A sort of “Progressive Junior,” the Sync is a single-vision lens which applies free-form backside surfacing to include a small “bump” in the lower portion of the lens in order to alleviate eyestrain on tasks conducted at near distances. As I understand it the + add value range is quite low with this type of lens.
That is the perfect description for this lens. Thanks for much for the very informative comment. I'm not sure what the +add value range is, but I only see two ranges; distance and reading. Thanks so much for watching. Have a great day! :)
@@dangelmrn3782 If you can get away with using cheap reading glasses that might be better. The problem with adopting varifocals early on ( early to mid 40s) is that you will lose the visual accommodation to focus at mid and near distances quicker, often within 12 months. If you use reading glasses this doesn't happen until you reach about age 50. These 'junior progressives' are a bit of a trap a marketing in that respect.
@@plowe6751 Yes, pretty much, though really more of a marketing exercise to get people to adopt progressives, a few years earlier than they would normally.
We used to call this a 'digital plus' lens- a distance lens, with an extra +0.75 boost area down low to read digital devices. HOYA calls it a SYNC III lens- The SYNC III-5 has an extra +0.57 diopter boost down low; the SYNC III-9 has an extra +0.95 diopter boost down low; the SYNC III-13 has an extra +1.32 diopter boost down low. Good for distance and some reading during the day, but no midrange/arms-length zone like in a GOOD (Essilor Varilux) progressive. TIP- You must wear a full progressive lens close to your eyes (about 12mm vertex distance) to maximize the intermediate corridor width. If you let them slip lower and out from your face, you lose a lot. Most OD's do a refraction around 12/13mm, and that is the distance lenses should be worn from the eye. I'm guessing he prescribed the higher +1.32 diopter boost for you. Quite lovely indeed 🙂
Hi Blair, thanks for all of this information. I am going to have to screen shot this so I have it for reference. Not every eye doctor offers these lenses so it's good to know what the non Hoya name brand is. My issue is I don't need the midrange distance yet...so far... but I'm getting close to needing it. Whenever I used my glasses to look at my computer it was blurry so I had to take them off. We shall see at my next appointment. Hopefully my new doctor offers these lenses because I've gotten quite used to them. Thanks for watching. :)
I use Hoya Workstyle ID 40cm to 6m away indoor office glasses. Best purchase ever. I made two, first option was perfect. Second option messed up I felt better without and he sent for correction n but still wasn't good. Find good opto that understand Hoya. Most will sell essilor progressive which I don't like
What your opto should have sold you were "seamless bifocals" from Younger Optics. It is an old design, most optos either don't know about them, or they don't want to sell them because the profit margin on them is small. They were the fore-runner to the modern progressive., but still a true bifocal, you just can't see the segment, it is invisible. Unlike a progressive, you only have near and distance vision, but there are none of the problems normally associated with progressives OR bifocals. I have a pair, and as long as they make them I will wear nothing else.
@@plowe6751 Any optician that carries the Younger brand line of lens can order them for you. Call around and ask, it shouldn't be hard t find one that does, Younger has been in the trade for many, many years and is highly regarded.
I’m nearsighted too. I can still see good up close without glasses. Actually, I have to take my glasses off to see up close. I’ll probably need those cool sync lenses in the future. Thank you for telling us about them.
Hi Deb, that is my issue as well. I always had to take my glasses off to see my phone or up close. These solve that problem because there is a little part at the bottom that makes up close clear. It saves you from having to take off your glasses to read. Good luck! Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
hi everyone ,if anyone else wants to discover distance vision glasses try Scarlazzina Exemplary Genie (search on google ) ? It is a great one off product for finding the secret for natural eyesight improvement minus the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my mate got astronomical results with it.
I cried almost everyday after dropping big bucks on my first pair of progressives. They kept telling me to hang in there and I would get used to them. They said sometimes it takes a few weeks. Literally on day 22, it was like I’d never had any problem. I put my glasses on and there were no wavy floors, no nausea , no guessing where to put my foot when going downstairs. Yes you have to learn to move your head to find the sweet spot. It's hard! But, now I wouldnt know how to do it any differently. Crazy how hard it is to learn how to see with them tho. Glad you found a solution!
