Serious inquiry here. Why take so many tako in one go? That does't seem very conservative and could potentially lead to overfishing. Especially if others are hauling so many as well. Is that many still sustainable? Also how do you cook them cause to me the meat is just too tough to even bother when there are much tastier options out there.
This tako dive was done with 4 people from 3 different families. Each of us took our share for our families and friends. None of it went to waste. And yes, this is sustainable. Tako have a very short lifespan and are able to reproduce rather quickly compared to other creatures due to that. People have been taking tako like this for years upon years and are still able to do that which shows that the practices and fisheries are in fact sustainable. Thank you for your interest and dive safe🤙🏻

We usually boil and then fry the tako or will smoke it. When done properly, it is tender and tastes really good.
how deep is this water? Mahalo for uploading.
The tako grounds was maybe about 3 to 7 feet and the fish grounds was about 20 or so. Thanks for watching🤙🏻

Did you really have to rob the ocean of so much sentient life. Pretty gross fishing practices
