Nitrado is trash, I can't wait until Wildcard pays them back and gets out from under them.
It's not the servers, the game has always had terrible bugs and terrible frame rate.

I crashed 12 times in 5 hours yesterday. I have a 5600x and a 3060 12 gig.
Wife is on the Series S and only crashed 2 times
Daughter is on 7800x3d and 4070ti and crashed once it's been weird lol
PS5, I've been crashing 50-75 times a day for months now, and I only play in the evenings

@IchigosBestFriend I tried to go to abb, but it kept load crashing, extinction has been the best on crashing for me. I can't go to the sunken forest though, crash city right now.
I haven't had a single crash yet, 2060 Super. Latest NVIDIA driver but without NVIDIA app and all that bullshit installed.
I have a 4090 and I started getting crashes after the update but I think I found the reason for the crashes. It seems to be a shader cache issue. Go to the nvidia control panel and disable the shader cache size and restart your PC and try it with the shader cache size disabled. I have been playing all day with no crashes. It will have some small stuttering when you first load the game and walk around but it will go away. I am going to test the shader cache size by raising it back up on notch at a time .
Our brand new server had pings over 400. Hatched an egg and it said nope and turned back into an egg then hatched again. I nearly peed my pants laughing
I placed an egg down, and it disappeared. I blamed my oviraptor for eating it, logged on the next day to it in my inventory

I tried to hatch an egg and no matter how many fires I put down it never hatched it just said to cold so I eat it. Thanks ark 😅

We are under attack, hackers are causing cars to go under the map and getting stuck, It's also causing pay to win to be added to the game, it's terrible. It also caused dedicated storage to be emptied and terrible frame rates since the game came out. Meanwhile ASE has been running perfectly since WC stopped doing updates.
Surprised nobody has sued wildcard for selling a scam and all the lies.

Call of duty used bots in online mp mode. Should be sued for misleading shareholders on player numbers but have yet to be sued.
Actually off the top of my head I can’t think of one game company that has sued.
Plenty that have been in court if mistreatment of workers etc but non for scamming or lying

@ShadowBanable The type of game Ark is, unofficial servers should have more. It's a very customizable playing environment. Official servers can't begin to cover all of it.

I had just finished building a Villa on Scorched Earth, put charcoal in the train and noticed that it would be dropped instantly from it's inventory, thought it might be just a bug but nope the train wouldn't go lol again a mod ! !
I'm still to this day just mainly playing survival evolved still lol

Seems like a ram bleed. Starts out ok but usage keeps climbing the longer you play. I’ve got 64gb of ram and after a while the server seems to rubber band every couple of seconds even though I’m only using 24gb of ram max.
Single player seems fine so I’d guess it’s mainly a server side issue
I am glad to know that the issue with the map loading is not a corrupted character file. I have that issue all of the time and end up having to delete them and start over again. Good thing i did not delete it this time.
The GAME its self, has been a mess. I can't minimize ARK without it freezing my PC.
They literally know about the Gachas spawning in the mesh, yet it has been broken since Extinction launch. It is infuriating me.
Yeah I got lucky, tamed one half in the ground and cyropodded him out, found a girl and have been breeding and killing them for weeks.
It's been broken since ase, stuff has spawned in the mesh on literally every other map since ase. It's not going to get fixed and even if they do fix the gachas spawned in the mesh you still won't be able to find gachas after all of them have been tamed. Only way to actually get gachas besides waiting for resets is to go out and manually clear any and all wild dinos in sunken and wait for new dinos to spawm, occasionally will spawn a gacha.
Quit playing, I gave up 6 months ago when the pay to win dinos were added.
@This is so pathetic by WC and unacceptable. Considering sourcing a ele gacha on ASE for me was like 1 in every 50+ Gacha. I honestly stopped playing Ext once I couldn't find Gacha. Of all things to get right the literal frikin tames should have been top priority.
Im always watching your vids on the update. I love this game even when it came out idc about price or what ever. Im a solo world player and love it and beyond so adding mods was just a cherry on top. Love this game still and keep up the good work!

The crashes are the worst part, I can deal with a little lag cause I'm old enough to remember diablo 2 on aol dial up.
Diablo 2 was a million times better the Ark ASA will every be, and they didn't try to rip you off every 5 minutes with more pay to win content.

Before it was the engine excuse that they couldn't do more in order to make run better this Game , So now they changed to better engine wich is ASA , but today is the same excuses, the truth is that this game always had problems, bugs and more bugs.

Honestly, i cant agree more.. people are wishing for wildcards and snail games downfall.. but what that really means is that everyone will loose their favouite dinosaur game.. and then no more games. no more dlc no more update.. and i really dont want that :(( i love ark and i know that there as so many more that does
People used to do it to empty a PvP server and get all their guys inside also to rollback the server 15 min back to not lose their things or to dupe.

Right as long as NITRADO hosts the servers and wildcard develops the game it will be a disaster. Once they give up and move on from patches to stop exploits the game will finally run smoothly

Reason #476 to move away from Nitrado, and get your own server box. They have always been trash, but for a company that makes so much money, why can't they use that money on better hardware? I left Nitado, and I haven't had any issues at all.
Bro I can play for like 30 mins on my own unofficial and be tha only kat in there and after those 30 mins are up my ping spikes to 500. This is on series x
My server crashed on me and I lost all my baby dinos on extinction. I’m not sure if I will be able to even contact wildcard to see if they can give those back.

Did get a couple of characters back that got deleted back in the day but that’s the extent of ticket help.

