Thanks for watching this episode of life on our family farm!

Who else appreciates how much time Jason takes out of actually DOING the chores to set up these camera transitions and shots?!? I know I am VERY grateful!😽😻
Yes, amazing camera work in this last vlog.
I like that he uses different camera positions than others do. The bottom of the feed barrel, Inside the food dish.
So blessed by the Cog Squad videos.
Yeah! I know what you mean. From putting the camera into the grain barrel to setting it up just to walk down the gravel drive. He must spend a lot of time editing his videos to create the flow of content. I also like that he has one way conversations with the animals as if they are approving or not what he is doing.
Absolutely!!! I was thinking the same thing!
I volunteer at the locat Humane Society a few hours a week. I work with the small animals, rabbits, guinea pigs etc. I've learned watching you and Brooke to talk to the animals. While I'm petting, holding, feeding, cleaning their cage etc. It makes such a difference with these small animals. They've been surrendered and are scared. Thank you Jason and Brooke for modeling kindness and care for animals.
🥰
What you're doing is so vital, Nancy. Thank you for all that you do!
What a beautiful thing and what a beautiful heart you. have. YOU made ME smile! Thank you!!
Aww 🥰 so sweet 🥰 Yes Brooke and Jason are the Best ❤️ and I mean that from the bottom of my heart❤️
Epic quality to recognize so true ❤
It’s so special seeing a couple that’s been together so long and still see the Love y’all have for each other…you two are something else.😇😇😇😇😇🥰🥰🥰🥰
You right am jalous 🥰🥰🥰
Totally agree
Best friends
Absolutely ❤❤❤
Yes! Definitely a highlight for me.
JASON… build Brook a “step-up box” for the milking stand and if the stand placement is against the wall, goats will feel more secure and the box will ease on goats getting up on it.
Also, Roots and Refuge goat stand looks more secure…wood, hand made by them
Jason, I so appreciate your positive attitude. You just keep on plugging regardless of circumstances. Thanks for the smiles.
Love their attitudes !
"Life happens and we just keep on truckin". Your a wise man Jason. Love you all. ❤
If there were more people in this world like you Jason, the world would be a better place.
Battery is low. Tractor sounds like it's turning over too slow then flooded out. Maybe leave a battery tender on it or small solar panel to keep it topped up.
Thank you Jason and Brooke for taking time to allow us to enjoy your life and the farm. ❤
I wish more people in this world would adopt the attitude you have when things don't go as planned. It sure would be a much happier world. God Bless your family.
Oh I love your attitude Jason. You and your lovely wife are just a wonderful couple. Treating living "happenings" with grace , wisdom and fortitude. MaryCarl certainly is blessed having you for parents.
So mature of you not to have a tantrum when you didn’t get play with your new toy and just had to work in the garden. He did warn you it was easy to flood the tractor. You’ll learn its touch in time. I’m praying for Brooke’s health🙏🏼❤️
Jason, I hear the disappointment in your voice. I know many of us are routing for you and want to see Grandad's tractor come alive on a farm again. We understand and can't wait to share that SPECIAL moment with you and Brook.
That tractor is like a blister. Always shows up after the job is done.
I like the audience of dogs you get when youre doing jobs. You are an endless source of entertainment to your animals!
So sorry your tractor didn’t work like you wanted but glad you accomplished what you wanted to accomplish. You have a great attitude❣️Thankful it started so you could get it back in the shelter👏🏻
I just wonder if that old tractor doesn’t like the new kind of gas they make today, because a lot of today’s gas is got ethanol in it and some Indians don’t like that stuff and not every guess station tells you if the gas has ethanol in it.
