this gives WAYY more life than anything alex has added in the game. i think yandev needs to understand that we don't need more quality of life updates, we need updates that give the game and its characters nuance and meaning and a reason to care abt them/hate them. it's hard to care abt what happens to a school filled w npcs suffering from same-face syndrome walking around like cmon now imo this vid is a work of art, literally gives yan sim life, gj
@potatointhepocket there is absolutely 0 negativity in my comment. i think you're looking for something that isn't there. you expect every critical comment to be a negative one, so you act like every critical comment is a negative one - which, ironically, my comment is neither of them. i literally just said what the fans want in the game, as evident by the numbers mica's videos are doing right now, and talked about one major problem that stops fans from connecting deeply w the students at ayano's high school. THAT WAS ALL. don't blindly defend a game and its developer. think about why exactly the game and its developer are subject to so many "negative" comments and do some research, instead of wasting your time commenting about things that aren't there. yandere dev isn't paying u to be his social media manager. there are other things you can do with your life instead of blindly defending someone that doesn't know you. now THAT was negative. have a good day
@@kirari8073 Yeah well it was still unneeded. You know what the fans _also_ want? To enjoy fan content without constant allusions to the developer and commentary on the base game. No one's opinion on the developer matters, just enjoy the content. It's not that hard.
I really like the student sanity thing. It always bothered me as to why students wouldn't seem traumatised or scarred after seeing the things Ayano does
i like the fainting idea, but personally i dislike the reputation lost. instead, maybe students would keep a closer eye on you (so it would be harder to kill people), you can’t join certain clubs (like the sports club, martial arts etc!)
Yeah, because people would be worried about her. I think you could also foreshadow this with the other student who constantly gets sent to the nurses office.
Yeah I think results would vary depending on which students you're around if you are near a more caring student then they would watch you more incase you faint but if your near a bully then they would seee you ad weak
True, but also I feel like it makes sense. In my school I experienced 3 people passing out from being too hot + my classmate from apparently not eating? And it usually ended with people making fun of them for a day or two then forgetting about it.
in my experience (as someone who has dealt with fainting spells) fainting for a legitimate reason (not overly dramatic flailing, obviously fake fainting) causes concern, not bullying, because people tend to be more worried over whether the person is hurt, and it's also because it's usually linked with a medical condition (mine is low blood sugar). it doesn't really make much sense for her reputation to drop or to be considered weak for fainting, especially if it only happens once or twice. both times i've fainted at school (in two different schools in two different countries no less) led to concern and curiosity, not bullying
ok u have a good point. except that is how bullying works in this game. for example, one of the delinquents got bullied for breaking his arm & being seen as weak.
This is a Japanese high school, though. I am sure the values are different there. Diligence in attending classes and having good grades is extremely crucial. Way more than in western countries. Missing classes is only reserved for absolute emergencies, and even in those cases, it is still badly seen.
@@serena841 sorry i should have clarified. one of those schools was in japan, and i'd say that falling unconscious and being unable to get up and go to class counted as an emergency, considering i was, you know, unconscious
@@GrayC_2478 there's also a difference between a delinquent, who uses their intimidation as a way to avoid being picked on, and most other students (including ayano), who usually have a combination of the "respected" and "liked" reputation categories in the game. a bully or a delinquent (who are feared and not much else) would have a lower reputation and are more likely to be picked on because they loose their "feared" aspects of their reputation, while the other students (for the most part) wouldn't have to deal with those kinds of consiquences. while on the topic, fainting isn't on the same level as breaking a bone (speaking from experience on both) and they tend to have much different reactions
Yeah maybe the feature could instead be that fainting too much makes it so that students may be more inclined to notice you and the more friendly ones may even follow you as they are concerned that Ayano will get another fainting spell whether randomly or from excessive physical activity (so like if you carry a heavy weapon like a dumbbell, a student may approach you to take the weapon off you after fainting like 3-4 times if you're seen with it. This could be annoying as you intended to use that weapon or helpful to frame them) You could also be barred from clubs like the Sports and Martial Arts club if you have enough fainting spells as they don't think the clubs will be good for her health
Can we all just appreciate the time, care and creativity that goes into these revamps/concepts? Mica, you are a special one, looking forward to more concepts made you in the future, I say with enthusiasm 😀
Also game over that one of her relatives will eventually know what is happening to her lately so if it's a man.......it's gonna be game over since they might secretly make her drop out of school and never see Taro again. (I hope it makes sense)
2:29 make sense, since Ayano would know how much of a threat these people are for her success, you may as well make teachers/ student council, and the headmaster see easily
I think students would get a little damage to their sanity when they call a teacher, but you disposed of a c0rpse, so teacher wont believe to a student and they will feel more fear resulting to lose a little bit of sanity
The sanity resistance idea is really interesting! Like the cooking club would be making his favorite snack, the drama club would probably be acting out a romance, the music club would be playing/singing a love song, etc. Maybe this idea could work with places around the school that make Ayano think of Taro (his desk, where he sits for lunch, the cherry tree)
Another idea I had for her sanity is that Ayano’s ponytail would fall out the more lower her sanity goes and she can fix it bye going to a hallway mirror of bathroom mirror Edit: thanks for the likes💗💟
This sounds silly but it actually makes sense? The more her sanity lowers, the more she's visibly disheveled and messy looking, which then further arouses suspicions that something is wrong with her.
I’m not sure about the vision thing getting clearer as weeks pass on, cuz that would make later game easier rather than more challenging which goes against the whole concept of rivals’ difficulty escalating throughout the game. As for sanity related mechanics, what if instead of going up, Ayano’s sanity actually goes down over time? Since Ayano is a yandere she would naturally want to stalk Senpai, and if Senpai is out of her vision for a long period of time, Ayano’s sanity starts dropping as she starts to lose the capability to feel emotions and that drives her insane. This would make Senpai’s presence more relevant to gameplay since it’s weird that right now players just ignore him and see him as unimportant to gameplay when he is supposed to be really important to Ayano herself. This would also make gameplay more interesting, as Ayano has to keep a certain distance away from Senpai so he doesn’t notice her acting weird while still having to maintain her sanity.
