    Just picked up my Nina last week. The sound is the best I have heard in a synth in a long long while. The Nina may very well become a superstar like the Access Virus.

      It is quite an incredible synth, that I finally *got* when I experienced it in person.

    One of the coolest Poly synths around. That SNES Contra Alien Wars intro patch at 7:00 min that came up was so sweet. NINA is one of a kind. Very cool

      I was seriously impressed. I generally recommend budget gear, but Nina's quality was jaw-dropping, and so intelligently laid out.

      It's truly changing the market - one day all synths will be like this

    I wish I had a chance to try this out when I was there, but every time I walked by, there were people at the synth! Thanks Alex for capturing the salient points on Nina, and your reaction to the motorized knob feel was great! :) Looks and sounds like a fantastic synth...

      I think it's one of the better premium synths out right now, and my choice for which one I'd get if I had $5k laying around lol. The trouble is the target market, I see those who will spend whatever getting the OB-X8's and Quantums, and the next step down, the serious synthesists, getting something like your PolyBrute, for $1,000 cheaper.

      @@VultureCulture agree fully, and one reason the Polybrute was so compelling when I got it a couple years ago. Now I'm wanting the polyphony, so NINA does look pretty attractive, aside from the awesome motorized knobs!

    Sounds insane. Really love the character. Quite a unique instrument. I would love something like this but too pricey for me. Someday maybe.

    • @VultureCulture
      @VultureCulture  8 місяців тому

      Sort of like a 12-voice Trigon but with that flexible digital oscillator from the Prologue. Not cheap! But I could actually see buying one of these.

      @@VultureCulture It’s tempting to sell my Matriarch and go for one.

      @@VultureCulture Heh, yeah, I knew that would get a reaction. I would hesitate before doing something like that. The nina is 4-part multi-timbral though. And 12 voices, morphing, that sound, wavetables. And the hands on mod matrix. Hoo-boy.

    • @VultureCulture
      @VultureCulture  8 місяців тому

      @aquaticborealis4877 I really "got it" when I hit the mod matrix button and all the knobs jumped to neutral so you could add positive or negative modulation to anything. So cool and easy to understand.

    Morph feature & motor- encoders . That thing might be, I assume about 4000,- in €

    I’m curious to see how many returns there will be from these motorized pots going bad. I love the idea but I’m pretty skeptical.

      I can say after using it that it felt built like a tank. I don't foresee them being an issue for a long time.

    Is there any possibility of adding an option not to lose the bass when increasing resonance with the ladder filter?

    • @VultureCulture
      @VultureCulture  6 місяців тому

      Not currently as far as I'm aware although it could be addressed in an update.

      @@VultureCulture I wasn’t sure if it could with the filler being analog but I’m not sure how it’s done

    • @VultureCulture
      @VultureCulture  6 місяців тому

      @MadelnMachines I don't think resonance compensation happens in the analog domain even on a synth like the 3rd Wave 🌊