Hi Poppyvintula, thanks for telling me about your experience. It does sound very hard, but I'm so glad they finally worked for you. I think my problem is I don't wear them constantly. I never gave myself a chance to get used to them. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend. xoxo :)
I am getting my furst ever pair of glasses. I got progressives, but I will try these as well. I need an all in one fix. I don't wanna have to have a lot of lenses. I already have to get used to wearing them to begin with. So thank you.
Hi, I would say if you can get used to the progressives then you probably don't need these. I heard it takes time to get used to them. I wish you luck! Thanks for watching and have a great day. :)
Gotta love new technology! Nice that’s there’s an alternative for people who can’t adjust to progressive lenses. I started wearing progressives about 8-9 years ago. Took me about a day or two to adjust. My optometrist told me the “secret” was to point my nose at whatever I wanted to look at. That did the trick. I’ve been fine ever since. Yours look great on you and how awesome that they are the same cost as single vision. Progressives are so dang expensive!😊
Hi Valerie, yes you said it! I was so surprised I couldn't get used to them because I'm usually pretty easy about things like that, but it just didn't happen. I probably didn't wear them enough. That's a great tip though. I guess it worked out for the best though because now I have a more cost effective solution. I'm still thinking about Lasik though. If the price was reasonable I might do it. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend. xoxo :)
I have been hearing about Kubota glasses which, in theory, will change the shape of your eyes back to normal thereby reducing or eliminating the need for glasses altogether. They produce some type of myopic image which is projected onto your retina from my understanding. Surgery is too scary.
Hoya Sync lenses are anti-fatigue lenses, which are technically progressive lenses but marketed as single-vision lenses because some people don't want to think of themselves as old.
That’s an interesting perspective. I’m only as old as I feel. 😁 I might actually need the midrange vision now so I might have to finally try to get used to Progressives. If you don’t need the midrange then these are a great option since they are a relatively inexpensive option. Thanks for watching 😁
@@myPursesuitOfHappiness What you call midrange is typically referred to as intermediate or arms reach by opticians or lens manufacturers. That's about 67 cm. That's how far your computer screen typically is. Progressives (that are not office progressives) are horrible for computer use for longer than 5 minutes at a time because you have to hold your head a certain way for the sweet spot. If you have to use the computer for more than 5 minutes at a time, you shold get yourself a pair of task-specific lenses. If your ADD power is 1.75 or less, you should get a pair of single-vision reading glasses for computer use. If your ADD power is 2.00 or more, you should get a pair of office progressive lenses for computer use. Office progressives sacrifce the distance portion but it still has a sliver of distance at the very top. You have a choice of 3, 6, 12, or 18 feet for the distance portion. Depends on how big your office is. The 18 feet lens has a smaller progressive corridor than the 3 feet lens. The 3 feet lens has the largest sweet spot. Alternatively, instead of getting a pair of office progressives, you can get a pair of bifocals with intermediate on top and near on the bottom (but there is no distance at the very top so the office progressive is better). You can't use the task-specific computer lenses for driving, of course, because the distance vision has been sacrificed.
Great information to know, I’ve never heard of this alternative for progressive lenses. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. You look amazing and your glasses look awesome on you. Xoxo ❤️
This is exactly my problem I cannot get used to progressives I've had them now about 2 weeks, I'm actually going back tomorrow I'm either getting bifocals or I'm just going to have them do lenses for me when I'm seeing far places such as driving because my prescription is very very light I really don't even have to wear them but they sure do clear things up, I will ask my doctor about these lenses if they even have them and I don't know if they're even more than progressives
Hello, Yes that was my issue too. My distance prescription is very light and I don't even need them for driving, but it just makes everything sharper. These were actually the same price as regular lenses if I remember right so that is a big bonus. This is a brand name which might be specific for your eye doctor. Just mention that these have a big portion on the top for distance and a small area on the bottom for reading. The midrange is left out. Good luck! Thanks for watching and have a great day. :)
Hello Gorgeous. I have an appointment with an Optometrist to get the right lens for me. Yay for being over 40! You look lovely in those frames but then you look good in everything. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.