With the vision thing, It's not like it would be the only thing happening. As weeks pass, the rivals get more complicated, and their eliminations become harder, and the vision becoming clearer would feel more rewarding, and made it even slightly easier. The difficulty can rise and still give the player advantages. Without them, it's just kinda sadistic, and Yansim is not Dark Souls .
Adding Difficulty also tends to give you things to combat that. A game isn't going to give you a level one wooden sword and expect you to beat the level 100 final boss. Even with good gear/ better skills in a game a final boss could be really challenging
@@prcervi ofc it would be easier to deal with, having the ability to observe your rival’s and other NPCs’ routines far away would make eliminating the rival much easier, like you would get a whole picture of how many students would be around the rival at specific time and locations, and which areas are secluded and visited by the rival often. If you are stuck with the blurry vision you can’t even locate your rival or know the exact number of NPCs around her, planning how to take her out would be much harder
@@otterpopgames7 you have to consider the changes in the difficulty curve, like players in the beginning have blurry vision so they literally cannot observe NPCs’ routines from afar and have to follow them. In late game however players basically have god vision where they can know the exact number of NPCs around the rival and know their exact location & movement. It’s also expected at this point that players are very familiar with the map now, so navigation is already made easier. If later rivals are much more predictable than the early game rivals then the level of engagement would gradually drop, and the gaming experience isn’t going to be pleasant.
Another interesting concept that I would like to see is random students going to the bathroom at random times of the day. Not only will this make it harder for the player to hide corpses in the bathroom, it’ll make the game more life-like.
Randomness of students routines may not be good in a stealth game cuz predictability of NPCs behaviours is what allows players to plan and strategise. I imagine it would be frustrating if players are hiding corpses in the bathroom then suddenly a student walks in unannounced. Maybe the same set of students would go to the bathroom in specific lessons so players can predict it beforehand
@@Anna-kz7km Like maybe it can be like random students go to the bathroom between a specific time period such as between 15 minutes after clsss starts and 15 minutes before it ends. The HS I went to wouldnt let us use the bathroom until it was 10 minutes after the class started and we also couldnt use the bathroom if there was 10 minutes left of class. I believe this was to prevent skipping but its quite odd for some people who didn’t have this bathroom pass policy in HS.
@@Anna-kz7km Perhaps to fix this, the students would probably say if they were going to the bathroom, so as to not add unfairness to the stealth aspect of the game. They'd have the animation a poisoned student would have (slightly lowered head and hand to the chest) to indicate it further. They would do the same thing when outside class, too. This would fix the luck aspect, and also make it a bit more realistic too. If you were in school, unless you're alone or not in class, why would you not say if you're going to the bathroom?
Yeah, the school bathroom would not be a good place to hide a body simply for the fact that people just lounge in there for like the entire day a lot of the time. Or at least, that’s been my experience with school bathrooms.
@@Anna-kz7kmI believe in a video, yandere dev said that getting away with murder is not easy. It would be better for some troublemaker students, for example, the bullies or the blond hair kids to sometimes stay in one of the bathrooms during class time. A bathroom they would probably avoid is the third floor bathroom as it is quite literally haunted. This would make it harder for the player to hide bodies on the second and first floor bathroom. The third floor bathroom would be a better hiding place as people would avoid it due to the many rumors.
9:25 Taro is indeed into plants. He likes gardening and is into nature, and the Dev confirmed that he'd likely join the gardening club, and also that he'd be in a relationship with Uekiya if Ayano and her rivals didn't exist. This also means that Miyuji Shan is the only female club leader who wouldn't be a potential love interest for Taro. ^^

@@rileysjonger4192yandev has stated that the rivals are supposed to be his harem (he might have been joking but still weird to say since he’s pushing 30 and the rivals are in highschool)
My thoughts: I like the lore change to fit yandere vision and that's all i would say. I also like the idea that when you start, it's gonna look a little blurry and that it'll get more clear during the 10 weeks. But I would also have an improvement of if you were to use it more often, it'll get more clear quicker. I also like the idea of multiple animations of her struggling until she faints. I also think the late pass seems a bit off for some reason. Maybe it's because it feels overpowered when you need to dispose of something like a body or a weapon.
Maybe along with getting sent to the GC for giving an expired late pass you could also be sent there for having too many. Teachers being like "That's the [number] time this week! Clearly you are trying to get out of class, and I'd like to know what the guidance counselor would like to say about that"
@@otterpopgames7yeah and if the player just messed up a lot of times, the guidance counsellor can advice her not to come to school when she’s “un-well” and force her to go home (its going to create a disadvantage to the player since their kicked out of school for a day or two.)
