It just occurred to me that the way Zoro and Sanji interact is the closest out of the straw hats how Sanji interacted with the people that worked at the Baratie. This honestly explains a lot about their dynamic in my head.
Zeff: Man it sucks being on this island with nothing but this kid, enough food for 1 person and this bag of treasure that could purchase a restaurant Tekking: How did Zeff buy the Baratie did he get a loan from a bank?

Just re watched the Baratie Arc and realized that Gin was EVERYTHING that Sanji feared of becoming an empathy less subordinate of a man who relied on technology too much concorded 1 of the 4 blues. In retrospect Sanji was playing the role of his mother and brought out Gins humanity with food and kindness
Goa Kingdom is also really unique compared to the other islands we saw in the East Blue. From Mount Corvo and the giant beasts that live there to the giant pile of trash known as the Grey Terminal, not to mention Makino’s bar. You could always do a Geography is Everything video where you just explain everything about the different islands in the East.
Like 7 years ago one of my buddies went to Japan and got me Sanji's cookbook as a gift but i could never cook any of the dishes because all the recipes were in japanese lol they all looked delicious for sure. It's cool there is a translated version of it now

I get the feeling this is specifically his retirement plan as well; he's no longer Red-Foot Zeff, so he'll be Head-Chef of the Baratie. I dunno if this is Canon, but the Anime shows Zeff and young Sanji alone in the Baratie at the start, and that Patty and Carne joined later (but were the first Chefs to join); this implies Zeff got the Baratie before hiring Chefs. Similarly, Zeff starts talking about his Dream of the Baratie immediately after Sanji ripped open the bag of Gold (thinking it was a bag of Food); I got the implication "I'll use this gold to make my Dream come true".
I feel like paleontologists with zero context discovering the statues would more assume Brook was some sort of avatar of death and Franky was some kind of mythical warrior. Jury's out on Robin and Nami though.

I really wanna know the logistics of the baratie and how it was built and stays in business. I mean it's difficult enough keeping a restaurant open at all. I can't imagine the extra difficulties of the sea. The maintenance, the supplies, the equipment.....

You could do a episode of Geography Is Everything on Syrup Village because the Geography of the Island plays a massive part of the arc. The villiage only has 2 entrances which Usopp used Oil to make the hills slippy so the Black Cat Pirates (and Zoro) couldn't enter the village because they can't climb the cliff & the only hill into the village is covered in oil.

That spiral staircase is nonsense, theres a McDonalds I frequent that has a second floor and to get to it is a set of stairs, a right angle turn then another set of stairs and carrying the food on a tray up those stairs is one of the most harrowing things anyone has to do.