Hello Gorgeous, I wish you luck in finding the right lenses. I'd have to say yay for being over 50! Thanks for the compliments my sweet friend. Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
i just got my new varifocals couple weeks ago (we call them that in the UK lol) i need reading glasses but not for distance and taking them off and on was getting to be a pain in the bum!! so i thought i would try these - im struggling a little and getting used to turning the head instead of just my eyes but the optician told me to persevere a little longer as the brain needs to get used to using them too and i do think they're getting better...tfs..have a great week :)))))
Hi, thanks for your comment. I think I probable should have tried a little harder to get used to my glasses. Since I don't wear them all the time I think I wasn't able to get used to them at all and took the easy way out and just wore my distance only glasses. I'm glad yours are getting easier. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
4:17 You don't need the intermediate portion. Lucky you! You must be the luck few where their presbyopia cancels out their myopia. Yours cancels out in such a way that the focal length is about 67 cm, so you still need a multifocal lens for reading at 40 cm.
Hello! Wow, That’s very detailed information and good to know. Unfortunately I am starting to need the intermediate distance now. When my eyes get tired mid day have trouble seeing my computer screen. My next pair will most likely be progressives. Thanks for watching 🤗
@@myPursesuitOfHappiness You CAN NOT use regular progressive lenses for computer use for more than 5 minutes at a time. Tunnel vision (or hunting, aka head movement) will become super annoying after 5 minutes. I do not recommend regular lined bifocals for computer use either. You can certainly try, but it is super annoying to have to adjust the height of the monitor (as low as possible) and adjust the height of your chair and possibly tilt your head up and possibly raise the frame as it sits on your face. All of the above is extremely annoying. Not worth the effort when all you have to do is buy a task-specific pair of glasses with a focal length of 67 cm (typically half the ADD power). You have the following options: (1) Single-vision intermediate lenses that is half the ADD power, (2) lined bifocal with intermediate on top and near on bottom, (3) Office progressive (aka workplace progressive or workspace progressive), which has distance of your choice at the very top (3 feet, 6 feet, 12 feet, 18 feet) and intermediate in the center and near at the bottom. You can not drive with office progressive because in the world of optics you have to give up something in order to get something. In order to get a wider intermediate zone, you have to give up the distance zone. That's why you can't drive with the office progressive. But at least you don't have to "hunt" (move your head). Alternatively, I guess you can have your optometrist make you a pair of SYNC glasses with intermediate on top and near on the bottom. But once again, you can't drive with these glasses because these are task-specific glasses.
@3:05 is the small little window for reading has No Line? I have progressive now but im getting tired of blurriness too. Btw..im new subscriber of your channel. Thank you. You are beautiful !!
I never had an issue with progressive lenses from the moment i put them on the feel pretty natural but i know that’s not the case with most people , its just depends on the type of eye problems that you have and my vision is jacked far intermediate and up close lol so putting them on feel pretty natural from day one.
That’s great! You lucked out with them, because I hear so much that people can’t get used to them. I wish I could. I think my issue is my intermediate vision is still very good and so don’t need glasses. These have still been working out for me. Thanks for watching and have a great day! 🤗
You're welcome! I hope you are able to get these lenses at your eye dr. if you're interested. They've been a real help to me and I'm getting more and more used them everyday. Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
I have perfect eyesight😍👁👁& I've never worn glasses😳. But my wife recently got her first glasses, and they're progressives. They were difficult for her at first, but within the first week they got better. And to MY naked eyes👀, she's super-cute wearing them!💚🧡
Hi! I am progressive lenses victim too.. can’t adjust to them! Your video gave me hope. However, when I searched I only saw one online company who offers them. Can I ask you where your optometrist located? Maybe I am near enough? Please let me know, thank you!
Hello, I’m sorry to hear your struggles. I got these from an optometrist in Glenview, IL. It’s in the Chicago area. I have moved out of state so I’m still wearing mine and need a new prescription, but am afraid I won’t find them here. I think this is just a brand name. If you bring the information to your optometrist maybe they can make something similar? I am at the point where I might need the midrange part of the lens so I might have to try progressives again though. Good luck! Thanks for watching. 😁
