- Combining Pandory500 with AMiNIMiga, we can go online and surf the internet using Ibrowse!
The new version of Pandory500 will be released in the next few weeks. This will allow the A500 Mini to use the newest version of Amiberry, with its own fixes and enhancements. Both AMiNIMiga, AGS2 will be compatible.
The stock A500 Mini emulator is a few years old, so now WHDLoad games should have fewer bugs, and also run better.
As for the difference between Pandory500 Mini and the FULL version, the full version will run as a standalone and allow you to run many more systems such as C64, Atari ST, PS1, Dreamcast and PSP. The mini version will cut the bloat and only have the Amiga Emulator and background fixes, nothing else.
More USB controllers will be compatible, as are NETWORK ADAPTERS!
Yes, you can now go ONLINE by using a compatible wired USB LAN adapter. We've put a few down below in the Affiliate links section.

I had no idea you guys were doing a Aminimiga type of mod for the a500. And you’re on v2? Wow. I now have Chris edwards pimiga on the rp400, the aminimiga on the a500, lots of Amiga os variants on various emulators like Amiga forever, etc. so now I’ll try your ‘mod’. Amazing how Amiga is still going strong.

Funny that you menton the hate towards the a500+, I never understood why people disliked the a500+. It was a great machine and a decent upgrade from the original 500. It wasn't sold for people who already had a 500, but of you were new to the scene then you got an amiga with extra ram and a kickstart upgrade. I personally have a bad feeling towards the 600, that one should have been better, it wasn't enough to have its own number in my opinion. I miss the amiga days.

Yeah, basically A500 users only saw the A500+ as the same with 1mb RAM and compatibility issues with some games. They never saw the improvements when it came to the kickstart, new WB, future upgrades, and that gorgeous TICK! IMO the only reason why one would hate the A500+ is VARTAAAA! - A600 had some decent upgrades, but those too were only further down the line with IDE harddrives becoming cheaper. - Back in the day I remember seeing it as an A500+ without a numpad... Crap for flightsims and Civilization :-)

Aminimiga has been updated, I think AGS, too. Pandory500 is in the polishing stages.
Noticed Aminimiga downloads are off line due to an issue with PPaint hopefully they can come to a resolution soon @@TeamPandory

It's not possible with the stock version of Amiberry, but Pandory500 allows the A500 mini to use the latest version of Amiberry, as well as add compatibility for some Network controllers. To get it running yourself, you just need to install the latest Aminimiga, insert a USB network controller, plug it up via lan, and you should be ready to rock. I think the current Aminimiga is only available via their Patreon, but once it's ready for the public (bugs squished etc), it'll be released for free.

@@TYNEPUNK wifi isn't supported. Perhaps if a LAN cable was plugged up into a router or switch that connects to wifi, that'd work
I had trouble loading a lot of games using the Amiga emulators on Pandory and i ended up going back to using the base A500 mini instead cause they worked fine on there. Im hoping now with Amiberry 5 added it should fix those issues

Question - doesn't the USB hub need a ekstern power supply ?
Depends, I find avoiding the centre usb port with the usb memory stick helps, and also using usb devices that use less power.

@@TeamPandory Awesome! Just want to mention for future release that with current release, when I run arcade games with mini or xbox360 controller, the controller affect both player, could you consider to investigate and fix that in the future release? Thanks a lot!
@@DavidBriard this is one of the areas that we've had issues with, and has now been fixed.
How is Jim Power now Tim?
To play some jim power, either use the cd32version, or puae with frameskip 1. We may have something for this soon tho. 😊