The idea with 6:34 sounds great! And since I have nothing else to do and you said it might depend on different persona types, I wrote one for all of the personas: Coward-They're sanity goes down easier then other students (like social butterflies or other types), but other then that they act like how you said it. Fragile-Goes down even easier then cowardly students, with too low sanity they would pay attention to footsteps in quiet areas, and turn around to any noise. Heroic-Sanity goes down normal speed, but their self defense level increases a bit. Loner-Normal going down speed, but if they see you doing something suspicious they might think something abt you Lovestruck-I don't really know how to explain this one, depends on the rival Protective-Sanity goes down normal speed, but they pay attention to noise more often and self defense level increases a bit Sleuth-Normal going down sanity speed, pay attention to noises, other then that just like you said Social butterfly-Just like you said Phone addict-If its the bullies and they see you do something suspicious, your rep goes down a bit since they gossip abt you. Other then that just like social butterfly Spiteful-Like loner but pays attention to noises as well Idk abt teachers, Teachers pet-Tell the teacher their thoughts, 100% Dangerous-Like you explained but sanity speed goes down less then others (aka sus actions result in less sanity lost then average) Violent-Not even worried, sanity goes down less. Snitch-Like social butterfly Stalker-Has low sanity alr, idk much for this one Devoted-this one is for the Aishi family and we play as those and this is for the npc's
i like the nurse office pass concept, I believe thinks happen if ayano messes with the delinquents and fails to get sent there instead of getting a comatose
I really liked the Vision one, tho I'm not convinced by the Sanity one. Still, we should appreciate the amount of detail and effort you put into this video. I hope to see more of it 💕
I don't like this portrayal of medicine as someone with physical and mental health issues who takes medication in my daily life. People have this over glorified version of medicine in their heads or they present it in a demonizing way. Same with mental health conditions. If Ayano's condition is serious enough that it causes her to faint then she shouldn't just take any old drug. That is stupid and dangerous. Especially if her condition causes her to faint from over use. The drug she took could have had an adverse effect on her body and worsened her condition. If improperly medicated or directed in the number she should take a day she could get sick, die, or become addicted. When you start strong mind/body altering medications you will first be hit with adverse side effects. Making you woozy or dizzy until it fully kicks in because your mind and body are veing rewired by a foreign agent. There's also the chance your body could violently reject the medication. Also in Japan it isn't so easy to get your hands on drugs. You need a Doctor's permission and the store bought ones are for minor things. Like colds, flus, and other common ailments. Nothing major like that would have been available for Ayano to just buy all willy nilly. These portrayals of medicine are extremely dangerous, illogical, and promote misinformation. Change in condition is helped along by medicine, yes, but a majority of it is determined by your will power. You have to WANT to get better and make active changes to your life. It isn't an instant cure.
@@nobinary2296 I don't think I need to tell you this but, it is a game. Murder is portrayed as trivially easy compared to real life and no one complains cause it is a game.
@@sashaenglebert I am aware its a game but I actively run into people who believe in things they find in media, games, the internet, or on TV these days. Also medication has always been portrayed this way and I even have people IRL who treat me differently once they hear I am on medication for physical and mental health issues. A large amount of the community has a very horrible portrayal of us that they are brought up to believe by media. I once knew someone who had their medication confiscated by a teacher and even after their parents reamed them out they still tried to treat that student differently. Or like their problems are all "made up", "is all in their head", or "propaganda from the woke mob". So when I say this, despite how ridiculous it sounds to YOU or ME, I encourage people to not perpetuate these things or at least leave a disclaimer that this isn't an accurate portrayal of how medicine works. I mean remember all the kids AND adults who fed their parrots chocolate chip cookies because they saw it in Minecraft?? So as much as you and I know it's just a game? Humanity has proven itself to be a little.... Odd sometimes. So it's just a precaution from someone who gets harassed in their daily life about these things. No hard feelings.
@@nobinary2296 If we had to worry about every single mentally challenged person who cannot discern between reality and fiction, we won't be able to make movies/books/games about anything. This game wouldn't even exist cause "what if someone thinks that the right way to get loved is to kill everyone around the?"
Honestly I could see the fact a student’s sanity drop after seeing suspicious things an elongation method. If a rival sees too many suspicious things they would stop going to school out of fear or because they killed themselves. Therefore the revival would be considered eliminated.
I think that the Hospital Ending can have 2 conclusions depending on in which part of the game the player was on, allow me to explain -If you didn't eliminated the last rival, then the bad ending will take place, where Ayano loses her Senpai -If you had eliminated the last rival, then another ending will take place, where when Ayano finally is discharged from the hospital and she confess to her Senpai It's just an idea tho
I like this concept but instead of confessing to senpai I imagine that the player would automatically skip to the exact day next week. (If she was sent to the doctors on Monday then she'll be discharged next Monday.) If they elimited their current rival then they'll have no issue and start the next week possibly missing opportunities to do something like boost their subject stats, read manga, Earn money etc. If they didn't then its game over as the rival would confess to Senpai. This could be altered if she gets caught 1 more time and just be an instant game over. (Or skip straight away to next week Friday giving the player 1 final chance)
I think laughter is not worth cutting out. Here's a little refinement of the concept: With the help of laughter, you can temporarily raise sanity to 40%, and run to some place where you can really restore sanity to 50%. Medicine will be very expensive and will not recover instantly, 30% in 1 minute. Also, by taking a book from the library and retiring in some places (library, labyrinth, near deserted fountains), Ayano can mask his madness (as if immersed in a story) and forget about recent actions, restoring another 20%. Thus, the restoration of sanity after a serial murder before the arrival of the police will be a very difficult process, but not so suspicious. And thanks for the video!
i really like the idea of sanity resistance and doing things that remind ayano of taro. however, giving it random numbers depending on what week it is would seem a little ... inconsistent for newer players (thus scaring them away from the mechanic) and definitely difficult to put into gameplay. i think that-similar to medicine-it should decrease its effectiveness after each use. i still really like the idea, though! i do feel as if there probably needs to be slightly more effects added for sanity (negative or positive) to make it important to have sanity resistance...maybe make the yanvision blurrier/harder to make out when lower? colors are already desaturated with low sanity, so it would make sense for the same logic to apply to yanvision. :p anyways, i love these ideas... (a snap mode for the hospital ending sounds really cool, but it would probably end up with ayano actually arrested)
a little idea came into my head for the nurse’s note (which may have realistic flaws), why not get info chan to forge late passes for ayano? i think that it would give the player an advantage to say, clean up during class time but still have the lowered reputation penalty. the first time ayano receives a late pass she can quickly go to info chan’s room and info chan could get a copy and give back the original pass. so, in the future a late pass could be an option through info chan’s drops.