Hi Burnice, yes that’s very frustrating because these lenses cost so much. Can you take them back to your provider? They might have something wrong in the prescription. When I told my eye doctor a year later that I couldn’t wear them he said I should have come back. They would have fixed them. I still wear these glasses and they have been working really well as an alternative. Thanks for watching and have a great day. Xoxo 🤗
As I understand, not all Optical stores offer this brand or this type of lens. There were a lot of comments talking about what type of lenses this is and what to ask for at your provider. I suggest reading through to comments to find out what to ask for. These are basically a no line bifocal. Good luck and Thanks for watching. Have a great day. 🤗
Thank you for the interesting information. I need to make an appointment as soon as possible. I will float the idea to my doc and see if this lense would be beneficial to me. I really like both of your frames. They both look fantastic on you! I remember asking you about your frames way before I became a UA-cam creator. Thank you for sharing. Happy Sunday 😎💕💖
You're welcome BH. I hope you are able to get more information about these from your eye dr. Thanks for the compliments as well. I appreciate it. Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
I have the same issue. I need glasses for distance but I'm fine up close so looking at something up close & then look away at distance gets blurry & I have to try to focus. I only wear my glasses when driving but I can tell my eyes have changed a smidge. It's been a while since going to eye dr. I need to go but want to thank you for talking about these because I'll mention them when I go!
Hi Spring, so you might have the same issues since you only wear your glasses while driving. That's my issue too and driving with progressives was my main issue. I hope your eye dr. offers these and you are able to try them. The plus is they aren't expensive like progressives. Good luck. Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
Hey there myPursuitOfHappiness, I think I may pull the trigger on these lenses. My optician recommends them for my issue. I have single vision lenses. I can see distance fine, but to read a screen I need to pull the frames to the end of my nose. I was hesitant with the Hoya Sync's b/c they're billed as being for `eye strain' that causes blurriness or headaches. My near blurriness has nothing to do with eye strain, so I'm guessing in your case that's true too? All I need is to be able to read with the same clarity as I get from the distance rx.
Hi John, sorry for the late reply. I've been away from youtube for awhile. I'm curious, did you get the lenses? How are they working for you? In my case I needed them because my reading vision was getting bad. I can still read without reading glasses most of the time unless my eyes are tired, but when I wear my distance glasses my up close is blurry. It was a pain to have to pull them up or to the tip of my nose. These glasses have worked great for me. Thanks for watching and I hope the glasses worked. Have a great day.
@@myPursesuitOfHappiness Actually, I couldn't stand them. I wore them for < than a day and returned them. No way I could deal with more than 1 RX in a single lens. Had the optician put the regular single vision Trivex lenses back in and picked up a separate pair of reading glasses. Much happier now.
@@johntavenner1379 Well I’m glad you found a solution. It takes a little getting used to but I found these so much easier than progressive lenses that have 3 different strengths and a smaller distance window.
Thank you so much for this great informative video. It indeed benefited me since I was a bit confused to chose between bifocals and progressive glasses.
Ava (you look like my friend Ava) You have the same issues that I have had with progressives. I note, too, that the lens labs don't pay attention to differential lens prescriptions (like one eye astigmatism) ... they kinda cut down the middle. Then one is told by the fitting optician "you need to get used to them". These people are full of BS.
Hello, Thank you for the information! I was also told you have to get used to them. I might actually be ready for them now since I'm having trouble sometimes seeing my computer screen. The midrange might be helpful. Thanks for watching and have a great day. :)
Sorry for the delayed response. I have never heard of Varilux lenses, but I am definitely going to check them out. The peripheral vision was my biggest problem because I mostly wear my glasses for driving. Thanks for the information. Thanks so much for watching. Have a great day! :)
Thank you!! I have bifocals and was told progressive was next this year and was dreading it! I’m definitely asking for this. My mom has progressive and I don’t want them lol! You look beautiful! My bifocals look so funny because I seriously can’t see so my lenses kind of look like Coke bottles😂 I’m wondering if this brand will be the same? Thank you for the info!!

