good to hear you are taking guitars for work brother! if anything like me you'll get them from all over the world! I'm having to turn so many down because I'm buried lol good luck!
Hey Cesar, great video! Thank you! I just wanted to mention that PRS actually did replace the old pickup with a " PRS-Voiced Fishman Sonitone " in the A50 E model (and A60E along with the others and the A50 without the E) starting in 2022. Can confirm that my A50E made 07/2022 has the new pickup.
Good news on your retirement Cesar or if not full retirement slowed down. Nice to see you back to making more content. Even though I don’t play anymore I still have time for you. 😎
Glad you will have more time for music! I have not yet used the pickup in my A60E but it is of the same generation as your A50E so i am sure it suffers from the same issue.
Ah, welcome back. One query to you: I have come back to the guitar almost exactly one year ago after a 16 years hiatus. The guitar is a 40 years old Japanese western style one that I got for free. However, it is close to unplayable and I have called a luthier who said that a repair is almost impossible and not worth the time. Now I am looking for a new guitar in the 1000€ category. Unfortunately, the music store nearby has closed and the next one only sells Martin Guitars that start at 2000€ (he could also order different brands but then I have to take it). Which guitars in the 1000€/$ range do you thing is a good one to look into ;)?
Hi Thomas! First, thanks for watching. In the 1K mark you have really very good options for acoustic guitars - and nice ones. The one I am showing here, PRS Angelus is about 800. Then you have very very good Yamaha guitars below 1000. Honestly, I'll stay there - in PRS Angelus or Yamaha...
@@CesarAllGuitar Thank you, yes Yamaha. I always forget about them... Unfortunate, that I am not able to try before I buy unless I am willing to drive 400km one direction🫠. I have called one of the biggest music stores in the world (you know, the German one) and the guy told me that a lot of people also have good experiences with the newish Epiphone J45 (inspired by Gibson). A lot of options in that price range for sure. This does not make it easier however 🙈
@@thomasa.243 A friendly advice - never go with acoustic Epiphones. For the price, Yamaha would give you much more of a guitar. I have had very bad experiences with Acoustic Epiphones but that is just me...
@@CesarAllGuitar Oh, ok, good to know. The guy told me that in his experience it is 95% the quality of a Gibson and that they have really stepped up their game, full solid body, etc. Again, unfortunate that it is not that easy to try for me (and most of us now honestly. A lot of local retailers have closed down forever...).
@@CesarAllGuitar Hi Cesar, I just wanted to let you know that I have been able to try a Taylor 214ce, the PRS Angelus 50 you have and a Takamine P3 I guess it was called (Pro series from Japan). There is a shop that once sold musical instruments but now only does renting to musical students, schools, etc. When he gets them back and they are in good shape (minus cosmetic issues of course), he sells them. Would get a good price on all of them although price wise the Takamine seems to be the best deal all around. Hard decision because they all seemed to be good but in different areas 😅.

For example. Javier mengual or Jose Margrette or both together or linea
