In India its called the MG Astor and you can get an AI assistant on dashboard that you see on Chinese cars. Instead of the 1.0 Turbo petrol you get a 1.3 Turbo petrol with 140 bhp.
Your presenting us with a very good all round idea of what to expect from the MG, you have obviously had enough experience of it to give a very good review.
Buying an MG supports the Communist Party of China. People that care about their own economy buy products from people/companies/brands that are designed and/or developed and/or researched in their own country or ally country. The people that work for those local companies, in free democracies, then buy other products developed in their own country or ally country and that keeps their families and friends in work and making money. Stupid people buy direct from Chinese brands and send every single penny out of their country and destroy their own economy and eventually their entire free society because they are cretins and/or greedy and/or want things they can't afford, and rather than wait and save. They are happy to screw over their entire economy in the pursuit of self-gratification, selfishness, and ego. Buying CCP owned brands and products fuels Chinese R&D and weakens free economies. Your children and your children's children will suffer as a result of your choices. This is not hyperbole, it is fact.

I purchased a Nissan Juke Tekna 2011 with so called leather seats, the side bolster split, not unusual so i heatd, ( apparently not leather ) just outside warranty and with about 7000 miles on the clock. I'll never buy another Nissan, the only car i've had where a seat has split. My 4 Skodas were better. Nice review
Hi there, thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment. Yes, the suspension isn't great, even though MG states it's been tuned for UK roads. Not sure which roads they used, mind.
@@CarObsession Lol I don’t think they’ll make suspension tunings specific only for some countries because there will be additional cost. Engine, probably yes. All ZS around the world have the same body tuning I guess. And yeah they have to improve it
Hi love the review, looking to buy the 1.0 t exclusive, one thing puts me off and that’s the faux leather seats, should I let this put me off buying one?, (I have some bad memories as a kid in cars with vinyl seats). I have a 20 mile journey every day!….don’t want to get out of a car with a wet back and arse!
Check the side windows cannot keep reviewing them if faults haven’t been corrected on vehicles already sold . I suppose it is get the money and forget about the customer .
Hello mate, thanks for watching, and thanks for the question. The Suzuki will cost more, but the 1.0 litre engine performs better and it's a nice car to drive.
Thanks for spoiling me for the day in this absolute specimen of an automobile, a moment I will forget everyday Great review & presenting as always bro!

Hey...I'm thinking of buy this car for my wife and as a family car and I live in trinidad were the roads are not to good what do you think about owning this ????
Hello Jervan, thanks for watching, and thanks for the comment. The ride in the ZS, isn't the best to be honest, so it may not be the most comfortable option for you. I hope that helps.
Hello Connor, thanks for watching, apologies fo the delay in responding. Most of its rivals cost more money, so therefore don't offer as good value, so when it comes to price, the Dacia Duster is the next nearest thing. I've only spent limited time with that, though, so hard to say definitively. Compared to other cars in its class (excluding the Duster), I'd say this is the best SUV you can get at this price tag but more expensive rivals will of course give you better value.
I've had them both the MG is the better car it feels more like a car the Duster is more like a van and I had the 2019 prestige duster an recently swapped it for zs excite both good cars for the money but the MG is that little bit better.
@@fossrocket thanks for your educated insight. I've tested both cars and share your opinion, but yours is based on real life experience, so much more solid
I queried the lack of skyroof on the Exclusive and MG stated the following...Thank you for getting in touch with MG motor. With regards to the MG ZS, the availability of the panoramic sky roof for petrol versions was linked to the launch of the facelift. Because the 1.0T 6 speed manual was a new version added to the range after the facelift was introduced we were able to add the panoramic sky roof. Your feedback is much appreciated and we will keep a record as a reference for the relevant team. Apologies for any disappointment.
That's a rather pathetic and fudging the issue answer. If the roof was linked to the facelift and the 1.0T manual came along after the facelift, surely, the sunroof would have been available before the new drive train came along! I must admit, I was interested in this car but the poor consumption and ridiculous CO2 emissions have put me right off it.
@@rayjennings3637 Yes, I can't disagree about C02 figs. They are bad, especially the HS 1.5 auto. The excuse for the ZS sunroof is also not good. BUT...I still like them! I'm looking again seriously 2022.

Too much money for a Chinese made vehicle. A 1 litre engine for cars this size is too small. MG should be selling the petrol ZS at Dacia Duster prices. If you are on a budget the Dacia Duster is much better value and is available with a much more powerful 4 cylinder engine. Good review thanks.

MG needs to make a ZS variant catered for performance. And they gotta improve the suspension. Man the suspension feels like it’s gonna break anytime.
