It was all so marvelous...those fantastic rock shapes and cracks...that animal rock at min. 2:47!!! you can see the eyes, 2 nostrils, mouth, a brow....woohoo!!
Entire mountains and ridges made of quartz, Amazing! I really like that shot of the sunset blazing up the quartz near the end. The whole desert southwest is such an alluring place and you are capturing some great places. Keep on Truckin' my man!
I wonder if that's gold bearing quartz it's a heck of a huge vein....loved that cave or 'hole" in the granite at 6:15 with quartz filling it in. Thanks for bringing us along!!
I loved the whole video, especially all of that quartz. The energy there must feel amazing! Im also in awe that your little Buddy clumbed up there with you. You are both tougher than you look 😊 My pup doesnt like to look at the camera either
Loved the climb on the granite boulders. I'm not so young, but I frequent the area south of Baghdad. There are miles of granite mountains and hills, and a lot of mines too. I come across some quartz outcroppings from time to time. But really, I just love to climb those boulders.
Wow, how incredible place that is😍 Thank you for this video and to give us a possibility to watch something that amazing(at least for us who cant ever visit there. Im from other continent plus too many things going on that could ever climd in there) so thank you🌹💕
Another wonderful video of my (our?) neighborhood. I appreciate your not wanting to tell folks where you reside, which makes people have to guess. That first climb made me feel like Watson to Sherlock Holmes, and the quartz ridge at the end looked like a Skull in that Valley, and in both it seemed there was a Mountain of Granite on the horizon. Thanks, and keep it up!
Yes, the first is in the Granite Dells, second is Quartz Mountain, an last is near Contreras Trailhead in Skull Valley. Thank you for your generous comments!
When you showed the gravel road, it reminded me to mention an ancient use of quartz gravel/pebbles in the UK. From about 4 to 5,000 years ago the ancient people are known to often have used quartz gravel as a finishing touch to their major stone circles and burial monuments. This would have emphasised the rocks and allowed the place to be seen from afar. It may also have signified the sacred ground.
Love the folds in the rock structures of the southwest. Love the animal head. Just wondering what the train station was for? That whole area looks pretty desolate but then that in its self isn’t uncommon for that area of the world. Keep up the great work. Those sunset colors are really cool too.✌️👍
What brand of drone do you reccomend? Thank You for sharing your adventures. I'd love to find and document pertoglyphs for future explorers. If you find more petroglyphs take a picture, document date, location ,dimentions...even put a quarter or dime next to the image to document size. Add your name and age to your journals to help identify locations, images. Imagine someone doing this process to the now destroyed petroglyps...we would have been able to see them instead of the vandelism and scribble left behind by destructive people.
Thanks for taking us to a unique location! 🙂
Thank you so much!

I use the DJI Mini 2 SE. It's great for what I do. Thank you!
Looks like a great time to me. Is there any history of gold mining there in that specific area?
There is some mining activity in that area. Thank you for watching! 👍
Where there is quartz gold is nearby, if not inside the quartz
yup
To think all that rock being molten at one time billions of years ago.
Pretty amazing
Found Arrow head of quartz right on the beaten path someone dropped
Cool
Eat Fish
Wow, what interesting rock formations! What are you at,about 6000 feet? There’s a quartz vein about 60 miles from where I live.🗿🪨
The first and the last place were at 5000 feet elevation, and the middle place was 6000. Thank you for watching! 🙂