6:50 i think its the brand name not offered but all or most optemetrists offer the no line bifocals. Ive been wearing progressive for 20+ yrs with thin lens. It is very expensive. I am thinking to downgrade to no line bifocals thin lens. Thnx for sharing. My 1st time on ur channel. You are pretty !!!! This is very interesting. I have progressive lenses and they are horrid. I’m constrain front of a screen so I’m definitely going to inquire about these. TFS🌺
Hi Sonja, I hope you can find a solution. My dr asked me at what distance I would like the up close distance to be and I just showed him the distance I hold my phone at. You might be able to have them made to the distance you see your computer screen at. I think these can be customized for different uses. Good luck! Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
This was interesting insight, thank you for sharing it. It helped bring clarity regarding my understanding of the difference between Progressive lenses and the Sync III lenses, as I wasn't sure if I had one or the other, both layered, or what exactly. Now I understand a bit better.

I can't wear/adjust to progressive reading glasses. I have tried several times over the years with different brands, always end up returning them within the month trial period. The corridor and optical peripheral aberrations are impossible - they make me dizzy and give me headaches. One day I was in Target looking for reading glasses and by accident discovered a brand called "ICU" that sold (unfortunately not anymore) "Omni-Focus" reading glasses which have lenses made with the same magnification the full width of the lens (no corridor and no peripheral distortion/aberration), with gradations in magnification from the bottom to the top of the lens. Foster Grant also sells progressives like this, marketed as Multi-Focus. Occasionally these can be found in drugstores but check online. (about $35) Are these "Synch" glasses like that?
From an optometrist, those would be considered an "executive trifocal". Your optometrist should be able to sell you those. They will cost much more than $35 though. www.allaboutvision.com/over40/segmented.htm