I have an idea for one of the concepts. With the nurse one, if Ayano visits the nurse the second time, she will get the medicine probably if the nurse thinks it is necessary. (It's okay if this dosn't seem interesting or i seem like I'm saying the concept was weird. The concepts were amazing!)
im not gonna lie but i absolutely adore this concept so much! especially the "getting caught with low sanity" and "using the yandere vision for too long. although i believe that the students sanity concept here would be quite abusable..? as it only takes a few corpses or suspicious stuff to bring their sanity all the way down. regardless, it's still an interesting concept!
ideas i had to improve upon these mechanics: ayano's vision should get more defined as she is using it and her body is strained (like, the more she uses it, the more defined her vision gets, and at its very peak she passes out instead of lowering her rep, she should be under supervision to make sure she isn't injured after 2+ times to heighten her vision skills faster, she should be able to do something in her room like using one of those eye charts the optometrists have to strengthen her ability. then, the player can choose whether they want a more powerful vision or they want better stamina for the vision. rather than sanity depleting more, ayano's "maximum" sanity should get progressively lower. like, some people's phone batteries can't hold a full charge after many uses, sometimes it can dip down to 95%, 90%, 85%, etc. this is how ayano's sanity should be -- it should progressively be able to hold less and less after each murder she commits. i also believe that an "insane" ayano should trigger something similar to snap mode, where if she goes too close to a person she immediately kills them. the ending concept about examination would be great!! it would be an immediate fail, which means that it would definitely set back the usage of the vision.
Just an idea, when you get on the bullies good side, they say nice things about you on Yangram. If you aren’t on the good side, they comment bad things. If you’re neutral they still say nice things. However, if you have a good rep and did all tasks (custom if it’s ok) they boost your reputation and the next day ask 4 ur number and tells you to meet in the 3rd floor bathroom (where they usually gossip) and hove info bout Osana! This is just an thought, but if you want, I’d be very grateful if you did it!
all of this is explained so thoroughly, and i love all the details and different outcomes. very interesting and inspiring! loved watching the whole video :D
This is a wonderful idea that’s thought through! I think this would have a whole new feel on the game but in a good way! More serious and more using the options that are in the game
love your thought processes and how you apply things, but exactly because of that i gotta comment on the reputation down after vision excess: it'd make more sense if it made her throw up, and because of that students make fun of her (average high schooler bullshit), being seen as weak and bullied because of it is a huge leap in the realism (in my high school experience nobody gave a shit about students who passed out occasionally, but throw up once and for a few weeks youre the butt of every joke) as for medicine, maybe an addiction mechanic? if you use it too much she becomes unable to stabilize without medicine, if it goes too far she starts losing sanity if she goes too long without having any. and if you reach a certain point you get a "sent to rehab" game over
Here are a few things I thought about when ayano in a club but has to end so students can go to class I feel instead of time skip to apper in class the leader well force ayano by pushing or pulling ayano arm to drag her out and lock the doors ( i think all club doors should be lock when the club is or isn't in session ) and we'll follow ayano to class that if she chooses to not go to class when both of them become late the leader well become frustrated and asking for ayano keys back basically kicking her put of the club ( you must be a member in order to have easy access to a club but only for the one club that your or in)

absolutely loved your concepts, you have more creativity in your fingertips than Alex has overall. Especially liked the vision stuff and the "normal pills" lol
I think instead of being able to buy the meds, it could be something you get if you pass out enough (with low sanity.) Doctors will give you a check up due to the fainting spells and prescribe you a medication. The way it gets harder to obtain late game is your perscription is wearing off and the doctors don't want to refill it in case you get addicted
This is great! But just for some clarity, there is some already established backstory for the Yandere Vision. It's that Ayano/Ryoba see the world differently than others, so that they can utilize their environments to execute their plans, i.e., see objects outlined as potential weapons, see the outlines of people as potential obstacles, etc. And I don't think there should be a limit as to how many times Ayano is able to be sent to the nurses office, because that pink haired student Otohiko, in his description, it states how he's always in the nurses office due to being a sick and frailly boy, meaning that despite being sick all the time, he's allowed in there as much as he likes so long as he has an illness. It wouldn't make sense for a prestigious school to penalize sick students, especially since their sickness is out of their control. The low reputation bar is a good counter-balance to penalizing the player for abusing the Yandere Vision feature, so I think that should remain as the only problem the player should encounter. Otherwise, great video!
I always thought Otohiko had low blood sugar, and in turn had a damn good excuse to rest in the nurse's office. Since Ayano doesn't have that (by lab results) she would raise suspicion.
@@rh1nestone3yes I don't know. But if someone kept going to the infirmary because of illness (regardless if they've been officially diagnosed with something or not), it would still be an indicator that that person isn't healthy. Because if someone is fainting a lot in school, with or without diagnosis, they are still unwell. So it wouldn't be a big deal if Ayano is in the nurses office, even if lab results show no illness, because there's clearly something wrong if she keeps fainting. But if we go by this videos made-up lore, then she would have an actual diagnosis she could use as an excuse; her hyper-keen ability thingy.
@@rileysjonger4192 Wasn't it stated that Ryoba didn't tell the doctors about the vision thing? I do agree on the infirmary thing, but Ayano wouldn't be able to get a real diagnostic conclusion if Ryoba or Jokichi don't say anything
@@rh1nestone3yes If in the situation Ryoba did tell the doctors, then it would've been diagnosed. If not, then Ayano wouldn't have any form of proof of having an illness. She'd likely have to get diagnosed in the future by herself after her first collapse, so that she could be prescribed medication and I suppose, have an excuse to be in the infirmary if she abuses her vision again in future times
Those are the best concepts of Yandere Simulator I’ve ever seen!!! After watching all those Yandere mods and Yandere concepts, this is the one I find more developed, useful and interesting. I can’t imagine how much work it took, nice¡¡!
