Wow I saw this before I started learning Arabic and had no idea what you were saying. Now I'm learning about verbs that don't strictly follow the يَفْعَلُ pattern and this video is a game changer. The tip to focus on the ع position is so great and its helped me see the bigger picture. Thank you so so much! May Allah reward you!

Hey Sam, I got the book, 501 Arabic verbs. I have a question on page 140. Do you know why there is a fetta instead of a dhamma over the س in the present tense conjugation of 'he studies'?
Jazakallahu Khairun brother Sam. Can you do the plurals for present and past tense
I think that would make a lot of sense Inshaa'Allah. :) My video this evening will be on the future but after that, I think plurals and duals in the past would be a good idea! Thanks for watching!
what was the greeting in the beginning
So do we have to learn the past tense of verbs before the present?
And is it just through context that you differentiate between she and you masculin?
I tried to purchase the book you referred but it says not available.
هل احتجت ان تضع السكين على الياء عندما نستخدم المضارع بالياء المخاطب المونث؟
I’m learning Egyptian Arabic but if I was learning MSA the lessons seem good.
Great lesson!
شكرا جزيلا
I just have one question. If the second-person male and third-person female forms are identical, how would you know which is being referred to if both are possible in the context? Would you just use the pronoun?
Context context context. Remember if you see تذهب or something like it without a person being spoken to; more than likely it is 3rd person female.
I was also wondering can dialects be written in Arabic script because I’ve been hearing mixed viewpoints that contradict? Specifically like the Emirati or Qatari dialects? Thanks!
what do you mean? arabic dialects arent written in arabic?
Holee what was that intro
How do you know which baab a word is in? My Ustadah said use a dictionary, but all I get is which harakah to use in madarie or mahdi (I forget). Can you help me asap if poss? My Ustadah might be over my questions about it. Please help!

Do you think it’s best to learn past first or present?
In my opinion it's best to learn the past first :) but when the present is taught it should be linked back to the past.
