Great cars, I had one. The looks have aged well, the original BMW paint was very tough and polishes up well. That 2.8 M52 engine is bullet proof. What's not to like.
Once you have it cleaned up, get a cover for it. My Z3, which is an outdoor car, is always covered until I go for a drive. You need a cover to keep pets from creating problems for you, at least on the body of the car.
If I was going to keep this for a while then I would probably dry store it over winter like my E32 but it will be going soon as I need to make space for incoming projects :(
Congrats. Thats nice I picked up a 1.9 M44 as a cheap summer project a few years ago. Love it to this day but the 2.8 Pre Face lift is deffo the one to go for.
Great work on that z3. I've bought one and it needs a good tlc. Mechanically perfect so I don't really care too much about how it looks. It's all about the drive for me and the touch ups bit by bit when I can. 😎😁 Look forward to seeing the next video. What bridge is that?
Thank you mate! The LSD makes all the difference for me, if yours doesn't have one then it's well worth the upgrade. The bridge is the Queensferry Crossing in Edinburgh, it was built a few years ago to replace the forth road bridge.
I’ve just bought a Japanese import 2.8 auto Z3, came into the country in September 2022 and hasn’t been on the roads till I drove it home from Middlesbrough so underside is in amazing condition. Like you, I absolutely love it!
That's incredible! They never fail to put a smile on your face. If you ever feel like doing a manual conversion, its way easier than you might think too. I just done a full swap on my E36 Touring and it was well worth it. Easy to reverse too if you like originality
Thank you very much man, I just used the meguiars headlight restoration kit on this one an it worked amazingly. Very easy and simple to do, only thing I'd recommend is masking of anything around the lights to make sure you don't damage any paint.
Nice video of your Z3. It's afabulous roadster that is sure to put a smile on anyone who gets behind the wheel! I fell in love with them when they were first brought to market back in 1996 and vowed to have one someday. That day came six years ago when I acquired my 2000 M roadster, Euro-spec, Japanese export with the S50 engine that puts out 321 HP. Here's a short video I made a while back: ua-cam.com/video/5mEV9qzou2M/v-deo.html
That's awesome man! I just sold it last week and I'm feeling regretful... I'm sure I'll own another in the future, hopefully a Z3M to see how much better they can get. This was by far the best 2-seater roadster I have ever driven.

It's by far one of my favorite cars to drive. Definitely one of BMWs master pieces

What cover do you have? I'm looking at buying one myself which will be stored outside

Hi mate, why do you say ore face lift 2.8 is the one to go for? I'm looking at buying a z3
Another 🔥🔥 video bro! Chuffed to see that you’re smashing each episode! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
You're a legend brother! Thank you
Top class video bro, going to look at a 2000 2.8 ZF tomorrow!
Thank you! I highly recommended it mate. One of the most enjoyably cars I've owned and by far the best roadster I've owned.
Looks good! ❤
bardzo ładny samochód.

I must have missed it, but did you use any special method to get the headlights that clean and buffed out? Great job!

@@zhainmhd9323 Amazing, great work!
I been looking for one like this.
This one will be up for sale soon! Keep an eye on eBay in the next month or so if you're still interested
@@zhainmhd9323 I'm planning to use a Z3 for photoshoot and videos involving attractive models 😏
Send location, I'm on the way lol
Is it the standard clutch or an upgrade, I have a 3.0L and the clutch doesn't feel sharp like yours doing a donut
Love my Z3
just a standard clutch man, never had any problems with it and dont think it would benefit from an upgrade yet
good
Thanks