some of these ideas are really good (not that I dislike the others, it's just that some of these are REALLY good) the art/gardening club having new benefits where the player can restore their sanity is great. this gives better functionality to those clubs and is a good step towards rebalancing them. (clubs are kinda weak as new items are replacing their purpose) it's like a choice, join the art club and be able to preserve your sanity and walk around bloody....or join the gardening club and be able to preserve your sanity and have useful tools. although in general the occult club is kinda obsolete with all of this...but that club needs some rebalancing too like maybe people are scared of occult members and lose their hero personas around them so you can get away with blatant murder easier. (ok enough of my tangent lol)
wow I didn't realize people still made videos on this. I remember being much younger and watching tons of lets plays of it for some reason. Prolly just because it was on my recommended. Anyway, your revamps look really cool :>
The fandom having good ideas than the developer himself is something, something disappointing, like the developer is just lazy on the game(which is true)
Hi! So your ideas and concepts are very interesting, and they're really well thought out! I just want to kind of remind you, that the Yandere Vision isn't actually some sort of super power, and it's just a type of visual representation to aid the players. It's kinda like, you know who someone is, and you know their routine, so you would know where they would be at certain periods of time, that's why you can see their outlines through walls.
A year late but I love this concept! The visions part is excellent, I like how there can be an immediate ending if it is used too much! It really adds to the lore and makes it more challenging. I also personally like the sanity feature, where in any club you join, there's a quick fix for some sanity loss! Whilst the laughing is iconic, I think it is a little janky and weird. I do think the heavy reputation loss is a little off, I think if thwre was gonna be loss of reputation, it would only be, say 5 points. And I think the medicine part may need some more thinking!
It would also intensify if Ayano were to experience nosebleeds as Max does in Life Is Strange the longer she uses her powers. This is a very nice concept!
So I mentioned this in a replies section but I think it would be really cool that rather than bullying is the consequence for excessive fainting, the students should start to see you as frail and weak so they are more inclined to notice things the player does especially if said thing could be considered risky to their health such as carrying heavy weapons like dumbbells. Maybe if you're spotted by a friendly student carrying a heavy weapon, they will be concerned about you and take the weapon off you to return it. There could however be a benefit to the students seeing you as frail and weak like if you're crawling on the floor, students will assume you nearly fainted or feel weak and won't penalize your reputation for it. Furthermore if you have blood on you when no bodies have been discovered yet, they might think you had a nose bleed or something and tell you to go to the nurse and depending on the student they'll leave you alone after saying that or they'll follow you until you go to the nurse (which in the latter's case is a disadvantage)
these are AWESOME!! I love the lore that you give the game. and these ideas are just so creative! I hope that in the future we get cool mechanics like this AND an actually interesting story that makes sense, bc I was always sorta confused by yansim lore tbh lol
For the sanity part: Students (and ayano) could regain some lost sanity by talking with the counselor about what theyre going through. Less extreme cases could result in student regaining lost sanity in a short amount of time, ranging anywhere from a few days to a week. More extreme cases would result in students taking a longer time regain lost sanity, with ranging between a week to a two weeks to maybe even a month. Other factors would also include: 1.what they saw: corpse, blood, weapon, body part, etc. 2.relationship to victim: if its a body, did they know the victim? Were they a friend, family, classmate, acquaintance, rival, enemy, personal vendetta? This i feel this would greatly impact how much sanity a student loses and how long it would take for them to recover 3.how many friends does the student have? Do they have a lot of friends they can talk to? Can they open up to their friends about their issues? -A high friend count would mean more sanity regaind. -A low friend count however would mean, the student would feels less inclined to talk about their feeling so sanity takes longer to regain 4.whats the students personality? Different students would have their sanity affected differently. More outgoing students would be more inclined to share their thoughts and feelings with others, while more reserved students would try to shoulder their problems on their own. NOW sanity would lower faster with this because the weight of their problems would become more emotionally draining over time, hence faster sanity reduction The sanity would also give ayano better leverage in manipulating students. If the student recently had a fight or negative experience with the victim, they would probably feel guilty or like they caused the victims death in some way. Ayano could use this as blackmail against the student. Some students could even have "breakdowns" if exposed to "triggers", examples: -A student dies and their friend sees/hears a favorite food, or a favorite song, color, toy, movie. -This would cause the student to start crying and they may have to leave the room or be escorted by a teacher to the infirmary. -The stronger the relationship, the harder the breakdown. Sanity could also be influenced by mental traits like paranoia, anxiety, depression, anger. This would make students more cecepptible to blackmail and manipulation. Sanity can also be affected by objects or items. If a student goes missing and they have a sibling in school, the sibling might wear a favorite hairclip or bracelet, or band shirt, or ring. Thus could give the student hope that their loved one is still alive and their sanity could increase. Destroying that could could break or severely damage that students mental state. Sanity would also play into the whole mindslave elimination with students having lower sanity being easier to break. If it isnt already obvious, i think the student sanity function is an untapped resource that is vital for yandere simulator. It would also serve to add depth the other characters and make the school feel more alive and like an actual place. I also think it'll add more depth to the conselor. She'll feel like an actual person that students can come to to talk about their problems be it family disputes, academic concerns, grief, emotional turmoil, personal affairs such as gender, sexuality, iep or ilp, parental divorce. Some students may feel more comfortable talking with the counselor than others, depending on how often they visit the counselor. Ayano could also place bugs in the counselors office, and learn information on certain students to blackmail, manipulate, or convert to mindslave. There is so much potential with the sanity function that is left untouched and that is just criminal. Iep= individual education plan Ilp= individual learning plan
the vision lore is a NEED!!!! we should petition for the developer to add this to the game no matter the costs cuz the lore u made adds soo much flavor and value to the game, and i mean it sincerely
I love your video, you have so much imagination!!! I love the "late pass" and the little backstory to the vision... u even created some animations and all... i leave a like :))
this gives WAYY more life than anything alex has added in the game. i think yandev needs to understand that we don't need more quality of life updates, we need updates that give the game and its characters nuance and meaning and a reason to care abt them/hate them.
it's hard to care abt what happens to a school filled w npcs suffering from same-face syndrome walking around like cmon now
imo this vid is a work of art, literally gives yan sim life, gj
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!❤🤭

I really like the student sanity thing. It always bothered me as to why students wouldn't seem traumatised or scarred after seeing the things Ayano does
But fr like if I ever saw a dead body in my highschool I would be terrified to be the next one
i like the fainting idea, but personally i dislike the reputation lost. instead, maybe students would keep a closer eye on you (so it would be harder to kill people), you can’t join certain clubs (like the sports club, martial arts etc!)
