I swear if you remember going into a Borders, you need a night cream. This is a callout to myself, I need said night cream... Also, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is in my TBR too and...it's non-fiction?! I did not know that.
😂 I got told last year that I need to use particular products on my skin because I'm 30 now... and yes! It's nonfiction. The title and cover give off fiction vibes.
NIght might still be my favourite Holocaust memoir. I should reread it at some point. The Skin We're In is an amazing read. As someone who did grow up in Canada, it is shameful how little we learned about the reality of residential schools so I should pick up A Knock on the Door!
I liked _Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil_ when I read it several a decade or more ago. I'm not sure, given some of its subject matter, how it holds up today. I thought _Cleopatra_ was great. I did not like _Three Women_
Ahhh, so you were in the 'nay' group for Three Women then. I think my copy of 'Midnight...' is from 1994, which might explain the weird size and yes, it would be interesting to see how it holds up.
Nice video, a good array of picks
Nice job, Becks!

@@getbookish I’m 28 and I’m already that person who says “you’re 19?! Awww you’re a baby!” to kids. Oh lord.

I feel like going to thrift stores here has really helped me up my Canadian nonfiction collection!
