- Create a model that perfectly follows the definition of the sketches you create using Loft. By adding rails and adjusting the direction of planar faces, you can further tailor the shape of your design.

I love these on point relaxing tutorials. I’m always learning a lot and enjoying shapr3d.
Thanks again and please more of these techniques videos.
As always I have followed step by step but my body is not updating like this one in the video. If I move the top sketch the body will change but if I select the middle sketch the body is automatically turned off and I cannot turn it back on until I move the middle sketch back to its original position.
I'm just getting started and could use some help in creating a convex surface top surface of a rectangle
But what if the ellipse sketches are not all perfectly lined up, how would you go about sketching the rails? From what I can tell, there is no 3d sketch option.
I can no longer use the loft command with the rails and the faces selected all together
Actually initial got this issue when I only selected the ellipse line and rails using the box selector (which did not select the fills of the ellipse) but when you select the ellipses with their fills by clicking in the middle of each ellipse and the rails, the loft command appears and it works as expected.
Using the beta version parametric, but it doesn’t work properly(
Great tutorial, thanks. Re:3:30. When I move the sketch the body does not reprofile. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
I have the same problem … 😢
Pretty sure you have to be in the parametric beta for it to reprofile. In the direct cad (current version) you would have to reloft for every version.
Just used the beta and it’s not working there either.
@@christinas4397 it should work if you are in the parametric, but it’s really important to set your project up properly otherwise it wont work either.
Please we need android version
As always, mostly not working on the iPad properly. Spline tool…