Yeah, because people would be worried about her. I think you could also foreshadow this with the other student who constantly gets sent to the nurses office.
It could also rise her reputation instead, because of this!
Yeah I think results would vary depending on which students you're around if you are near a more caring student then they would watch you more incase you faint but if your near a bully then they would seee you ad weak
finally someone having a good idea, you cant loose your entire reputation because you got sick once
This could be annoying as you intended to use that weapon or helpful to frame them)
You could also be barred from clubs like the Sports and Martial Arts club if you have enough fainting spells as they don't think the clubs will be good for her health
Can we all just appreciate the time, care and creativity that goes into these revamps/concepts? Mica, you are a special one, looking forward to more concepts made you in the future, I say with enthusiasm 😀

Wouldnt the hospital ending be considered a bad ending as well? Because that could also stop Ayano from being with Senpai.
Maybe there could be an escape option idk
yeah i assume that is what they meant but i am not sure
I guess they went for making from her experimental rabbit so yeah
Also game over that one of her relatives will eventually know what is happening to her lately so if it's a man.......it's gonna be game over since they might secretly make her drop out of school and never see Taro again. (I hope it makes sense)
I’m thinking that to be able to escape she must eliminate them
2:29 make sense, since Ayano would know how much of a threat these people are for her success, you may as well make teachers/ student council, and the headmaster see easily
I think students would get a little damage to their sanity when they call a teacher, but you disposed of a c0rpse, so teacher wont believe to a student and they will feel more fear resulting to lose a little bit of sanity
Or that they start to doubt their own feelings being like “was that really fake? I saw a body, but nothings there anymore, am I going crazy?”
Another idea I had for her sanity is that Ayano’s ponytail would fall out the more lower her sanity goes and she can fix it bye going to a hallway mirror of bathroom mirror
Edit: thanks for the likes💗💟
what
this comment is so funny SNKJDANSD
??? Would her hair tie run away?? Like
This sounds silly but it actually makes sense? The more her sanity lowers, the more she's visibly disheveled and messy looking, which then further arouses suspicions that something is wrong with her.
@@chillfactory9000 for having a low ponytail,,?
With the vision thing,
It's not like it would be the only thing happening.
Even with good gear/ better skills in a game a final boss could be really challenging
just because you'll be able to more reliably spot a thing doesn't mean it'll be easier to deal with
@@prcervi ofc it would be easier to deal with, having the ability to observe your rival’s and other NPCs’ routines far away would make eliminating the rival much easier, like you would get a whole picture of how many students would be around the rival at specific time and locations, and which areas are secluded and visited by the rival often.
This is the BEST game mechanic concept for this game that Ive ever seen. You dropped your crown, love.
well she ain't for the time being, i wouldn't put it pass yandev trying to make his self insert that overly adored
@@prcervi okay? and in what way is taro a self insert? alex isn't a kind, tolerant, nature-loving pacifist who doesn't use technology.

@@rileysjonger4192yandev has stated that the rivals are supposed to be his harem (he might have been joking but still weird to say since he’s pushing 30 and the rivals are in highschool)
another idea for sanity resistance is looking at the shrine she has in her room! messing with the items, etc..
when he said "i want to examine her more" my dirty mind activated💀-😭
My thoughts:
I like the lore change to fit yandere vision and that's all i would say.
Clearly you are trying to get out of class, and I'd like to know what the guidance counselor would like to say about that"
@@otterpopgames7yeah and if the player just messed up a lot of times, the guidance counsellor can advice her not to come to school when she’s “un-well” and force her to go home (its going to create a disadvantage to the player since their kicked out of school for a day or two.)
this is amazing 🤩 spectacular! 👏👏👏

This idea is so great, it gives more meaning to the game and it makes the game more challenging which is fun
The idea with 6:34 sounds great! And since I have nothing else to do and you said it might depend on different persona types, I wrote one for all of the personas:
Coward-They're sanity goes down easier then other students (like social butterflies or other types), but other then that they act like how you said it.
Fragile-Goes down even easier then cowardly students, with too low sanity they would pay attention to footsteps in quiet areas, and turn around to any noise.
Heroic-Sanity goes down normal speed, but their self defense level increases a bit.
Loner-Normal going down speed, but if they see you doing something suspicious they might think something abt you
Lovestruck-I don't really know how to explain this one, depends on the rival
Protective-Sanity goes down normal speed, but they pay attention to noise more often and self defense level increases a bit
Sleuth-Normal going down sanity speed, pay attention to noises, other then that just like you said
Social butterfly-Just like you said
Phone addict-If its the bullies and they see you do something suspicious, your rep goes down a bit since they gossip abt you. Other then that just like social butterfly
Spiteful-Like loner but pays attention to noises as well
Idk abt teachers,
Teachers pet-Tell the teacher their thoughts, 100%
Dangerous-Like you explained but sanity speed goes down less then others (aka sus actions result in less sanity lost then average)
Violent-Not even worried, sanity goes down less.
Snitch-Like social butterfly
Stalker-Has low sanity alr, idk much for this one
Devoted-this one is for the Aishi family and we play as those and this is for the npc's
Can you just finish yansim instead you make it so much more interesting other than “emotionless girl kills people for a crush”
please shut up
i like the nurse office pass concept, I believe thinks happen if ayano messes with the delinquents and fails to get sent there instead of getting a comatose
It's okay! That's fair enough!!❤
YOURE SO TALENTED AT MAKING REVAMPS!!!
