This has a different meaning for everyone I understand.. for me though I almost lost my parents to drugs. I walked through their house that didn’t feel like a home anymore. They left it to me to pick up my childhood pieces in an unrecognizable hallway. I cried so hard literally on my knees and couldn’t breathe. So this song hit me hard when I first heard it…
Your story breaks my heart. I can't imagine what you've been through, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually; I can only imagine that whenever you think about those things your heart explodes with pain.
I hope you are a Christian and that you're letting Jesus walk with you through this. Jesus. He's the one true God, and only He can break those chains that are holding you back from fully living.

I love this song so much... It's the song I play over and over and over again... my boyfriend recently broke up with me and left me stranded... just like this song, I called him when I got home to ask if everything was okay and he told me that he wasn't alone and I just thought to myself "Why did I call?!" ... it hurt me so bad to know he moved on from me so quickly and I was still stranded there...It's so quiet now... and I honestly feel really cold being alone..... I don't feel welcomed here by the way he left me and moved on... like a waste of time and space....my body aches so bad... my heart is so broken... broken beyond repair...