We dropped 94 Tek Rex eggs this weekend and ended up with 45 new babies and a new Stud for our Breeding pool and it was just horrid trying to deal with the crashes and lag issues. We lost 3 dreadnought babies do to the lag causing the green house carts not to recognize the trough and refresh the crop table (shows 0/100 looking at the trough 100/100 when you open it) so the animal thinks its empty. There are those of us trying to make the game successful and bring back the same love people had for the ASE. Very sad to have people who more than likely care nothing for the game and just want to see if fail out of a sense of vindictiveness because they spent a few hundred dollars on ASE over a decade and 20,000 hours of gameplay wasn't enough and ASA should have been free in there eyes... Th entitlement I have seen in some of circles online is astounding. It is so sad to see what can become a much better version of what ASE was getting so much abuse and those of us who hope to not see it fail can only hope enough people hang on through the rough times like these last few days.
Dude… lets not forget that WC themselves originally said the remaster would be a free upgrade. Then they slapped a $50 price tag on it, and to justify that, they bundled it with ARK 2-a game that has been delayed multiple times, has zero evidence of even being in an alpha state, and might never even release. On top of that, every remastered story DLC had to be purchased separately. Of course, people were mad-and many still are.
Not to mention, they also claimed the remaster was built from scratch, which turned out to be a blatant lie, as all of ASE’s problems carried over exactly the same into ASA.
And now, they’ve started selling premium creatures and "mini" DLCs (Bob’s Tales) with varying degrees of P2W, which are going to mess with both PvP and PvE more and more, as more of these are added. If this wasn't a big deal, just think about it, they limited Cryopod usage, only to then introduce Pyromane, which can be taken into caves -including areas that were previously inaccessible to creatures of that size and power without Cryopods. And since Cryofridges on platform saddles are no longer a thing, they introduced Dreadmare, a creature that’s basically a mobile Cryofridge.. It's a disgusting, scummy practice to take away something free and offer to give it back for money and I’m absolutely sure they’ll continue to develop the game in a way that intentionally leaves things out or makes them unnecessary complicated, just to sell the solutions later. I know they’re not a charity, but things could have been handled a lot more fairly and overall, much better. I, for one, love Ark and want it to succeed as a game, but the companies behind it (especially Snail) deserve to fall. When/If that happens hopefully, someone else can take over the game and finally do both it and its community justice.
P.S.: Despite all this, I still don’t agree with server attacks.

Jeremy the Studio Lead Tweeted out the Game was going to be getting a free UE5 upgrade from his personal twitter account which he should not have done because nothing had been solidified with how they where going to handle UE5 and Ark Yet. Honestly he was lucky they decided to not pursue legal if it would have been someone at a low position at the company they would have been terminated for sure.
I feel most sorry for the unofficial server owners and the admins. On my server people were in uproar. Loads of tickets. If there was ever a reason why nitrado should be the only one allowed to host ark.

My server was completely shut down (the island 5444) Wasn't even showing on the list of servers. They did some maintenance last night and seems better today (2-4-25)
and I"m just over here wondering why I cannot turn fires off (torches, forges etc) on my non dedicated game.
I haven't jumped on ASA in about 5 days but now idk if I really want to after hearing about everything that's happening

I have 88 nitrado servers currently, 66 of them are affected by this.. but the scary part was getting an email from nitrado asking me to remove my monthly payment information off the site, and change my passwords.. there is something fishy going on.. wildcard is probably happy because for maybe the very first time ever, its actually not their fault this time.
Hows it not there fault I don't play nitrado and I can't play for 5min without needing to save my game b4 it kicks me off. The game is so broken that single player games are even a joke. No mods Installed either

I like.to.know when I try to craft something it says 0 but.im.crafting it. And when I kill something, there is no drops like meat or hide etc. Nothing

A Mini Server like BeeLink is about $300 to $700 depending on how many servers you're intending to run. We have two and our mini server runs them without issue. Stop giving your $$$ to Nitrado.
Nobody is mentioning that premium overhaul like omega are broken all of the icons or thumbnails are missing in game
New update and deleted all my save progress on all maps smh I love the game and hate it .....
I dont have any problems yet,after the update i got more fps with the same settings were i was having 50 fps,now im having 60+fps.
So glad I refunded the game as soon as I bought it last year

Servers going down is 100% on shitrado. Their network is shit, unprotected.
Wildcard just cant code, cant do anything right, every update makes game worse.
I have a question, I use primal chaos and don't play on servers. I no longer see the engrams to unlock and the items in my inventory, I made the new update but NOTHING has changed. Do you know anything?
Open your inventory and look at the bottom and click on the arrow and select all inventory or show all. Sounds like you accidentally changed that setting. I think it’s at the bottom
@blazintrails3023 it's not like that, nothing appears to me. I see metal ingots but (for example) alpha blood I don't. the name appears but not the item nor the engrams. There was an update but nothing changed, here in Italy it's the same

What ever was in the fix also broken single player and self hosted server didn’t have a crash once now it crashes 2-3 times a hour with or without mods on official and mod maps doesn’t seem to matter

I haven't even been able to stream Ark because of all the issues. It's crashing my entire PC now too since after the recent patch. I've been playing since June, 2015. 23k+ Hours into Official PvE servers, for the vicious cycle to repeat over, and over, and over again. I love Ark, but I despise WC and more importantly Snail.
If anyone wants to join in on my law suit against wildcard and nitrado message me ive been playing ark seen i was little boy and to grow up as adult being 25 recently on asa i was playing on smalls and the devs and markets extorted me out of around 23 thousands dollars

Just went back to ASE. I never fought any bosses or completed any ascensions. Been watching Syntac to understand the game so I’ll be good for a year or so until they fix this game 😂👌🏾
