  • This fan is located in a master bedroom at my friend's house. It is controlled by a Hunter 27185 remote control. This model was also sold as "Royal Palm", but this is a Seville version, and it's from December 2005. When the light button is held on the remote while the light is on, it dims down, and when it reaches the dimmest setting, it comes back to the brightest setting. When the switch is turned off, the remote receiver resets to fan off with light on. Few of the blades are warped. It makes some slight rattling noise, wobbles slightly, and blows good amount of air. This fan is shown on all 3 remote control speeds, as well as all 3 factory speeds.

    These can also be seen as the Royal Palm. I saw a few a couple years ago on the porch of a friend’s house

      The model number tells me it's Seville. It's possible that 56" Seville and Royal Palm are made from entirely different factory. Hunter had some Chinese factories make fans for them.

      @@CeilingFanVideosOnYT true. Just like the Harbor Breeze Bella Vista and Bellevue. Different names, but fans look identical

      The only difference is the way glass shades are mounted. Bella Vista use 3 screws per shade. Bellevue use a shade holder that screws into a socket.

      I remember seeing a fan with 4 palm blades when I saw Lowes display around 2005, it could be Seville, or Royal Palm.

    I love this fan, mine is having issues with the pull chains sticking for the light switch. Can you install a remote to fix this issue?

    • @CeilingFanVideosOnYT
      @CeilingFanVideosOnYT  7 років тому +1

      Yeah, pull-chain-through-the-light-kit setup never really worked right. And yes, you can install a remote to it, just leave the fan chain on high.

      Does yours have a remote? And do blades spin freely when you push them with your hand?