I think that the Hospital Ending can have 2 conclusions depending on in which part of the game the player was on, allow me to explain
-If you didn't eliminated the last rival, then the bad ending will take place, where Ayano loses her Senpai
-If you had eliminated the last rival, then another ending will take place, where when Ayano finally is discharged from the hospital and she confess to her Senpai
It's just an idea tho
I like this concept but instead of confessing to senpai I imagine that the player would automatically skip to the exact day next week. (If she was sent to the doctors on Monday then she'll be discharged next Monday.)
If they elimited their current rival then they'll have no issue and start the next week possibly missing opportunities to do something like boost their subject stats, read manga, Earn money etc.
If they didn't then its game over as the rival would confess to Senpai.
This could be altered if she gets caught 1 more time and just be an instant game over. (Or skip straight away to next week Friday giving the player 1 final chance)
I think getting rid of the laugh gets rid of her yandere motif. A yandere laugh is part of the motif and shows how psychotic she is.
I love your concepts! they are very interesting and good!
i really like the idea of sanity resistance and doing things that remind ayano of taro. however, giving it random numbers depending on what week it is would seem a little ... inconsistent for newer players (thus scaring them away from the mechanic) and definitely difficult to put into gameplay. i think that-similar to medicine-it should decrease its effectiveness after each use. i still really like the idea, though!
i do feel as if there probably needs to be slightly more effects added for sanity (negative or positive) to make it important to have sanity resistance...maybe make the yanvision blurrier/harder to make out when lower? colors are already desaturated with low sanity, so it would make sense for the same logic to apply to yanvision. :p
anyways, i love these ideas... (a snap mode for the hospital ending sounds really cool, but it would probably end up with ayano actually arrested)
oml i wish this would be in the actual game, it will make the game so much interesting
HOLY FUCK THIS CONCEPT WAS SO GOOD THAT I WOULD THINK IT ACTUALLY WAS IN THE GAME IF THE CAPTIONS WERENT THERE
Nurse: oh my, you finally awake
Me: Is that elder scrolls?
i love the faint thing! it makes more sense, i also loves the 'late pass' and lore you added. it makes the game more lively.
Not sure I'd like the revamps in the actual game, but it looks smooth and I love the concept and story telling in it great work!
a little idea came into my head for the nurse’s note (which may have realistic flaws), why not get info chan to forge late passes for ayano? i think that it would give the player an advantage to say, clean up during class time but still have the lowered reputation penalty.
the first time ayano receives a late pass she can quickly go to info chan’s room and info chan could get a copy and give back the original pass. so, in the future a late pass could be an option through info chan’s drops.
Love your concepts!
The yandere vision revamp is very smart and makes it less overpowered.
I love these concepts so much, they breathe much more life into the game
im not gonna lie but i absolutely adore this concept so much! especially the "getting caught with low sanity" and "using the yandere vision for too long.
although i believe that the students sanity concept here would be quite abusable..? as it only takes a few corpses or suspicious stuff to bring their sanity all the way down. regardless, it's still an interesting concept!
ideas i had to improve upon these mechanics:
ayano's vision should get more defined as she is using it and her body is strained (like, the more she uses it, the more defined her vision gets, and at its very peak she passes out
instead of lowering her rep, she should be under supervision to make sure she isn't injured after 2+ times
to heighten her vision skills faster, she should be able to do something in her room like using one of those eye charts the optometrists have to strengthen her ability. then, the player can choose whether they want a more powerful vision or they want better stamina for the vision.
rather than sanity depleting more, ayano's "maximum" sanity should get progressively lower. like, some people's phone batteries can't hold a full charge after many uses, sometimes it can dip down to 95%, 90%, 85%, etc. this is how ayano's sanity should be -- it should progressively be able to hold less and less after each murder she commits. i also believe that an "insane" ayano should trigger something similar to snap mode, where if she goes too close to a person she immediately kills them.
the ending concept about examination would be great!! it would be an immediate fail, which means that it would definitely set back the usage of the vision.
This is just an thought, but if you want, I’d be very grateful if you did it!
this is super fricking cool!!!! i really am looking forward to any ideas for revamping the student info
this definitely needs more attention, amazingly-done!!
all of this is explained so thoroughly, and i love all the details and different outcomes. very interesting and inspiring! loved watching the whole video :D
This is a wonderful idea that’s thought through! I think this would have a whole new feel on the game but in a good way! More serious and more using the options that are in the game
Omg, first time I genuinely enjoyed a yandere sim concept :0
I LOVE your concepts sooo much!! If they won't be in the Game, we at least need a mod to play with all of them 😍😍
love your thought processes and how you apply things, but exactly because of that i gotta comment on the reputation down after vision excess:
it'd make more sense if it made her throw up, and because of that students make fun of her (average high schooler bullshit), being seen as weak and bullied because of it is a huge leap in the realism
(in my high school experience nobody gave a shit about students who passed out occasionally, but throw up once and for a few weeks youre the butt of every joke)
as for medicine, maybe an addiction mechanic? if you use it too much she becomes unable to stabilize without medicine, if it goes too far she starts losing sanity if she goes too long without having any. and if you reach a certain point you get a "sent to rehab" game over
it seems amazing!!
it might be a good idea to be something considered suspicious when arriving late for class on the day of a crime
Here are a few things I thought about when ayano in a club but has to end so students can go to class I feel instead of time skip to apper in class
the leader well force ayano by pushing or pulling ayano arm to drag her out and lock the doors ( i think all club doors should be lock when the club is or isn't in session ) and we'll follow ayano to class that if she chooses to not go to class when both of them become late the leader well become frustrated and asking for ayano keys back basically kicking her put of the club ( you must be a member in order to have easy access to a club but only for the one club that your or in)

absolutely loved your concepts, you have more creativity in your fingertips than Alex has overall.
