yes it was a decent atmosphere this week. usually okay but the away fans bringing numbers made it much better than usual. normally 4/500 and sat quiet all game. create turn out for the blues again. i dont rate rooney at all, so wishing you guys the best of luck with that hype train lolz.

Loved this video it somehow manages to capture the true essence of what football means to the working class and just how precious those few hours on a Saturday are to thousands up and down the country. I’m with you on that mate. Not all clubs are like ours I admit but for us it’s absolutely essential that the manager shows his respect to the supporters away from home. I expect he’ll learn that quickly as he’ll want that bond to be strong 💙

Davo great blog as always derby fan here when Rooney was manager for us he battled through the league and he will do fantastic for Birmingham city just give him a chance and he will succeed and will bring great players and depends how much your chairman will give Rooney to spend to get good players when he was manager d c f c and m m let him down and he worked so hard trying to keep us up and i have subscribed and keep up the good work

I am seeing the big picture. W.R has 3 yrs to transform our squad. It will be rough this season but our squad age will be reduced and fitter lads we will require. We have 7 players leaving this season and they need replacing

Boro are on the boil now I was speaking to my Boro mates last week and they were saying the struggled because of losing the loan players from last year That's why i don't like Loans .if they do well The price goes up and you can't afford them and they unbalance the side if you lose them Odd ones ok but Boro had a few I remember when Huddersfield and Fulham got promoted with a team full of loans and they were able to buy them Then they have to acclimatize to a new league and build a team again and that's difficult and they both got relegated Boro along with Norwich are my favourite places I spent lots of time back in the 70's and early 80's in both places My first ever Leeds away game was Boro 1975.Nice to see Leeds win the card I hope that's a good omen
That was a hell of a game in 75. 40k crowd and all hell breaking loose at the end, with Boro fans attacking the away end and running battles outside. Leeds hardly brought any fans the following season.
@@SIRDKA I remember it well Boro was a tough old place but i loved going up to Boro I had loads of punk mates up there an di used to go for the weekend at the Rock Garden ,Aklham arms The Linthorpe etc I had many a peaceful day watching Leeds play there My first ever Leeds away game was Boro around 75/76 It was 1.0 To Leeds .First thing i noticed was graveyard ,Hospital Football ground Was this forward planning ? I remember walking past the ground i saw these skinheads with red and white hair come out of a snicket I went to buy an hot dog when the Leeds special turned up and the two groups of fans started throwing bricks at each other Me and the hot dog seller hid under his stall .When that died down The OB took us round to the away end and left us outside because the ground wasn't open yet So i sneaked out and walked down the road .I saw a pub and i was about to enter it when a Leeds fan came flying out of teh pub window So i turned round and went back to the ground Just in time for the gates to open .No one in our end was wearing any colours Just lots of big blokes .which what appeared to be local accents There was a massive fight at some point which turned out to be local Leeds fans from Boro and Boro fans in our end The Boro fans were removed with the help of the OB .It was always a lively place when Leeds went more so if you went on the train I never did i don't think; although i do have a memory of getting a train back home so maybe i stopped t my Mate's house Other little memories of Boro .I remember my two mates from Farsley went in the Holgate in 77 .They were local tattooists They built a tattoo gun from a light switch and a pen casing To try the tattoo gun was working they tattooed LUFC some where on their body so their arms and legs ,neck hands etc were covered in little LUFC How they got in the Holgate without being sussed was a miracle .After about 10 mins the gap and the crowd opened up The next they were being escorted round the pitch to the Leeds end Another time we had to pick up a well known Stockton White on the side of the duel carriage way When we got there he was being chased up the side of the duel carriageway by a guy with an axe Happy days
