This is going to be interesting, we have good old Italian tech tree Progetto 65 with 3 shell autoloader and on the other side we have premium version, Carro 45t with 4 shell autoloader and bigger alpha damage. Let's see which tank is better in update 10.4.1.

Prog has better dpm when you dump the clip, not when you conserve and fire. Making it superior in most dpm race dogfights where you have the upper hand with Three whole shells plus the single shot dmg similar to the 121B which is 6.1 seconds with 350 alpha (Vents).
Carro on the other hand is a freak of nature, dumping four shells will basically guarantee you a kill against LTs and low health MTs while you have to survive for the remainder of the reloading down time. The only bonus is that you have actual troll armor on the hull and turret. Dpm wise, really weak. But alpha is good for trades.

I personally love the Carro, its my favorite med and one of my favorite tanks in game

Objectively, the Carro 45t is much better than the Progetto. Nevertheless, it's interesting to see a duel between the two.