It's coming. Thank you Jason for modeling disappointment in such a positive way! We all will be cheering the day we see you using your granddaddy's tractor! Hugs from N.C..❤
Nice way of handling disappointment,we can all take a page from your book on how we should act. I’m sorry it happened
I smile so big when you tell Holly to load up and she just jumps up in the beep beep and is ready to go help you. So nice to hear you being understanding about the Ford having issues and not getting upset about it. It’s just part of life as you know. Bless you and yours. 👍🙏🙏♥️
GOOD MORNING CHF FAMILY. YOU AND BROOKE WORK SO HARD AND THAT POSITIVE ATTITUDE YOU HAVE JASON IS ALWAYS GOING TO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE FOR SUCCESS ❤ ❤ ❤❤❤
I can't imagine Cog Hill Farm without Holly. She is obviously living the life of her dreams. At night she sleeps that great farm fatigue sleep that beats all.
I want to thank you Jason for recommending Hoss. I ordered a bunch of seeds. I have planted kale, radishes, leeks, cabbage, carrots, celery, Amish tomatoes, red onions, chives, arugula already and when the rain stops I will plant the corn, beans, peas, and Lima beans, and collards. Thank you.❤😇🙏🙏🙏
Agreed. I finally tried those heating pads to start my seeds up here in New England. What a difference. The Hoss people are super helpful. 👍
Jason you are so right it will be fine and attitude is everything. Have a great garden day
The 6 volt battery is not turning the tractor over fast enough. Jump it off.
Convert the Ford to 12 volt with alternator. It will start so much easier. It was the best thing I ever did to mine. The 6 volt system is harder to start as the tractor ages .
12 volt does make a big difference. My 1948 8n starts as good as my new tractor...
Jason said he did talk about this suggestion with the mechanic, who said it was better not to try to fix something if it ain't broke. So, we'll see from here. The issue this time was not starting, per se, but when he gave it gas to come out of it sitting at low idle it flooded and died. I've seen this type of problem and it seems to me sometimes it requires the use or nonuse of the choke or a being in a different gear, various combinations of babying it to get it to come up out of "sleep" mode.
I changed two 841s to 12v and was very happy I did. I am in the process of changing my current 841 to electronic ignition as points were always an issue. 12v cranks faster which helps offset loss of compression in tired engines.
You’re the best at so many things.
Jason, your love, excitement for that tractor shows your love and appreciation for your granddaddy
What you provide us is something we wish we could do now these days! And to show us your farm treasures...ups and downs...without grumbles...WHEW! I think you are understanding what a beautiful asset you are to your viewer family! "It ain't easy!!!" (And we love you for it!)
My hubby, a tractor guy, said "Don't forget a lead fuel additive." Them motors wheren't designed for modern gas.
Jason, you are one heck of a guy. You have the most positive attitude ever. The best channel on you tube.
Love and prayers.🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤
Love this farm. They have good & bad days too. Real life. Jason & Brooke are so well supervised by all these critters, so there is proof that Peaches can't do it alone. Thanks so much for being our great escape. All your hard work & time is greatly appreciated. Remember to take time out for yourselves. It's not the destination, but the journey along the way. I can already smell the flowers. See ya Saturday for coffee.
You are one great example Jason. Great attitude and such a hard worker. Such a blessing!
Jason you have the best attitude ever. You don't seem to let anything get you upset. You and Brooke are the greatest.
I got a chuckle over your fondness for the old tractor! Petting it!😂 I bet it warms your grandfather’s heart too!❤
We're as happy as we allow ourselves to be. Jason has that all figured out! What a great teacher. 😊
I am so sorry you are having problems with the old tractor. Hugs to all!
Hey Jason, I'm a couple of decades older than you and, when your tractor flooded, my life flashed before my eyes. Back in the day that's what happened, consistently, with those old motors. If they were running and they stopped you were going to take a 15-20 minute break whether you wanted to or not. Across the spectrum of motorized machinery. Personally, I'm kind of proud of your old tractor. The man who fixed it did a great job. It's running exactly the way it's supposed to!!😉🙃
I love how the three pups supervised the implement attachment operation to assure safety ❤ y’all have the best video content: positive and educational!