Hi, I definitely recommend them. They’ve been working out really well. Yes I do wear them while driving because I have to use my google maps often. It allows me to see that as well as the road. Some times it still does get confusing because I have a tendency to tilt my head up and then I’m looking through the wrong part. However it’s much easier than the progressives with that small window at the top. Good luck and thanks for watching. Xoxo 🤗

Hi 👋. You are very right. I have always heard that it takes time to get used to them, especially progressives. Your eyes have to get used to where to look for certain distances. I don’t think I have it enough time. I’m so glad you got used to your new glasses. Thanks for watching and have a great week! 🤗

fredy Calderon Yes your eyes definitely need to adjust. If your eyes continue with redness you might want to go see your eye dr. I hope it gets better. I know, it’s amazing how sharp everything is isn’t it?!
myPursesuitOfHappiness yes thank God my eyes are ok 👌 when I’m at home 🏡 I take them off cause don’t have problems with nearsighted just distance and it gives my eyes time to relax but yeah now everything it’s perfect like I put my glasses during the day it won’t hurt my eyes now don’t get headaches like used to before

I went to my nearest Optometrist shop today to ask about Progressive Lens. And they cost a bundle. How much? Let's just say it will take a whole year to save up for it. So I left saying "I'll think about it". But after watching your video, I'd say "Yeah, let's try something else". I'll search for the Sync 3 and see if I can find them where I am. Thank you.
You’re very welcome! Yes they do cost a lot. Definitely if you don’t need that midrange vision help and just far and reading then these are perfect! Sync 3 is a brand name so many places might not offer them. They are basically just for distance with a little section at the bottom for reading (but without the line). Your optometrist might have a different name for them so be sure to describe what you need and ask for any options they have. Good luck! Thanks for watching and have a great day. 🥰🌷☀️🌸
Progessive glasses suck to much work I purchase my first pair about 3 days ago and my eyes have been all over the place i can see up close and read just fine but anything that has just a little distant it’s totally blurry 03/17/2020

Hi Ivana! Thank you for all your good information. I just started to use the progressive one a week ago and a half the same issue I have to move my head in order to read anything. But what about my case I need 3 Focus. Thay make only 2 focus or they can build 3 Focus lenses too? Thank you and have a good day
Hi, I hope your glasses are working out for you. I think 3 focus would just be regular progressive lenses. These are specifically for two ranges of focus, for distance and for looking at a screen like your phone or computer (up close). There is no midrange. Thanks for watching and have a great day. Xoxo 🤗💕
They are like no line bifocals or progressives. The difference is there is no midrange. Progressives have a small distance section at the top, a small midrange in the middle and a reading section at the bottom. These only have a larger distance section with a small lower portion at the bottom for reading. I believe they can also be made to be a midrange section at the bottom instead of a reading section, whatever your specific needs are. They are helpful for me because I do not need a midrange portion. It gives me a larger part to see distance. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and have a great day. 🤗

Most will sell essilor progressive which I don't like
I'm so glad you were able to find something that really works for you. That style looks great on you also. TFS
Thanks so much Kim! They are working out really well so far. I'm so happy I found this solution. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend. xoxo :)
Thanks for sharing. How do I find a place that sells "seamless bifocals" from Younger Optics?
I'm trying these progressive lenses for the first time. Hanging in there.
Good luck! I’m still wearing them and I love them. Thanks for watching and have a great day. 🤗
Thank you this is exactly what I’ve been looking for 😊
You’re very welcome! I hope you find a great pair and they work for you. Thanks for watching 😃
They sound almost identical to the Essilor Eyezen lenses that I was prescribed a month ago.
I am going to have to look into those, because not all optometrists offer these. Thanks for the info. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
This sounds very interesting. Thanks for sharing this. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful evening. 🤗
Xoxo ❤️
Thanks so much for the kind compliment Sha! I was so grateful to find this alternative. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend. xoxo :)

Excellent far.
Excellent near vision.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into those. Thanks for watching and have a great day. 🤗
i just got my new varifocals couple weeks ago (we call them that in the UK lol) i need reading glasses but not for distance and taking them off and on was getting to be a pain in the bum!! so i thought i would try these - im struggling a little and getting used to turning the head instead of just my eyes but the optician told me to persevere a little longer as the brain needs to get used to using them too and i do think they're getting better...tfs..have a great week :)))))
Somebody on Facebook mentioned *invisible transitional bifocals* is how I found your video. Resembles _Sync_
Thanks so much! Sorry for the late reply. I appreciate your watching. Have a wonderful week. xoxo :)
@3:05 is the small little window for reading has No Line? I have progressive now but im getting tired of blurriness too. Btw..im new subscriber of your channel. Thank you. You are beautiful !!
Thanks so much! Sorry for the late reply. I appreciate your watching and subscribing. Have a wonderful week. xoxo :)
Thanks.. Your video helps me a lot!
You are so welcome! Glad it helped! I'm still wearing and loving my lenses. Good luck! Thanks for watching :)
Thank you for posting this video! This information was a great help to me in reference to glasses.
And to MY naked eyes👀, she's super-cute wearing them!💚🧡
I love this! I’m glad they worked out for her (and you 😁). Thanks for watching and have a great day. 🤗
@@myPursesuitOfHappiness You're so welcome! And yes, it worked out for me too, because I've always loved women with glasses!💜💛💚
My progressives dont work up close like they said. I still take my glasses off. So frustrating
Xoxo 🤗
Awesome information. Where can I buy these from? Thanks in advance
Good luck. Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
Great honest review thank you
Hey there myPursuitOfHappiness, I think I may pull the trigger on these lenses.
These sound like lined bifocals without the line. What is the difference?
Thank you so much for this great informative video. It indeed benefited me since I was a bit confused to chose between bifocals and progressive glasses.
Thanks so much! Sorry for the late reply. I appreciate your watching. Have a wonderful week. :)
Thank you for sharing this info. It's always good to know that there an alternative. .....progressive lenses cost so much. Excellent share🤗
Hi, thank you for the very kind comment. I’m sorry for the late response. Thanks for watching and have a great day. Xoxo 🤗💕
How many degrees are you missing and what kind of problem do you have?
i wear Varilux lenses for progressives, they work better than plain old progressives. Peripheral vision is not blurry.
You're welcome! I hope your dr. has a solution that will work for you when it comes time for you to get your new glasses. Thanks for the compliments. Your glasses always looked cute on you. :) Thanks for watching and have a great week. xoxo :)
Btw..larger light color frame brings out your personality but cannot debate on ones favorite. Not judging just observation. Stay safe !
Thank you for the kind comment. You're very welcome. I'm glad I could help. I'm still wearing them and they are really great. I hope you can find a optometrist who offers these or something like them. TFW and have a great day!
I’m going thru this now the progressive was way to much for me gave me migraine 😢

