Crit dmg totem is maxed but have a few thrown in the others for arena
So fire homu is op for artifacts and now water homu is great for dragons.. ok so let's reset every few days depending if we are dragon farming or arti farming? Makes sense

Though the time is a bit slower, I am running about 3min with Lapis. I also used Roaq to achieve better time, but less reliable.

Yeah I feel you, one time I was observing the runs to see why they fail and she took 5 turns and just refused to use skill 2 to strip the immunity...
@@dankis1990 A good way to get passed that (I just found this out) is to pretty much add more aoe control, such as lapis (with very high accuracy to get passed resistance). It should only be in extreme situations when loren should strip the boss... So just add more control, focus purely on the efficiency of runes, then it should be a bit easier, even though it might take a while. I would focus on spd too. Remember, consistency over speed. :)
With new veromoes buff, you can replace the water anazon with him, his s2 will decrease all attack bar by 50 to the side crystals, and his passive can cleanse if the dragon gets a turn. his s2 also now does damage base off of the dragons hp, but a bigger multiplier then the water amazon's s1. vero also has decent damage on s1, and his aoe decrease attack bar is 3 turns, rhater then water amazon's 4 turns

If anyone isn't high on speed runs and wants a more beginner-friendly db12, I run Verde Fran Loren Spectra Chilling. 6 min average on runs, so this video here could be considered the next level, but I think my comp is a bit more beginner friendly since I barely have any towers done for Arena. Spd Totem is Lvl10 (+8%), that's my highest. No CD units, and no 100% accuracy needed. You can run with lower stats, can't guarantee consistency though. But Chilling is insurance if Loren misses on strips. I usually have 10/10 runs. Stats are approx. as follows:
Verde - Swift/Rev, +12k HP, +550atk, +350def, +102spd
Fran - Vio/Will, +20k HP, +400atk, +400def, +102spd
Loren - Swift/Rev, +18k HP, +300atk, +400def, +151spd, 80acc
Spectra2A - Swift/Endure, +16k HP, +100atk, +400def, +133spd, 53acc
Chilling - Swit/Rev, +15k HP, +300atk, +300def, +118spd, 76acc
I did try swapping out Chilling with a s1 strip CD Homu (the rest is the typical bottom track), and did manage a similar average runtime. Won't guarantee anything with that, but if you don't want to build Chilling you could try it. But I'm not relying on the Homu for the strip, just for faster wave-clearing and the atb pushback on the crystals. My Homu is unskilled though, so it probably could be faster.
WaterHomu - Despair/Rev, +14k HP, +1050atk, +400def, +37spd, 46acc, cr/cd 60/140
I use Fran, Loren, Spectra, and Homu in my main TOA team, and the former 3 are in my sf10 team as well. So these builds work for multiple pve content areas.

This is a great idea for a team! Since my Spectra isn't second awakened and I am not going to 6* the Water archer I was looking for replacements and as someone else was saying here, Lapis might be a better option instead of the water archer and instead of Spectra I just used Poseidon who works quite well.

This video was great. I've built a safe DB12 team following the idea's Bagel showed here using Verde, Loren, Spectra and replacing the water amazon and homie with water sea emperor and Sig since I already rebuild my Homie for PB10.

You can try to replace Ellin with Lapis. Lapis got att bar reduction on S1 and S3, no skillups needed. I been running my 5* Lapis on violent spd/crtdmg/accu with no fails so far. Running Lapis seems to be a bit slower, but way safer as towers never get a chance to get a turn.
@@Lynxwire I was just testing the amazon cause she seemed interesting and she can work very well but I have a taor, the star of the team is the spectra so changing that just made the clearing waves faster :) Lapis is such a great option too I just never 6* her.
I am early game and have 3 min pretty consistent runs. Verd Spectra raoq Loren Fran. You focus the right tower and the the boss. Spectra kills the tower quickly. Even if only Fran and Loren survive, they can solo the the boss. But normally one unit dies and you win, it doesn’t matter which unit they take. Just sometimes if Loren dies they fail, but that is unlikely cause she has low damage. Loren and spectra good accuracy, everything somewhat ranks, best over 18k hp and 800 def.
For those without water Amazon, belladeon works as well

Nice one. I have been running db12 with verde kahli spectra kro loren. I swapped kahli for water homie and it's a lot more reliable lol (and not that much slower. No atk buff but with all those dots, kro still hits freaking hard)

I love these vids and they help me much. I had to switch 2 mons and now it looks better. I know the focus is on f2p teams, but even f2p people have sometimes luck and get good nat5s. Maybe at the endling a section where you tell us what you could switch, if you have them? I switched water amazon (didn't build her) for water sea emperor.

