I had applied to ESSEC Business School for their Grande Ecole Master in Management program in the 3rd round and received my acceptance back in March 2020. After applying for my student visa back in August 2020, I finally got the chance to fly to France at the end of September and start school. My first trimester got over in December 2020 and now I am fresh in this new year starting my 2nd trimester.

Hi Ahmad, thanks for this video. I have many questions about the management master programme such like the requirement admission for international student, the syllabus, tips and trick for entering it, the cost for living, etc.
You can find the requirement on the official ESSEC website on the MiM program page. There is no syllabus as such. You can select whichever course you want. For entering you can give the gmat/gre. I have an application video on my channel as well as one for living expenses, please check for the last 2 queries :D

Hi Muskan, yes there are but some of them were closed right now because of the situation.
Arif when you had few years of work-ex, why didn't you go for MBA program.
Arif has 2 years of work experience, most MiM programs accept students 0-2 years of work ex, while MBA has a minimum of 3 years, in USA it's 5 years. So that's why he might have gone for MiM
An MBA program wouldn't have sufficed my career aspirations. I have talked about this in 'MIT to LBS' video with Siddharth. Do check that out.

I was planning to do my MBA from here .can you tell me the median gmat score so that I will apply here after weighing in my chances?
Also how's the employability scenario for desis like us in here ?
I was planning to pick either ESSESC or warwick for mba
There is no fixed gmat score. Ppl have 660 as well as 760. Median would be 700. It depends on your overall application and how much motivation you showcase. Warwick and ESSEC are in different countries and have different USPs so do look at all the factors.
Hey! Nice video. Wanted to know about getting a job after graduation in France. I will be taking up a loan and worried if I will be able to pay it back. I want to stay back in France for work.
If you put in the hard work, then yes you will definitely be able to get a good job here and pay back your loan sooner than you would expect.

Also, people say that it is not compulsory to know French to get into this university. But, from your personal experience, do you think it is necessary to learn French? And, how would life be if you don't know French?
It is SO SO SO SO required to know French if you want to survive peacefully here

The global BBA program is quite well known. The job opportunities will however totally depend upon how much hard work you put in.
great video. Should anyone from essec tell how the covid situation is there and if it is wort to apply for a residence for students admitted for sept 2021 intake? I am afraid of the possibility of moving to just see a half-empty campus bc of online classes
The situation is okay as of now. We do have a hybrid style of teaching so you can attend all of your classes in person. What the situation will be when you come in August, honestly, nobody can predict that.
Hi Arif. I got into the DSBA program at ESSEC as well as in EDHEC Business School. As an international student, what would you recommend I take? Which university has a better name in France?

Arif I got selected in both essec and LBS for the mim programs. What would be your suggestion in terms of choosing from the two options given you have probably interacted with students from both schools

You see I am a first year student at University of Delhi, my course isn't honours I am doing a programme course so is that going to hamper? Plus how can I compensate if I don't have big brand internships under my Belt as if I only have worked in startups?

@@avishkasingh3993 I graduated from DU as well. I am from St. Stephen's, chemistry honours. So no course doesn't hold you back if you have internships, society work and online courses to back up your interest in the management field. In terms of internship brands try to make sure you do one internship from a big brand. I did mine from EY. This involves a whole lot of linkedIN dms and mailing to HR of companies. Try getting placed from campus internships as well. But obviously it comes down to the work that you do and your impact.

Yes, Tanuj, B.Com and BBA programs are generally 3 years so yes they are accepted

Every school has a different curriculum and calendar that they follow. The exams might not happen at the same time.

What is the review of University of st gallen sim program
Top program but only open for people who have done a masters in engineering or business undergrad
Its definitely one of the top in Europe but make sure you check if it aligns with your career goals or not.

As it was Covid, the campus was a bit empty. But I was also purposely trying to shoot when people were not there so that you can see the infra properly

No
depends on the school. some exempt it some keep it mandatory.
Does the campus have a gym??
I guess it does. I am not sure. Because of the Covid, it must have been closed.