@@rileysjonger4192 Whatever the case, it has been fun discussing this lol
Those are the best concepts of Yandere Simulator I’ve ever seen!!! After watching all those Yandere mods and Yandere concepts, this is the one I find more developed, useful and interesting. I can’t imagine how much work it took, nice¡¡!
some of these ideas are really good (not that I dislike the others, it's just that some of these are REALLY good)
the art/gardening club having new benefits where the player can restore their sanity is great. this gives better functionality to those clubs and is a good step towards rebalancing them. (clubs are kinda weak as new items are replacing their purpose)
it's like a choice, join the art club and be able to preserve your sanity and walk around bloody....or join the gardening club and be able to preserve your sanity and have useful tools.
although in general the occult club is kinda obsolete with all of this...but that club needs some rebalancing too like maybe people are scared of occult members and lose their hero personas around them so you can get away with blatant murder easier.
(ok enough of my tangent lol)
You're a genius, please keep making more of these
This is so much better then whatever Yand dev could *EVER* make I loved this ^^
Keep it up
I just love the amount of effort you put in these! Some of these ideas are incredible and I actually would love to see them become reality
this makes things so much more realistic i found laughing off ur insanity is just unreal. I would love to see this concept in action imo lol
wow I didn't realize people still made videos on this. I remember being much younger and watching tons of lets plays of it for some reason. Prolly just because it was on my recommended. Anyway, your revamps look really cool :>
This is amazing, you are amazing, great job, keep going, your concepts are very interesting and creative.
i absolutely adore this concept it makes yandere vision and sanity much more realistic and interesting!
Honestly, I love this so much. It would make the game feel so much more alive and like an organized game.
The fandom having good ideas than the developer himself is something, something disappointing, like the developer is just lazy on the game(which is true)
Nah it's not laziness definetly on purpose
@@Daaaaj
Good point
ahh these are so cool!! you're so creative!!!
Hi! So your ideas and concepts are very interesting, and they're really well thought out! I just want to kind of remind you, that the Yandere Vision isn't actually some sort of super power, and it's just a type of visual representation to aid the players. It's kinda like, you know who someone is, and you know their routine, so you would know where they would be at certain periods of time, that's why you can see their outlines through walls.
im assuming these concepts are more for people who like a more realistic feel to the game, which is why these are *just* concepts
the stages for the vision thing and waking up in the nurse is so creative
That was amazing 😍
UGH I LOVE HOW GOOD AND DETAILED UR CONCEPTS R
Anyone else think that doctor at the end was kinda creepy? How he wants to "examine her more"? Red flags peeps.
yeah he sounded weird
also his outfit is just the boy uniform but opposite colors lol
Honestly, I'd LOVE if this was a mod, Continue making such concepts!
This is amazing!
Your concept are so good!
Your concept are realistic! I love it
these are AWESOME!! I love the lore that you give the game. and these ideas are just so creative! I hope that in the future we get cool mechanics like this AND an actually interesting story that makes sense, bc I was always sorta confused by yansim lore tbh lol
Dang mica your concepts are so good! They make the game feel more alive
I loved absolutely everything! you have an incredible talent and endless creativity! i lov u videos ❤️❤️❤️❤️
YOU ARE THE BEST YANDERE SIMULATOR CONVEPT MAKER!!!!
THIS IS ACTUALLY SUCH A GOOD CONCEPT LIKE HELLO?!?!? 😭💗💗
Omg this is really a great concept!
YOOO ITS HERE !!!! we love ur vids, cant wait to see you grow!
this is absolutely amazing
OMG!! I LOVE THAT CONCEPTS! IT MAKE THE GAME BETTER! JB
For the sanity part:
Students (and ayano) could regain some lost sanity by talking with the counselor about what theyre going through.
Less extreme cases could result in student regaining lost sanity in a short amount of time, ranging anywhere from a few days to a week.
More extreme cases would result in students taking a longer time regain lost sanity, with ranging between a week to a two weeks to maybe even a month.
Other factors would also include:
1.what they saw: corpse, blood, weapon, body part, etc.
2.relationship to victim: if its a body, did they know the victim? Were they a friend, family, classmate, acquaintance, rival, enemy, personal vendetta? This i feel this would greatly impact how much sanity a student loses and how long it would take for them to recover
3.how many friends does the student have? Do they have a lot of friends they can talk to? Can they open up to their friends about their issues?
-A high friend count would mean more sanity regaind.
-A low friend count however would mean, the student would feels less inclined to talk about their feeling so sanity takes longer to regain
4.whats the students personality? Different students would have their sanity affected differently. More outgoing students would be more inclined to share their thoughts and feelings with others, while more reserved students would try to shoulder their problems on their own. NOW sanity would lower faster with this because the weight of their problems would become more emotionally draining over time, hence faster sanity reduction
The sanity would also give ayano better leverage in manipulating students. If the student recently had a fight or negative experience with the victim, they would probably feel guilty or like they caused the victims death in some way. Ayano could use this as blackmail against the student.
Some students could even have "breakdowns" if exposed to "triggers", examples:
-A student dies and their friend sees/hears a favorite food, or a favorite song, color, toy, movie.
Iep= individual education plan
Ilp= individual learning plan
You are so creative to come up with these concepts!
i just love these type of videos! keep up the awesome stuff that you do !! :D
THIS IS ACTUALLY SO GOOD?!?!
the vision lore is a NEED!!!! we should petition for the developer to add this to the game no matter the costs cuz the lore u made adds soo much flavor and value to the game, and i mean it sincerely
I love your video, you have so much imagination!!! I love the "late pass" and the little backstory to the vision... u even created some animations and all... i leave a like :))
these ideas are SOO COOL
I kind of liked everything else but the ayano’s sanity gradually changing part I don’t think was good at all
i love the fact that Ayano can be examined to a laboratory
