My take on this issue is,
Dr Nauman already before the programme made his mind to insult and disgrace Shoaib Akhtar, all rest are just excuses.

I am an Indian and can be more neutral than Mansoor. The facts are During the break Nauman and Shoeb agreed to patch up at least for the live show. When the program resumes Shoeb will say that he was joking and Nauman would apologize for his behavior. Shoeb kept his promise but Nauman cunningly avoided to apologize. Rest of the issues are something that PTV management should have addressed. It’s not for Nauman to settle management issues on live time. Good try Mansoor but you stand exposed

I think Dr. Nauman took the break and when he came back Shoaib again brought the same issues back and told Dr. Nauman to apologize and it was very rude of Shoaib. When it was sorted out during the break then you should not bring it back which has created more controversy. I was watching it live and when believe me everything was fine until and before Dr. Nauman took the break. But Shoaib brought the issue back to satisfy his ego which is very rude of him. Shoaib has insulted Dr. Nauman so many times during the show but he has not asked him to apologize in front of everyone.

National hero ka ye matlab nahi hota ki kisi ko sar par betha kar rako. Shoaib stated it off by saying " Looks like somebody has come to work right?" . He has always been a self absorbed loud mouth who does not understand the nuances of behaving in public. Yes Nauman could have have handled it differently in hindsight but Shoiab had it coming. Wasim Akram put it correctly when referring to Shoaib a few weeks back saying " Use baat karne ki tameez hi nahi hai".

Even if there were contractual violations or any other problems behind the scenes, that still does not warrant Dr. Nauman to misbehave or ask Shoaib Akhtar to leave the show. This was unethical and below usual journalistic standards.
Shoaib Akhtar as we all know is quite an aggressive person himself. However, he still kept his cool and tried to maintain the decorum of the show despite the constant flaunting of reckless attitude by Nauman.
Of course, Nauman being on an influential position on PTV Sports and for being a spearhead of Sports journalism in Pakistan considers himself something of a bigshot. But this behavior is not acceptable.
Anyone else, with a little self respect or dignity would have resigned by now. He would stay. Kyunke waisay bhi General ka bacha hai, kon hila sakta hai.. :D

1. There is something you missed in between means a clip, which totally twisted the facts. If your researchers had done work properly there is a clip in between where Shoaib actually asked Doctor to say SORRY and he said it's okay... after that, he had resigned on-air.

He has always been a self absorbed loud mouth who does not understand the nuances of behaving in public. Yes Nauman could have have handled it differently in hindsight but Shoiab had it coming. Wasim Akram put it correctly when referring to Shoaib a few weeks back saying " Use baat karne ki tameez hi nahi hai".

He is not a anchor basically,he talks himself too much about fielding, batting and bowling and interrupts all the sport experts. Although he can host cricket in cyclopedia programs very well. I remember his old programs aired twenty years which gave a lot of historical knowledge about the cricket
