My family has owned the 1996 VHS of Toy Story for as long as I can remember, though interestingly, the case had its artwork ripped off. I believe my copy is Version 2, with the difference between Versions 1 and 2 being which version of the Hercules trailer is shown during the tape's opening. I also have the Ultimate Pixar Movie Collection DVD set, which was released either in 2007 or 2008. This set compiles the most recent DVD releases for every Pixar movie from Toy Story to Ratatouille. In this case, it includes the 2005 10th anniversary release.
The releases I have are the following. 1) Original 1996 VHS 2) 2000 "Gold Classic Collection" VHS 3) 2000 "2 Pack" DVD that comes with "Toy Story 2" 4) 2010 DVD+Blu Ray "Special Edition".
