Dark sleeper is a great lure. I got a megabass rod a few years ago. i love it 7 foot medium, flatside special It's a great build quality 👌 Randy. I got my mlf my outdoor tv fired up , ready for the season.

I love these three, haven’t caught anything off the craw yet, but the gill and goby are fantastic, caught a lot of small mouth on the darksleeper goby, and the sleeper gill has caught me smalls and pike.
Trim that double fin on the back until the hook point is actually exposed leaving much less fin on the back. I know it can kind of be difficult to start cutting on a bait that you just spent money on but believe me the bait is really good at times. By the way it can be used to reel through the water column to catch fish like that as well sometimes very well! Anyway with that fin material trimmed back away from the hook point you will hook and land more fish.
I bought some off of temu as well and the tail action is not as good as the dark sleeper. Plus the material is not as soft on the cheaper ones from Temu as it is on the dark sleeper. The dark sleepers tail works at a much slower speed than the cheap ones will.
A friend and my self bought some seaguar invizx and it has been nothing but issues. The reels and spools of line have been kept inside out of the weather and sunlight, and it has become brittle and weak . Like breaking by pulling it with our hands .....

That Dark Sleeper swimbait works for me here for Bass , Redfish , and Speckle trout , I’ve wacked em on it too ! With that hop too !
Man the dark sleeper is the real deal. I tear them up on this bait. Big ones 2.
I’ve only tried the sleeper gill….might try the sleeper craw soon.

Hey Randy do you think I can get bite's on the dark sleeper at Stockton lake or is the water to stained for that . Can I use the sleeper gill.
Yeah, you can on the lower end of the lake towards the dam area
