I really enjoy working for them so far. Totally flexible schedule. You get paid for no shows as long as you wait for them 15 min. They have great materials which makes teaching really easy. The students are almost universally respectful and hungry to learn. Very responsive and helpful support team. Everything is pretty straightforward, the rules are very clear and reasonably enforced. No shady contracts like a lot of other companies. Look the pay is not the best, but it’s great experience, especially if you’re starting out like me.
Great news! The demo class is a 10 min free conversation with the interviewer. You essentially want to demonstrate your conversational teaching skills. Be relaxed, smile, be positive, actively listen, and ask follow-up questions, just as you would do if you were meeting someone for the first time. All of Engoo’s demo lesson prep and training videos are posted on youtube under “Engoo Tutors” so you can go and have a look. There is also another tutor Nadine Victoria who has a really helpful channel. She did a series of 6 videos about Engoo, and I believe it’s episode 3 where she covers the demo lesson. Hello po. May updated video po ako about sa demo sa mas bagong upload ko po. Sa question mo , hindi mo nah kailangan lumabas ng lesson room,. Sasabihin ng student in the middle sa class nah gusto ko ng free talk. Make sure to ask questions nah wala sah daily news, better ask questions related sah hobby ni student nah malalaman mo during the introduction.
You'll have an access sa material po. During the demo, you'll ask your student kung anong material ang pipilian niya. There will be two demos, Daily News and free talk.

Hello Teach. You can't really review any lesson during the demo. But you will be given the lesson flow ahead of time. That's the same with the lesson flow in this video. I'd like to suggest familiariazing the flow in advance. Don't worry about the lesson material because it's just easy to navigate and teach.

Hello Ms. Nina! Tumatanggap po ang Engoo kahit walang experience. The training isn't one on one. May mga kasabay po kayong other tutors. But the demo is one on one. Another part of the Engoo team will act as a student. It will be conducted using Bellbird. This is the same environment for Engoo's actual classroom.

There will be a student's request. Sa student's request makikita ang uri ng mayerial na gusto no student pro himdi ang specific lesson, so during the class, you have to confirm your student'srequest and ask the dpecifi lesson from the cayegory they have indicated sa student's request.

Hello Teach, may penalty kapag absent ka. Pero walang penalty kapag hindi ka nakapagplot ng classes for how many days because you own your schedule. You can book as many or as less classes you want.

Hello teach, you'll get a reply after 1-3 days po. You should use Valids po like, voters , drivers license, passport, philhealth, sss, etc.

Is it okay po using internal camera of a laptop?
It's ok po Teach if maganda ang quality ng internal cam mo. HD camera po ang required. My mga internal cam kc nah may delay and pixelated.
