Thanks for sharing your adventures. I'm new to the saltwater hobby with Fish only for a year and finally moving into the Coral World. And Yes stayed to the end, Cheers!
It’s like when you’re a little kid and you respect your dad. As you grow up you might get bigger than your dad, but still respect him. I think the damsel laid down the law at the beginning and Mochi doesn’t realize he could take out the damsel any time he wants. 😁 And I always watch right to the end. 😎
Hardcore (acrylic)! :) Hey I went to some fish wholesalers here and they had some frogfish there. It was the Painted frogfish (Antennarius pictus) which is a different color than yours is. (it's grey) They were small though, about 1.5" or 2.0" long.
Finally watched all your videos tuck a while but a lot of great information can't wait to my tank start coming along definitely going to keep my hands out thanks for all the info love the tanks
#Hardcorereefsquad Would you ever frag the fathead dendro? Also I’m amazed that the yellowtail blue damsel is still alive! Also I think you should add a power head to the bottom to help circulate the water. Keep reefing!
I'm with you, I don't know how the damsel is still alive seeing the way it's behaving day in and day out! I _think_ eventually I will start fragging the Fathead Dendro, but man, I have some serious issue with breaking up coral coloy...! Btw, I just picked up a MP10wQD, let's see if we can get the GSP to start spreading on the bottom as well. ;-)
just wondering what about a maxspect gyre to replace the power head you have now?? surely that would have the power to reach the gsp at the bottom?? if you have it so it hits the glass it will be forced down it and across the bottom, i know its expensive haha one day i will have one!!! anyhow so jealous of your tanks!! keep up the good work
Love the fat head dendros. I've been trying to find them locally without any luck. Kochi is look good and has grown a lot. Love your vids you post. Keep up the good work and happy reefing
What is that bright green coral you have in your 17g tank. I thought you said it was a candy cane but I wanted to make sure so I could get one. They look amazing. You have great videos they are the best. Look forward to them every week
Thanks man! I usually feed my nems and LPS the chunkier pieces from LRS Reef Frenzy or Rod's Food. Recently I bought some fresh silver fish from Asian Market's sea food department and the corals and nems seems to take them with no issue as well.
The messages on your phone had me tweeking! That elephant story is truth. I've been too zoos when i was a kid where they had a full grown elephant chained to a plasted tree trunk that was loose.
hey man, I would recommend getting a gyre pump for the drop off tank to stick under the ledge. jebao make a cheap one that works great I use it on my tank. fish street sells it online, check it out!
Thanks Tristan! I actually just picked up a lightly used MP10wQD so I could avoid running chord to the bottom part of the tank, if that doesn't work out though I will go for a Gyre like you recommended. Thanks! (will have to check out fish street too, awesome name)
Hey Aidan, I ended up going for a MP10wQD because I don't want to run a chord to the bottom of the dropoff. I still hope to be able to test out the Eflux Wave Pump in the future, looks interesting
Damn dude your tanks are growing crazy fast!! Soo my 140gal started leaking last week, patched it for now but have to upgrade to a 220, and doing the swap tomo.. Moving everything to a 90 gal I had sitting and few tubs and moving the 220 in place and waiting a day to put fish back in, let new sand settle.. Any advice on other things you could think of for better transition? lol
+Shill Gaming damn man, sorry to hear about the leak. Was the upgrade already in the work or this was an opportunity to upgrade? (If it was he latter... did you like a hole in your 140 on purpose? Lol) hope things are all in and good to go by now!!
Whatever you do, do NOT move that damsel to the 45g. You will regret it for as long as you live. I wouldn't put it in the bigger tank either whenever that comes. I've watched Yellowtail Damsels hold their own against lionfish, triggers and other large predatory fish. Just let it live in peace, alone in the 17g with Moshi. #hardcorereefsquad
Okay so I ordered some green star polyp for my tank tomorrow cause I heard it won't spread if its on its own island(which is what I'm getting, a ball of it on a round rock). But then I watched some videos and saw that even on its own island, the gsp still spread onto the gravel and onto the main rock structure. How can I be so sure that it won't happen?
I had my GSP on an island as well and it's pretty slow spreading downward (usually it's upwards and towards flow). It's quite easy to frag it back if it starts spreading onto sand/cc as it would just be a mat, you should be able to trim it back easily. It's a totally different story if the GSP manages to work it's way onto the main rock structure...!
HRS here
name the damsel sally =)
LOL!! Not a bad idea... although you guys would have my head if Mochi ate it one day
Try a little sand around the the rocks! It should hold the GSP back?
I love the look of the GSP covering the bottom like a lush golf course
I'm a hardcore fan stayed till the end
Thanks for staying til the end! ;-)
That Damsel has the biggest balls I ever seen on a little fish!
I watch your videos all the way to the end, I really enjoy watching them, please keep them coming
Another great update video. Hurry up with the big tank, lol. I want to see a 75+ gallon tank on your channel soon.
I guess my wife and I are hardcore reefers, we always stay to the end of all your updates!! Great update!!

Enjoy the journey!!
Always watch to the end always good to c the Lil vacation clips at end aswell
Watched the whole video and loved every second of it!
Awesome update. You should try and put a border of sand around the rock so gsp doesn’t touch the rock. 👍

Those app sounds in the back made me look all the time lol ;.)
Another great video. What kind of food you give to anemone? Tks
Thanks man! I usually feed my nems and LPS the chunkier pieces from LRS Reef Frenzy or Rod's Food. Recently I bought some fresh silver fish from Asian Market's sea food department and the corals and nems seems to take them with no issue as well.
Inappropriate Reefer tks. Nice job ;)
That kid Alex is on his game! You know you saw that damsel back that shimp into his buddy Mochi's mouth. :-)
Oh...and made it to the end. #reefsquad
I watched till the end. I have a damzel just like that. Super hardcore! Its a survivor!
HRS!!!!!!!!! Love mochi and I definitely want to get a frogfish for an office tank someday! Keep it up!
Till the bitter end! Well, maybe the sweet end. Awesome update.
Also I have a 29 gallon. I have a clown a orange like chromis and a pink spot goby with a pistol shrimp. How much more do you think I could put in ir
Really depends on how large the fish is! In terms of bio-load, I think you could do at least one more clownfish and another goby.
Always watch until the end mate 👍
The messages on your phone had me tweeking! That elephant story is truth. I've been too zoos when i was a kid where they had a full grown elephant chained to a plasted tree trunk that was loose.
Always watch till the end 🐡🐟🐠 What camera do you film 🎥 with ? Thanks.!!

Watched to the end 👌👌thought that damsel was going to get eaten lol
Always watch till the end man. keep up the great videos.
Watching still
I didn't know frogfish have jet propulsion. Similar to cuttlefish.
Your tank is awesome
Be careful with those. Green polyps they can grow crazy in a blink of an eye
yeah you should try to put some sand between the rocks and GSP. It should hold them back
Thanks, lots of people are recommending that... I want to go for the bare bottom look but I may have to lay down a ring of sand.
Watched it all the way!
Always watching to the end my friend.
Long videos are the best 😁
love ur long vids man . keep them coming.

Good call on removing the frogspawn. The fat-head dendro is getting some great growth!
Instead of an mp10 would you please try currant USA eflux wave pump instead and do a review on it
Hey Aidan, I ended up going for a MP10wQD because I don't want to run a chord to the bottom of the dropoff. I still hope to be able to test out the Eflux Wave Pump in the future, looks interesting
Inappropriate Reefer thank you for thinking about it I forgot about the cord

Jonathan Lee be ready to cut it regularly, u can use clippers or scissors