Those 3 puppers are a joy to watch, they have the best life- which makes me happy
I hope Ole Pappi gets running fine, luckily OJ was there to save the day... Holding thumbs Ole Pappi gets sorted!
Good Morning Cog Family & Squad! Hope you all are having a wonderful, blessed day☀️
You have such a great attitude about everything Jason and that’s why I love watching you. I’m sorry the tractor failed but your right, getting upset isn’t gonna fix it. Much love to you and Brooke.
That was some artistic photography 🎨📸 Jason, and Brooke is the Queen of the Kubota! 👸🚜 ! 👏💐💕
The farm is looking so nice! How exciting for you all to be able to have all this to grow everything and have your animals, etc. Y'all are so blessed!😇🥰
As an adult I helped my Dad put in gardens in his back yard. He was too old the use the roto-tiller so I had to do it. My old my was it tough! He had me pull back on the tiller forcing the 1 plow thing to go really deep. He had me going over and over both ways for nearly 2 weeks every evening. Finally it was planting time, and we planted whatever we/I wanted to plant! My warmest memories of the love we shared working together in the garden!
The scene where all of the dogs were sitting there and Rocky or bandit leaned into his brother as if to talk about what was going on was priceless!
Glad you got the old tractor running!
They were so intent on watching how the equipment was hooked up! They learning how!
I love how you care for all of your animals the same.
Jason, love tour positive attitude. Wish you had a mechanic that could come out to your farm and fix your tractor on the spot for you. Having said that you are blessed to have someone who understands how to work on vintage equipment. God bless you and your family and your farm. 👍👏💕
Jason, every time you are on that old Ford tractor, you light up.....except when it doesn't start. You lit up when it started at the end of the vid. I hope it all gets figured out so you can just play on your baby. I just love Loretta and the way she has to get her bowl away from Gus in fear of him eating any morsels. Just don't know her back story. She and Gus love their home now for sure! You are such good parents to all your babies! Hope you have a lovely day!
Hi Cog Hill.. Hope everyone is doing well.. Prays for Brooke that she continues to get well.
I am so glad that you got the tractor started. I know it was such a disappointment that you couldn't use the tractor earlier but that didn't keep you down. You got up and put a smile on your face and with you and Brooke got the job done. You are such a fantastic team. Have a great day. God Bless.
Jason you are positively amazing. It's great Brooke is trying to milk the goats.
It's disappointing that your Grandaddy's tractor wouldn't run.
Can't wait to share that special time will be soon enough. Love you all
Prayers continue for Brooke's health.
Thank you Cog Hill for your kind and optimistic example 💞💙💞👊👊👊
That's Farm Life.. Always something that will take a little longer than planned. So, we just deal w/ it and carry on and get the job done. No Worries !
Your channel is pure joy.🥰🤗❣️
Good morning Jason. We could all take a lesson from you. Life happens and as you said we just have to keep on trucking❤❤
Thank you for always sharing your farm adventures with us!!! God Bless You and your farm animals ✝️🙏🏼🛐
Hey Jason, Just a reminder to get those vitamins! Later...
Jason, you are a Fantastic creator, such professional videos! This is your calling!
Attitude is everything! Such a positive example of team work and ending for your garden prep day! Thanks Jason and Brooke ⭐❤⭐😊
You Accomplished What You Could Do Jason And Brooke, A Lot Of Admiration To You Both!
Don’t you love this time of year! Y’all had a beautiful day getting fields ready! Great video!❤❤❤
My grandpa had an old Ford tractor out on his 40 northeast of Delano, California. Watching this video today I’m thinking back to the very first video you showed us of this place. Your improvements have made it so lovely. God bless you!❤
Jason your garden looks good. Glad to see you got the tractor running. Thank you for sharing 😊
Your family brings so much farm knowledge and the love y’all have for each other. ❤️
Good thing you have more than 1 tractor. She may not be running right now, but she sure is pretty!