Tqvm. Hope they have it in Malaysia
I think these maybe called workplace progressives. Zenni has 3 different types of workplaces glasses. Warby patker does not have the sync. Iwas in dallas tx mid April 2019. All they have is dingle vision and progressives

How much where they
The price varies based on your insurance I believe. However these are priced the same as single vision lenses so they not nearly as expensive as progressives. That is a major plus. Thanks so much for watching. Have a great day! :)
I read that they are better for ages 13 and 45. since I'm a senior I don't think they would work for me
Thank you for that info. I had not heard that. I am 54 and they are working well for me, but my midrange vision is still not bad enough to need glassed to see my computer. Thanks for watching and have a great day. :)

(about $35)
Are these "Synch" glasses like that?
From an optometrist, those would be considered an "executive trifocal". Your optometrist should be able to sell you those. They will cost much more than $35 though. www.allaboutvision.com/over40/segmented.htm

I'm definitely going to look into these Sync lenses. Progressives have such a small top viewing area. Do you use your glasses with Sync while driving? Nice video☺☺☺💖💖💖
Xoxo 🤗
The alternative, is to use a plus lens for your close work.
No line, no glasses.

Hi 👋. You are very right. I have always heard that it takes time to get used to them, especially progressives. Your eyes have to get used to where to look for certain distances. I don’t think I have it enough time.
I’m so glad you got used to your new glasses.

I'm sorry you're having issues too. I just couldn't get used to them, but these have worked really well for me. I don't use them for the desktop, but for driving and reading my phone they are perfect. They were way easier to get used to. I definitely recommend trying these lenses out. Thanks so much for watching. Have a great day! :)
Nice !
Thanks so much! Sorry for the late reply. I appreciate your watching. Have a wonderful week. :)
I need these too. Progressives are driving me crazy.
These have been working really well for me. I hope you can find them. Good luck! Thanks for watching and have a great day. Xoxo 🤗
Xoxo 🤗💕
Ask your optometrist about "executive trifocals". You can see how they work here. www.allaboutvision.com/over40/segmented.htm
are they like bifocals
They are like no line bifocals or progressives. The difference is there is no midrange. Progressives have a small distance section at the top, a small midrange in the middle and a reading section at the bottom. These only have a larger distance section with a small lower portion at the bottom for reading. I believe they can also be made to be a midrange section at the bottom instead of a reading section, whatever your specific needs are. They are helpful for me because I do not need a midrange portion. It gives me a larger part to see distance. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching and have a great day. 🤗