I'm running a kinda similar team, but with roaq and lapis and kahli instead of ellin and homie and loren. i reckon more people will have those units, and it's still running consistently. it's pretty much the same idea but with more damage.
Bagel! Try Tyron? It does well in freezing and reduces attack bar if there's a Spectra as well! Also, you could try using those Pixies that detonate dots to make it faster, right? :)

I like the team, but i was wondering would you be able to speed it up by using a tatu? I saw a video of somebody using rica, tatu, water homie, loren and verd team and I was interested to build it. Im in the process of 2aing tatu, so im not sure if the team will work and if it will be reliable, but tatu might help to speed this team up?

If it works i'm thinking it might be faster and a good replace for her since a lot of people would have then built instead of ellin. I'm going to try it with them though. Although I don't have a problem with db12 because i got martina lol.

Very much late on this but I haven't seen anyone using my team yet which is Verde (L), Lapis, Poseidon, Sigmarus, and Loren.
Lapis and Poseidon are still 5* but waves rarely move anyway and neither do the boss and crystals. Works for me 99% of the time. If I fail is because of RNG resis from the left crystals.
Lapis, Poseidon, and Verde are violent, Loren is swift fight and sig is fatal energy, lots of accuracy and hp. Sigmarus obviously is the dmg dealer, since I have bad runes, the HP% dmg helps a lot. Can be replaced with any other relevant DD, also spectra for even more control, I just like SIG for aoe freeze on waves and also elemental advantage.
AVG RUN 3.50min/4min. Slow but consistent

Verad Lead, Vero, Fran, Loren, Rica. 95% success. Target right tower, the double atk bar reduction doesn't allow for the tower to take a turn, and rica's s3 deals 45% of the boss's hp over 3 turns. It is a 4min clear until you can do a tricaru
I don’t have good runes but I have good units. Trying to start shifting from playing casually to maybe farming a little. What are some good monsters to try out that don’t need outstanding runes?
I've seen a video of a similar team with water hommie, rica, and fire 2a pixie to detonate the dots. The only issue I've found there is that the only atb reduction was water hommie and spectra, but worked rly well and was faster

One thing about homu I don't know if I like. One of his main things is to dot like crazy. But with both spectra and loren atk bar reducing, those dots will probably never proc. So on the dragon he feels kinda pointless except a bit atk bar reduce...

A lot of ppl going full toa on the dragon with water homunculus, Mantura, Rica and Tatu. You could add Tatu instead of the amazon, it would make it much faster because you waste so much dot damage.
Just to be clear, it's the water amazon, not the water magical archer! He referred to the unit as both in the video!
Would Poseidon or Taor work instead of Ellin? I have both but not an Ellin. Preferably Poseidon as he's skilled and Taor isn't :/

Water amazon is for the added atk bar reduction since its AOE (specifically for towers so those dont get turns), I don't think Abigail would work as a replacement

Okay real talk...
My Loren (swift) is not as fast as yours but she's +148 spd and 74% acc +15k hp. my Spectra (swift) is at +110spd and +10k hp, 81% acc. My water homie (vio) is +112 spd, +13k HP, 100% acc. Ellin (vio) is +98 spd, +15k hp, and 100% acc. My Verde (vio) is tank/dmg build at +72 spd, 100% CR, 144% CD, +1352atk, +8.5k hp
The team is not nearly as consistent as your team and I think my runes are definitely on par with yours. Granted I didn't build homie and Ellin for dmg but just support+ max acc. But most of the dmg is coming from Spectra and some from Verde. I have watched the team performance over and over to see what the issue is. The cleanse+immunity dragon tower resists the atk gauge decrease still often.
I mean I can some times go 10 times winning straight, but then I'll start another auto farm and I'll lose the first battle, start another and lose another battle along the auto farm. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Plz help :(
Edit: Loren is maxed skilled, so is Ellin. Spectra only has his 3rd skill maxed (got lucky with 2 devilmon), water homie is not skilled up at all, and Verde has 1 skill up. Is the problem that my water homie + Spectra are not maxed skilled?
Does Dragons B12 have an Acc Cap? My Raoq got 80% Acc without slot 6 and still miss defense break more then 50% of the time
I have done this team and the lapis team but both arent reliable for me. My whole team is around 100 speed, 100% acc, around 60% crit and rough crit damage ( I focused more on hp) most of my units are spd crit dmg and acc but they die ALOT...what am I doing wrong? Crit dmg totem is maxed but have a few thrown in the others for arena
So fire homu is op for artifacts and now water homu is great for dragons.. ok so let's reset every few days depending if we are dragon farming or arti farming? Makes sense
Ohh dont forget if you are using wind for r5 and water for toa/h.. people start running rift dungeons cause all the re-specs you gonna have to do if you follow this is gonna be insane if you use a homunculus anywhere and dont have other units built which many dont