I was surprised that the tractor was brought back to life.
Such respect Jason!! Your attitude and character is absolutely to aspire to. We have a saying here; just when you least expect it...life happens. Appreciate the Cog Hill Family.
That bracelet tag reminder really had me laughing. Perfect!!🤣😂
As always, Great video, Jason! Off to see Brooke working with the goats! Love you guys!❤❤❤😊
Just LOVE your attitude about things, we could all learn a lot from you and your sweet Brooke ❤️🙏🚜
Love your “Can Do” attitude!! ❤️👏
Love your show! You talking to your animals about news on the farm, reminds me of Charlottes Web. Lol 😂
Im not a mechanic but my husband and I owned a REAL Mom and Pop service station years ago with tow trucks and very good mechsnics. I learned alot from them just hearing them talk. My husband had been a volkswagon mechanic in L.A . Hollywood area, before that ( Bobby Sherman was a regular). I heard that vehicles with old carburators ( this before all the electronics and computer vehicles).. " before you turn the key, give it a couple pumps of gas, then hold the pedal down to the floor, as you turn the key and keep it there. As it turns over and starts up, THEN slowly let up on the pedal. If it starts to die, then go ahead and short pump it again.
Like I said, Not a mechanic but a tip for those subscribers with a touchy old "girl". Oh.. and make sure yer holdin yer mouth right. In the rare down time, the employees would stand together watching the cars go by on the street, diagnosing them by sound as the passed. I was right once.. flat tire! Yes, we repaired those too. Lol 😅
God bless!
LOL! Watching you feed Joe and Moe and Loretta is on the other side of that fence studying how she just MIGHT be able to get in there and snatch their food pan!! LOL😂
Jason is #1 in my book and he couldn’t make a bad video, even if he tried! Love Cog Hill family ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi.... JASON and BROOKE thanks you for showing your video homestead bye
Jason.. the smile on your face said it all when the tractor fired back up. Great job
Brooke you are making light work of that garden. Great job.
Thanks! It will get right! Stay safe in this weather!
The close up shot of the bee coming out was phenomal !
So glad the tractor cranked up for you!
I watched and was so excited how well it went for her. 😊 That's a lot. ❤
I loved the water bracelet ..very funny!
Oh Jason, I felt so bad for you when the old tractor wouldn’t continue to run. I know how disappointed you were. But in true Jason style you make lemonade out of lemons. What a lesson in behavior for all who watch. We need more Jason’s in the world.
Jason, Brooke, MaryCarl all the animals and the farm, I hope you all are safe from all these nasty storms, praying for yall. Love ya'll
She's a cranky ol lady Jason. She'll work when SHE wants to.
Granddaddys tractor decided it had done enough work. It has retired, Jason just drive me slowly slowly no more work. 😊
Nice idea for the water bracket thank you whoever sent it in.
I love seeing Brooke on her tractor!
When the going gets tough the tough gets going..You guys done an awesome job❤😊
My husband always says “better than”. Disappointments come, but you are.” better than.” Someone who doesn’t have a tractor at all and needs one.
Cog Hill Family Farm. Have a blessed weekend. Have a great Sunday in church.
I'm so happy you got your tractor started 🥰❤️😘
Your furry helpers made sure you hooked up the harrow correctly 😊
Holly and the boys watching y'all attach the harrow was my favorite!! Love watching y'all!!
That tractor has its own mind", it don't want to get dirty". 😂😊
I found out old tractors needs to be used to stay in running order
Best ever Cog Hill family. 🕊
So sorry the tractor is acting up. I am sure she will be purring soon 😊.
Saw the 1st day of goat training yesterday both goats did really well up on the milk stand and Brooke looked so happy.
Jason, always such a positive attitude. ❤
Jason I love how you think, Brooke I love seeing you on the tractor.
